Had to pick this up. Complete with nuclear reactor and based on real physics and systems. Reviews are 5 stars and the best fun in MSFS. A great X-Mas gift. https://store.flightsim.to/product/quasar Also on MP. dd

I've gone back to the A350 (inibuilds in MSFS2024) after parking it in the hangar for a while. The LNAV implementation is really bad. Here with a 25kt crosswind in cruise, the aircraft has to be left wing down (with left aileron AND spoiler) to maintain heading. See here https://ibb.co/6RmDjXqm It should just crab into the wind. It's been like this for half an hour now. Is this correct or should it be crabbing into the wind?

FS2024 SU4 Beta 1.6.31.0 Steam .cfg Installed Packages Path: A:\MicrosoftFlightSimulator2024\Packages Win 11 25H2 I am very confused about the location and structure of my sim folders. I find sim folders split between two primary folders on the same drive. The sim reads the same file from both folders. When I follow the .cfg pointer to A:\MicrosoftFlightSimulator2024 I find the following folders (date is the last modified) Missions Custom CustomFlight 3/22/25 Packages - empty Packages SteamedPackages - 980 files 11/28/25 which is the last time I ran the sim Official2024 Ste…

This may get moved, because, maybe it does not belong here, but did we have payware airports in the '90's?I remember Mallard having many add on's but were there airports?

I am one of the lucky ones who have been running the A350 in MSFS 2020 with no problems. Just installed the latest update and the external model has disappeared. See here: https://imgur.com/ww6qWAw Any ideas?

Changes according to it's real worldcolour for a give date, when the tower is lighted for some liturgic calendar date, or other commemorations. Astounding detail that we can find flawlessly reproduced in FS 2024 !!!

This video shows missing "gear down" on most AI aircraft when landing. Will it ever be fixed by MS/ASOBO?

This has to be the most immersion killing. Smooth EGLL, all the AI traffic, everything sharp and the Fenix is just incredible. Then all the landing traffic is hovering with no landing gear. Great. Is this a MSFS 2024 thing? I have my object LOD on 100. Ramping it up doesn't seem to help. I'm using FSHud with FSLTL traffic packs. Anything I can do? TIA.

RELEASE NOTES Sim Update 4 Beta - 1.6.31.0 Stability & Performance On PC and Xbox, changed the way the mip evictions are handled to improve texture management and reduce stutters. On Xbox, GPU is now used to manage the mipstreaming and reduce stutter frequency. Improved texture quality management to reduce stutters. Physics Fixed self impacting build up burst of wake turbulence that would happen when helicopters were touching the ground and that would cause absorbed torque / RPM changes on some helicopters. Aircraft Engin…

It's all in the title, for those who thought this would never happen, think again and hurry up it's on sale for one more day only! https://secure.simmarket.com/leonardo-software-house-srl-fly-the-maddog-x-msfs-(fr_16546).phtml That's still one of the very best airliner add-on for MSFS for simmers who - like me - love old airplanes and don't fly computers.😄

Hey! I am coding a new FDE Tool for MSFS 2020 and 2024. This will be able to fine tune the FDE very easily. I need beta testers, so any interested ones can send me an email to: fsprgrs [at] gmail [dot] com or DM me. Devs are welcome as well. Thanks Federico

The title should be "yields" but there is a character limit on the title. Anyways, the Toliss founder, Torsten Liesk, explains why MSFS gives higher FPS, because it is able to utilize more CPU cores, because the architecture is more asynchronous at the 18:49 mark of the video: The key quote from Torsten Liesk is: I know a lot of people in this MSFS forum keep talking trash about Asobo, but Asobo came up with a really good architecture for MSFS 2020, and they enhanced that architecture even further in MSFS 2024 to make it even more asynchronous (actually, in the last Twitch Q&A, Seb talked briefly on the additional optimizations they made for SU…

First iniBuilds wanted to charge for the cabins, then they didn't. I've just gone back to the A350 after a long time away...installed the recent update, and when I went into the flight deck...it wasn't there. A bit of googling and I discover the new updates don't work with the cabin packs...have they abandoned them...?

Still a few F1 races to go and I missed a few when I was in hospital but i departed LEBL after a quick hop up the coast from Valencia to do LEBL-KEWR for my final leg home... I managed to visit Thailand, USA, Qatar, Spain, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Czechia, Austria, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia missed Portugal and now back to Spain to close it out finally returning from LEBL-KEWR and then on to KLAS for F1 next weekend LOL I've also done some F1-MotoGP crossover like Australia-China, China-Dubai and just recently SBGR-LEBL travelling from F1 in Brazil straight to MotoGP in Spain I have to say, between followi…

It's the older model, Buttkicker Gamer I think but has the BK4-130 amplifier as well. The remote is a little loose but works fine and you can obviously still control volume through the mini amp. This does require a dedicated sound card ( I use a USB external) and will also require software like simshaker for MSFS but outside of that just cover the shipping and it's yours... First one to PM me they want it gets it; my zip is 07724 if you want to look up shipping. That is NJ in the US so US is preferred but I will send it overseas if someone is interested. I have a new seat and a new buttkicker gamer pro coming for it hence the extra one I am no lon…

Has anyone seen this issue: I usually start the Aivlasoft EFB2 Server first and than start MSFS2020. When the sim arrives at the airport/aircraft selection< I get a warning: The currently selected database does not match the running simulator type! So I click on YES to start the DataBaseBuilder, build a new database which it completes successful and everything works properly again. A little bit annoying, since it takes awhile to rebuild the database. I know the support for the EFB2 has stopped, however maybe someone had the same problem and could reply. Thanks and Happy New Year

LFPN is available for free at flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/22845/toussus-le-noble-vfr-reporting-points-and-some-minor-improvments-for-pilots-lfpn This scenery redesigns the whole airport area of a famous GA airport in the west of Paris. It's a mod from pilot-eyes perspective and includes VFR reporting points. I'm a real VFR pilot flying frequently from Toussus-Le-Noble and want to add details I know in real, in the sim. For example, you'll get all the real taxiway signs. Although FranceVFR has releases Toussus-Le-Noble (LFPN) in its Pack VFR Paris, this small scenery redesigns the whole airport area. It's a mod from pilot-eyes perspective and include…

For various reasons, I'm planning to reinstall and change over MSFS 2020 CD version, to download one on PC platform. Regarding stability and installation flexibility, what are the differences between Steam and Store version? I would be grateful of anyone’s suggestion.

Is anyone else experiencing a performance drop in MSFS 2020 today? I have had three flights where take offs and landings have been a jerk fest, and the main menu is very slow (the shadow of those hangar doors in the background is almost like a slideshow, and the menu option images are taking their time to be displayed). Framerates in the air are generally OK, but I have never seen it this bad (even though my PC is relatively ancient technology).

Hey there, I'm here for a recommendation or some advice. I want to print the checklists to have them more readily available, but I have two checklists: the default ones for the Carenado aircraft and one I found online for a real aircraft. They have differences. The Carenado checklist repeats the check to verify the fuel valves in their correct position in all phases (cockpit inspection, engine start, pre-takeoff, takeoff, cruise, etc.), while the official checklist only mentions it during the cockpit inspection. The engine start procedure in the Carenado checklist is also very different from the official one; the Carenado checklist includes verifying that the do…

As I bought new gaming computer I might come back to virtual flying. Back then I used to have fun on FS2020, bought on MS store. In case I buy FS2024, does it make a difference if I buy it on Steam instead? If I recall correctly, I had bought a few addons for FS2020 back then. Other question, with 48 Mbps download speed (upload and ping are ok) should I first test FS2024 on a Premium Game Pass trial subscription, or can I be confident enough that my internet is fast enough to immediately buy FS2024? Thank you in advance!

I wanted to check if anyone else has been dealing with inconsistent low bandwidth pop ups in MSFS 2024 over the last couple weeks. I have been using 2024 exclusively for the past six months and only recently started seeing these messages. When the pop up appears, my destination airport usually ends up blurry or fails to load in even after the message clears. I am on a hard wired one gig connection and everything looks stable on my end. I have also tried different DNS settings without success. I am not using the Google map replacement mod that has been discussed elsewhere. What has me puzzled is the inconsistency. I can fly for twelve hours or more with no issues, the…
