Hi all. I am hoping some one who has the Just Friends A-32 Vixxen can give me a little advice. Last week I hired the A-32 Vixen from the marketplace. I did like the aircraft but sadly I dont like the exaggerated windshield terrain reflection effect that some MSFS2024 aircraft have. (The Vixxen had this effect). Does anyone know if Sim Update 4 has changed this? Or if there is a workaround? I would like to get the vixxen but I will not use it with the windshield effect. Thanks in advance if you can help. Best wishes. Bob

  6. From the Flight FX discord today. Blue skies, -B @everyone As many of you have seen, Microsoft released the Citation X patch for SU4 this morning. This update includes the following fixes: Changelog: - Updated all lighting and emissive materials for SU4 compatibility - Resolved multiple typographical errors in text assets This patch also resolves the black screen issue that affected all SU4 beta users. Now that SU4 is permanent, the fix can be deployed without issue. There have been no changes to the 2020 version. Lastly, a broader and more significant update is in the works. It will address long standing minor avionics is…

Saw this get announced on Discord: (The video is filmed in X-Plane but is also in the MSFS Version)

  8. Hi guys, Like everyone else, I'm loving the performance boost that SU4 has brought! Buuuut.... I have a new issue that is driving me mad! I'm wondering if others are seeing the same issue. A pet hate of mine is when the weather (clouds) are displayed on the main map (where you choose your departure and destinaton airfields). The clouds cover up everything I want to see on the ground when positioning my plane at a suitable spot. In SU3, I could click on the large map filters button on the right on the map and choose the next map option up the list from the bottom default (sorry not at my sim right now). All of the clouds would disappear from the map.…

  10. My added Community2024 folder is empty. Does anyone know what it's for? Thanks.

  11. Before the update the video was in the folder Content\Packages\fs-base-videos\videos\PressStartVideo-4K.mp4 and could be replaced by another file with the same name. now the folder is empty. Where is the video file now?

Apparently if you are running the SU4 beta then you have the final release already. https://youtu.be/MO3cR1aZuLA?si=JTXMMU0NcKSb2c3W

With a RTX2080 Super GPU what is it with the shimmering ?, mostly on aircraft, it's very bad in FS20' not much better in FS24', tried every setting, tweaks, drivers, whatever, nothing helps.

I was hoping FlyTampa had a version of Corfu for MSFS 2024 but it seems the only version is for MSFS 2020 which has some texture issues in MSFS 2024 apparently. Emilios 2020 version looks excellent and there was a thread that 2024 is coming: https://www.flytampa.org/F83749235/viewtopic.php?t=36909#p96221 That was over a year ago, haven't see him post much ... is everything ok with Emilios (life/health)? He produced excellent P3D airports and XP airports, was hoping to seem more for MSFS 2024.

Hello, I currently have 900mbps and have the option to go to 5gbps. Of course, it’s double the price. My quick research (ai) is telling me not to bother and I wouldn’t even be utilising the full 900mbps yet alone 5gbps. I just wanted to make it’s telling the truth and a 5gbps over 900mbps would have little benefit for 2024… or for anything? Thanks, Mike

  22. Started by jfri,

I have big problem using both MSFS and MSFS2024. In the UI mouseclick often does not work and if they do the response is slow. In the cockpit there are often hickups noticed by short interruption in the music. Also frequent hangups of the mousecursor and slow responses. In MSFS I had to end the game in the task manager and after that started in fail safe mode when prompted. Still the same problem. I use Win 11 25H2. Anyone recognising this problem or have any idea about what to do ?

  23. Hello Gang! After launching MSFS2024 and going through the process of installing SU4, now I get an error code 2047. I read this was a reported issue by testers but no idea how to fix. Any ideas? Thanks!
