Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

First flight in quite a while. Flying into KATL at night. In the descent, I noticed at least 6 other airliners stretched out ahead of me, all following the same STAR I was on. Never saw this before, it added a really nice touch of realism. Of course, on a later flight, the vectors to final were completely nonsensical. One step forward, one step back with these guys.

I have the FlyTampa Las Vegas addon. I have never had an issue with it in the past. Suddenly when I fly over the strip parts of it look ok and parts are all screwed up (buildings missing, structures crooked, etc.). I can't remember what has to be enabled and what, if anything, needs to be disabled. I tried moving the addon down the loading list to a lower place. But it's still messed up. Can someone help please?

Hi all, I decided to go all hotas in msfs2024, so without needing a keyboard or any other devices anymore. There's one setting i just can't get right though. Not even after watching numerous control setting vids on Youtube....and even asking Chatgpt which gave me a lot of solutions...which were all wrong. So i came to understand this is more difficult than it seems. So what i want to achieve in msfs2024 is simply this: I want to use one button to toggle between cockpit view and external view, that's easy enough, but then in external view i just want to freely pan around the aircraft with my hat switch. It's been a best practice for me for a while and the net result is always noticeably positive. After installing SU4 I was struck with subtle micro-stutters and scenery loading longer frame stutters, dropping down to maybe 2-4 in a 2h flight. Lately, after 20 or so flights now in SU4 have noticed a significant increase, though in between those, ultra smooth still. SU3 was similar. So decided to do this routine which I might do every 2-3 months, regardless of changing the GPU driver, just wipe and reinstall the same driver, or take a chance on the newest. Is it true that some of the hand crafted airports have been improved/upgraded for MSFS 2024? If so, I would be curious to know if the following issues have been rectified. BIAR Akureyri - displaced threshold arrows offset relative to runway centreline lighting at the 01 end. BIIS Isafjordur - double taxiway lines. EDDK Cologne Bonn - poor performance. EDDM Munich - train station lit up by a thousand suns. EDDP Leipzig Halle - double runway centreline markings. If you have experienced the infamous hang upon world loading at 97% (so common that it has become an internet meme since MSFS24 was launched), I came across a workaround that has solved the issue for me where I am now able to load and access the sim. Before this, I was getting these random stalls on startup where I would get the message "Loading unusually long: log saved to Report-loading.toml" with the world loading stuck at 97%. I say random, but it was happening probably 4 out of every 5 attempts. Hello Gang! I'm trying to find a way to get ActiveSky FS to auto launch when I launch MSFS2024. Is this possible at all? I've tried adding the ActiveSky entry in the EXE.xml file to no avail. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for any insights.

Hi hopefully i can explain what i'm trying to do I have way too many controller profiles for my honeycomb bravo and I want to delete some of them, but i'm not sure which ones I want to delete and without going into every single profile or writing them all down and seeing them all at once I do not want to delete the wrong ones. Is there a way to view all the profiles and then choosing which ones to remove. I'm sure you used to be able to bring up the list from within the sim but perhaps I'm thinking of msfs 2020 thanks

Last week-ish, it was the T-38 Talon II by Aero Dynamics coming out a week before the Famous Flyer T-38A by BBS, and just now, we have the "KwikFlite" Not-an-SR-71 Archangel releasing today via inibuilds: The Aero Dynamics T-38A & C is honestly a great, Hi Fi addon. The BBS/MilViz version has yet to make an appearance at all (i'd probably get it just to support whoever made it, and their version in P3D was "chef's kiss"). This is my latest freeware with another small General aviation airport in Southern California: Corona Municipal is in Riverside county (CA) approx. 40 miles east of Los Angeles. It's an uncontrolled airport and is home to 300-350 general aviation aircraft. It's strictly a recreational airport with no commercial flights. Corona airport is well known because of its close proximity to aircraft shop "Aircraft Spruce". The A380 appears to be a AI or static scenery model, you can basically count the polygons and all the windows are flat textures, including the cockpit. I've been unable to find any info about this, but I find it incredibly annoying. I know the issue of losing focus with apps when you click on a second screen is not specific to Chaseplane, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a workaround? Some kind of hack? I use Stream Deck to select views, but the issue remains even when I use keyboard comands. Thanks.

After updating to FS2024 SU4 no longer are the positions of my instrument panels that I popped out to my secondary display being saved. Was a new option in SU4 added that need to be set to save panel positions and if so which option would that be? Or can panel positions after SU4 no longer be saved? Is FSDT ORD working in MSFS 2024 after SU4? I ask because prior to SU4 it was fine, but when I go in now, it loads the default. It is still in my community folder and i ran the FSDT installer. Am i missing something?

Hello, Does anyone have an afcad for this scenery that works with beyondatc traffic injection? The AI traffic doesn't work properly with the afcad supplied (I've reached out to the developer to enquire about a possible update with a fix for this issue, but received no response). Kinda sucks, because there are tons of commercial AI that typically spawn at the gates (when using beyondatc) but after receiving their clearance, nothing else happens. Landing ai traffic also disappear during the landing rollout. Any assistance would be appreciated, many thanks. Jermaine

I just installed MS2024. I have also downloaded MSFS Pop Out Panel 2024. I have used the 2020 version many times. I’m trying to pop out the EFB, and drag it to a small touch monitor. But I just can’t get it to pop out. It acts like it wants to, but never does. Anyone have any tips for me. Maybe some sort of tutorial. Thanks
