Hello, I bought and installed the new maddog today, and my exe.xml, is no longer loading. I reverted to the backup created by the Maddog installer and it's also not loading, so now I'm perplexed. Here are the two file contents: Post Maddog install: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="SimConnect" version="1,0"> <Descr>SimConnect</Descr> <Filename>SimConnect.xml</Filename> <Launch.Addon> <Name>FenixA320</Name> <Path>C:\Program Files\FenixSim A320\deps\FenixBootstrapper.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Add…

https://msfsaddons.com/2025/12/15/pmdg-releasing-the-737-800ng-this-week-for-msfs-2024/ 'After months of previews and careful expectation management, PMDG has finally put firm context around its upcoming Boeing 737-800NG for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. In a lengthy developer update published today, PMDG’s Robert Randazzo confirmed that the aircraft is now deep into the final stretch, with a provisional release date set for December 18, 2025, sometime after 17:00Z. This development update also offers a good picture of what this new 737 actually represents, with PMDG framing this release as more of a ground-up redevelopment intended to reset the 737 pr…

In MSFS 2020, I'm having a problem getting the autopilot to keep the plane on the glideslope. I set as the destination Logan Airport, Boston, runway 4R using the "world" page. After hitting "fly now", I setup the FMS to select runway 4R ILS. When I fly the plane manually, I do see the diamond shaped markers that indicate the plane's horizontal and vertical position relative to where it should be on the glideslope. It's just that I can't get the autopilot to do any control of keeping the plane on the glideslope. I did activate the autopilot by hitting the "ap" button and I did hit the "appr" button. And further, if I manually control the plane's altitude to …

After installing SU4 I no longer get any real-time online traffic. I haven't changed any of my graphic or online settings. Do any of you have an idea what I may be overlooking and how to get this real-time online traffic back? Thanks a lot for any help/ suggestions.

I have logged in to my regular account at PMDG, and tried to purchase the 737 for MSFS2024 - without success. I have repeatedly clicked to purchase now, but my cart stubbornly remains empty. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know of a solution? Are their servers overloaded, perhaps? Cheers, Brian

So I used to be an exclusively FS9 guy because my PC was never that powerful. A few years ago I went all in on P3D when I got a new PC but with the recent Win11 24H2/Aerosoft A320 P3D v5.4 issues, I'm ready to make the jump to MSFS2024. I am willing and able to buy payware aircraft and am looking for some advice on what to invest my time in for the full gamut of offerings: A318-A350 - Fenix and iniBuilds? B737 - 787 - PMDG? Any others for models they didn't offer? MD-11 - TFDI? B717 - TFDI or Captainsim? Concorde?

Does anyone fly this plane regularly? I like it but when I click on the autopilot switch it won't toggle on. It's completely dead. Is there a switch or something I need to depress beforehand?

I hope MS/Asobo will restore the accurate terrain to the FS2020 simulator that was in the simulator before the SU16 update. It is hard to think about continuing the simulator hobby if a very important part, the simulator terrain, is unclear. I have been a simulator flying enthusiast for over 40 years and would like to continue doing so.

I ordered a keyboard and stand for the iPad. This thing is pretty powerful by what i have read. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I was very careful when I set up MSFS 2024 to locate my community folders on a separate drive and I created a separate folder structure for all my ORBX scenery but when I wanted to fly tonight all my add-on aircraft (A2A, SWS etc) are all gone. I checked add-on linker and they are showing green. Where do I start getting my content back. It is now getting more of hassle managing 2024 that it was managing P3D

Just installed MSFS2024 but compared to MS2020 seems very washed out and overexposed - rather disappointing and unimpressive. Is there something I am missing here that the MSFS2024 enthusiasts on this forum are seeing but I am not? Thanks. Bruce

Looks like we are finally getting a solid DFW! About time…. https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/34992-inibuilds-scenery-development-update-december-2025 Announcing: iniBuilds Dallas Fort Worth (KDFW) Premium for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024! Which moves us nicely on to today's main topic, we are incredibly excited to formally announce our next major US project. We are heading to Texas to bring you Dallas / Fort Worth (KDFW)! This is a project we have been wanting to tackle for a long time. As one of the busiest airports in the world by aircraft movements, recreating the scale and complexity of Dallas is no small job. Work has been quietly underway beh…

Per an announcement on their forum. I guess they are going to offer an updated version of the MD-8X. I can't find anything that verifies if it is for both FS20 & 24 or just 24. As a customer, I really like this product. It's a fun airplane. I bought a sound set to go with it so the changes are going to have to be pretty significant for me to upgrade - the load manager is a little old school though. I'm also worried about repaints. There are lots on Flightsim.to, I have a feeling there will be far, far less for this new version.

I hope this is the right place to post this. I am long time simmer (FS4). Been on 2020 for about 2.5 years. My problem is I am trying to move over to 2024. The control bindings are very different from 2020. Also the settings menu is giving me fits. Every time I go into the sim, I have to reselect what profile I use. I also have to deactivate devices that I am not using. Example, for B777 I use spad so I have to deactivate the Bravo device. If I leave the sim & come back to the same plane, I have to deactivate the Bravo again. Very frustrated. Any suggestions.

The plane was easy to purchase, easy to startup, but when I was setting up a flight. I got a WASM crash. Maybe procedures have changed. I never crashed in 2020. However I get this is new. I will follow-up with status after I reboot. Try again...

I had bought Flytampa EHAM for MSFS 2020 and try to get it work on MSFS 2024 without any success. I have installed it via ORBX Central and it created a link, I also disabled the default EHAM under "my library" ins MSFS 2024, but the flytampa version is not even showing up under my library within MSFS. What is it that I do wrong?

I'm enjoying SU4 but its implementation has messed about a bit with some of my control settings. And I've had complete memory sweep over the year since initially setting up MSFS2024 best part of a year ago! My challenge is (should be) simple. I can't remember how to set up the controls to be able to start up, for example, the fabulous Black Square Baron - or any other piston twin - one engine at a time. I was pretty sure that I used to be able to highlight with the mouse, say, the left starter, and then scroll my mouse wheel to move from 'Off' to 'R' then 'L' then 'Both' and then to 'Start' and, pressing a second mouse button hold until the engine fired. I could…
