AIG Fruit Stand AI Models (777, A380)
Hello all, I am trying to install AIG AI traffic. As a couple of models it relies on reside on flightsim.com (now offline for who knows how long), namely the Fruit Stand models, I cannot install. I am wondering if anyone might have the aircraft folders they'd be kind enough to zip and share with me? I believe they the Fruit Stand models are the A380 and 777 variants. For example, in my AIGAIM - OCI\SimObjects folder, there is the following placeholder folders to put a model in: AIGAIM_TFS_B777-300ER. By the look of it, they are all start with AIGAIM_TFS... I won't need all the repaints., but if anyone is able to zip and share these folders, you'd make at least me and one or two others I've seen asking recently very happy! Any help would be much appreciated 🙂 🙂 Cheers, Rudy

FFTF Dynamic & Pilots Global Mesh 2024 worth getting?
Thank-you very much for your helpful replies, gentlemen. Will look into the mesh I think, I don't like rounded Himalayas! Coming to that - does the Tessellation setting have much effect on mesh appearance in your experience? In answer to the FFTF query - I do have an ancient steam-driven quad-core CPU (a 6700K @ 4.5 GHz), and coal-fired Nvidia 1080 GPU. Unfortunately, the extra baggage of doing the losless scaling just tips the performance in the opposite direction/gobbles too much VRAM on my system. I have contented myself with VSync 30Hz which I can maintain in 4K except in extreme situations (have LOD radius Ultra, Autogen draw medium or high, building density normal or dense, trees very dense). I apologise for the slightly tardy reply. I am grateful for this forum with knowledgeable chaps on it! Cheers, Rudy PS - anyone using low latency mode NVIDIA settings?

FFTF Dynamic & Pilots Global Mesh 2024 worth getting?
Hello all, I have two separate questions: Would I benefit from using FFTF Dynamic on my setup which is FPS unlocked in P3D, and VSynch @ 30Hz with Triple Buffering in P3D? Sometimes I get blurries after leaving a European airport for many hours of cruise over Orbx OpenLC Europe. I am wondering if this utility or any sort adjustment in my CFG could help? Secondly, has anyone any experience with Global Mesh 2024? It is not very specific on what level of detail it provides for various areas of the world. I see it improves upon the Alps somewhat, but I have always found overlying the "foothills" of the Himalayas in Afghanistan etc. a bit "soft" looking, even with Freemesh 2.0. Does anyone have any experience/comparison they'd care to share? Also - does this sort of mesh come at much of a performance cost? Many thanks for any insights you care to offer! 🙂 Cheers, Rudy

Anyone have SODE 1.7.1?
Thank-you both. Peter's suggestion of looking in the sceneries worked well - actually have four 1.7.1 installers lurking there, despite the Windows search (which is supposed to have indexed those folders) not mentioning that. Thank-you 🙂

Anyone have SODE 1.7.1?
Hello all, I am currently running SODE 1.8 on P3D 5.4. I have seen Virtuali and Ray mention some SODE problems with 1.8 - and would like to try 1.7.1 to see if it makes a difference with some choppy jetway loading that happens at FSDT airports from time to time. Don't recall always having this issue, and at some stage unbeknown to me, 1.8 has been installed (probably ORBX a while back - I seem to remember it kept trying to change it). Would any one have a copy of 1.7.1 they can share with me, as the 12bpilot site seems to be down/looking for some sort of login that it never did. @Ray ProudfootWhat problems have you experienced with 1.8? Thanks for any help you can offer! Kind regards, Rudy

Nvidia control panel settings
Hi Ray, I am not plagued by blurries (except in Western Europe near no particular airport from time to time for some reason) - just don't want to make the chance of them any worse! I am keen to know if the settings I mentioned are useful or could make performance worse basically. For the record, I have a 6700K @ 4.5 GHz (HT off), 16GB RAM, and a Nvidia 1080 (8GB) graphics card. Run 4K @ 30 Hz (lossless scaling no good for me - not enough GPU overhead to manage it) and I can generally happily maintain 30 FPS with careful settings here and there. Cheers, Rudy

Nvidia control panel settings
Hi all, What are you guys using in NCP? I have "Prefer maximum performance" But am wondering if... Texture filtering - ansiotropic sample option " " - negative LOD bias " " - trilinear optimisation Low latency option are recommended these days? A guide recommended them a while back, but am wondering about your experiences (especially if any these induce the dreade blurries). Thanks for any advice, Rudy

FBW A380 - should I upgrade and shift over finally?
Apologies, Pete! You did indeed give your specs - should have replied before I had the glass of wine! Thanks for the advice and your experiences with it.

FBW A380 - should I upgrade and shift over finally?
Thank-you gentlemen for your advice. Not sure about Pete, but Nils, your system is no slouch - and if your PC isn't coping well with it, then it must need a bit serious optimisation!

Fuel burn viewer?
One more post! Has anyone heard of an app that would display/export fuel burn from the current aircraft being flown? Am keen to make a profile for PFPX using test flights of an aircraft. I am a bit out of touch with the current state of utilities in the MSFS world. Cheers, Rudy

FBW A380 - should I upgrade and shift over finally?
Hello all, I am keen to give the whale a bit of a leg stretch one day. Currently, I am running an older system (6700K/1080/4K monitor) with P3D and the trusty PMDG 744/777/FSLA320. I am holding off upgrading my PC so as I don't upgrade "too early" and essentially have a new PC whose capabiltities I'm not actually using. Is the FBW A380 in a decent state for long-haul flying these days? I appreciate systems depth etc. (to a certain level - I don't often trigger multitudes of failures, but like to practise an EFATO or something like that every now and again). I am happy with the PMDG 747 and its features like auto step climb, the ability to save and reload a flight if the PC crashes or I have to leave the house for a while etc. I see the FBW A380 does not support save/reload - so is there any workaround to this? What are your thoughts generally on it? Any glaring issues? If I do upgrade my PC - it would likey be to something like an AMD 5800X3D and a 5900XTX graphics card. I run a 4K monitor, and generally use Vsync @ 30Hz so far for my flight simulation. Would such a combination support 30 FPS with the FBW A380/other payware addons into addon airports like LHR etc with MSFS2024? Any advice is much appreciated! Kind regards, Rudy

Congratulations, Maxime. I am very happy for you. Thanks for your good work that has made our sims more like the view you're going to see out of the window! Cheers, Rudy
