Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi! I reinstalled JF Turbo Arrow after I switched FS20 to FS24. I have not used Turbo Arrow for a good time. It flies nicely, the graphics do show their age but I can live with them. The real pain is the autopilot with its click spots. I know IRL Arrow has a very basic autopilot, but I still would like it to be more user friendly. Specially the VS-method drives me crazy. The manual says: "click the blank area to the right of the heading switch to toggle the vertical speed hold mode. Once engaged, vertical speed can be adjusted by moving your mouse over the vertical speed hold clickspot and rotating your mouse wheel." I do just that, but it is not working. My mo…

Just loaded up the premium gtn 750 in msfs2024 for the first time, and almost immediately ran into an issue: vnav automatically deactivates after about 5 seconds. at first it’s on, active, and accurate: …and then it disables on it’s own: Anyone ever run into this very annoying bug?

Hey everyone. I hope y'all had a nice summer. My usual routine is to spend as much time as I can boating on the Chesapeake Bay from April through October. This year, i went that entire time with no time in MSFS of either version. I started flying again about 2 weeks ago. It took quite a while to update everything in both sims. Lots of changes everywhere. There were new versions of the Fenix, the PMDG 737s. GSX, AIG, Navigraph, as well as both simulators. 2020, for the most part, ran pretty well right from the start. 2024, on the other hand was a stuttery, jittery, sluggish, mess. HI, I'm wondering why the maximum cruising speed for the Stock B60 and the Grand Dukes are higher than the never exceed speed in the user manual (page 13-14). Why is that?

I purchased some of the 'FS Birds' scenery addons in the MS2020 Market Place. They are listed as disabled in MS2024, but the 'enable' button is not present so I can't get them working. I bought one FS Birds region direct and that works fine in MS24. Any thoughts/advice on why there's no 'enable' option for these addons? The option is there for other MS20 purchases.

Genuine question as I've never inspected an aircraft after flight(!), but is the very cool wear & tear effect overly done in 2024? The props and engine housing in the first pics was after a mere 1hr flight in CAVOK conditions (i.e. no rain or anything). The final pic of the bug splats was after 40minutes flying at 5000agl mainly over the sea, it got "worse" as the flight went on which was cool but I could've done with a car racing style windscreen tear off as it was highly noticeable! Loving the effects, but are they a bit OTT for such short flights? (bug splats DA62, default MSFS24 aircraft)

Anyone having the old issue again where live weather in 2024 is just showing clear skies? I tried to load AS as well and got a "critical" error. Is this happening to anyone else? I am also using Atmos Core if that makes a difference

Out of a sudden I get a warning when I want to launch MSFS 2024: "Do you own this game ... error code 0x803f8001 ... " The links ended in a loop. I don't know what to do? Hi,I don’t remember if previous beta shows this issue,but with last fs2024 beta,every time I open EFB I can see a lot of ghost traffics around me,plus the online traffics as well. I’d deactivated all multiplayer options and on graphics section also all traffic and services on airports. Visually only can see online traffic when online on VATSIM,but not ghost traffics because only appears on EFB not visually. Would be possible all this ghost traffics are making a CPU demanding impact on my end???. Is it not possible to buy any of the local legends, originally published in MSFS 2020, that are currently in the Aviator pack on an individual basis? I have the premium deluxe edition and I am intrested in one or two local legends but not interested in buying the whole upgrade. There doesn't seem to be the option to do so in the marketplace in MSFS 2024. Any ideas?

Hi everyone. I see lots of folks in the forums flying jumbo jets. I feel confident that you are not all real world commercial pilots. So my question is: how did you learn to do that (just talking in flight sim, not real life)? Is there a good course that starts at the beginning and takes you through what you need to learn to be able to fly jetliners IFR? I don't know where to even start to get the skills I would need to enjoy flying the big guys in the sim. Thanks ..........

I had this before but do not understand it. All of a sudden MS2020 is asking me to sign in again but I cant because the login screen keeps changing the Focus to the X on the top left and I cant enter my user name? This is on steam with SU16. The ground roll at idle throttle is very fast, requiring continuous braking to manage the speed. Is this realistic behavior for the Baron?

I have a 1Gb fibre connection. When I try to load MSFS2024 from my UK location and IP address, I get a really poor server speed. However, when I use my VPN and pretend to be in North America, wham, instant download of everything pretty much. Anyone else experiencing dire server speeds to the UK?

Does anyone use Real Turb v2? If so, is it an improvement for turbulence in the sim or is it a scam? Thanks

I already adjusted the content.xml because Navigraph was causing a double runway. Even after I have done that though, and even with Navigraph uninstalled, I have double buildings at LFRJ. I have disabled my entire community folder apart from France VFR Nord-Ouest MSFS, which is the package which contains LFRJ. This would lead me to believe a MSFS version of the airport is interfering, but wheh I search for LFRJ in the MSFS "official" folder, there is no result. Any ideas where this second version is coming from, why France VFR hasn't excluded it, and how i can fix it? TIA.

Rockstar Games announced delay of the GTA6 release back to NOV26. As @sherv_BBS said in the last dev update, Bluebird's 757 will be released before GTA6. I have an RTX 3070ti graphics card. I downloaded and installed DLSSG to FSR3 from Nexus. There were no problems with the installation (I had to delete the Nvidia app). As you can see below, there are lags etc. and the same continues while flying.
