On the longhaul aircarcft how do I get the jetway to select door 2L?

I installed the new iniBuilds KJFK released today. Nice addon. It has so much custom scenery. I'd like to explore the airport and go inside the control tower. I can't figure how to change elevations in drone mode. I watched so many videos of how to go left right and pitch up and down, but how do I climb?

Dear All, All of a sudden, MSFS has been very difficult to get going. When I start it up, it crashes during the first few screens - sometimes it just crashes just after I have launched it. I've had no recent additions, and I've tried with nothing in my Community folder. If I persist, eventually (after about 10 attempts), it gets to the update page and then there's no issues. May I ask if anyone else is having the same issue and if you have, may I ask how you fixed the problem? Best regards, Peter Keenan

So, dumb question inbound. I have only been on MSFS since last October. I have been strictly GA and Corporate type flying. I am now starting in commercial ops. I fly only on Vatsim. I see that you call jetways in MSFS via the ATC menu and tuning ground? But if one does not use the default MSFS ATC and does not use GSX (had it in P3D, don't care for it anymore), how does one call for the jetways to connect / disconnect from the aircraft? I have FSCrew Pushback for that part of the operation, just wondering on the jetway part? Thank you

Hi Ever since SU12 I regularly get kicked into offline mode with due to low bandwidth. But every time I do a download speed test I get 120mbps Is it a known issue or anything I can do about it. I'm in the UK if that makes any difference

As always very late to the show, I would love to try MSFS, but I believe there is no trial (as in Xplane). Is it worth even considering spending $60 to run MSFS on my 10+ years old pc? I7 4770K (3.5 GHz) 16G memory GTX 1660 Ti (6G) I read it works quite well on old hardware, but mine is maybe bit too old. Still I remember seeing similar specs in some of your signatures. I would be satisfied with default aircraft/scenery (at least for the time being) and with fps around 20. I have single monitor 24'' 1920x1200 Any advice? Daniel

When you initially open the World Map, what determines the zoom setting? I'd like to change the initial zoom level but have not found how to do that yet. In the lower left of the screen, the "WORLD MAP ZOOM OUT/WORLD MAP ZOOM IN clickspot does not seem to do anything, but the NM____- + on the lower right does change the zoom level, as does the mouse wheel, but not permanently. Is there a setting in a cfg or ini file somwhere that sets the initial zoom level? Thanks for any suggestions, Al

Hi. Ever since the New Zealand update my MSFS 2020 will not load. It freezes on the activities screen and the blue, loading progress bar. takes ages to get to the end, then nothing. It's been like this for weeks, unuseable. This also happened on a previous update, but within a few days there was a critical update which solved the problem. There is nothing in my community folder, that isn't the problem. Can anybody please advise.

Hi A few days a go MSFS stopped loading into the main menu. Nothing changed that I'm aware of, but right at the end of initial loading towards the main menu the program just hangs. I have tried using an empty community folder but the issue still happens. It's been happening since yesterday 11/04 Any advice?

Hi all, I am using the PMDG 737-800 together with FS2Crew. Whenever I am on final approach and try do disconnect the autopilot, my FO always re-engages it (he says "CMD A"). I was always doing a standard CAT I ILS approach, was stable and properly configured. Obviously I'd like to try some other types of approaches in the future, such as RNAV and Visual approaches, but am unsure if I'll be able to hand fly the aircraft with FS2Crew.. Otherwise it has been working flawlessly and I am really pleased with the addon. Does anyone know if this is just a bug or if it's a specific issue. The meteoblue-based weather is pretty amazing. For those of you with a decent airliner, try a Qantas flight out of Port Hedland (YPPD) at a heading of 60-ish degrees. This will take you directly into the eye of a Category 5 cyclone. The Meteoblue app on iOS is also pretty cool, try the wind model page for an excellent visual representation of cyclonic winds.

Hello. For over two weeks I've been trying to get someone in the CaptainSim Support forums to guide me where or how I can get the ACE utility to download and install textures for their Boeing 767-300 ER but no one seems to care. I bought their aircraft and wanted to install some textures. I understand I need ACE but I have no idea how to activate it. I just bought their 777-200 model hoping to find it there but I still don't see it. Can someone here help me please?. Many thanks.

Unusual problem and its solution: MSFS got stuck every time at 80% loading screen despite empty Community folder Never seen that before: MSFS suddenly always got stuck during initial blue progress bar loading up to ca. 90% without having changed anything in MSFS whatsoever. I have MSFS2020 in my Xbox app on my windows laptop. It runs very well but I’m wondering if I will be able to add things like VATSIM and mods to the game. I know that on Xbox you cannot add Vatsim, but I was wondering if that is different because I am operating on a windows laptop, and using the Xbox app to get to MSFS 2020. Thank you for the help.
