Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, does anyone know why I have seen some folks on YouTube with their speed and alt in the FMC on each waypoint...I have filled all the fields in the FMC but when I check my waypoints there are barley any alt restrictions and never have I seen speeds. What could I be doing wrong. I also do import from simbrief.

Hi, sometimes my controls just dosnt responds during TO roll . (MaddogX,KBOS 33L , winds from 290/10G20) I tried the new DX12 but i recall having seing this also in DX11 . Anyone else experience this ? After a reload on 33L setting up the plane again i manage to get in the air but the aircraft heavily was moving towards the Gates and at 80 knots suddenly the rudder came to live Thanks Michael Moe

No Maule M7 on PC (whoops) but Big Radials' Noorduyn Norseman is out instead for your rugged bush flying needs. So far I've spotted it on Big Radials own store and OrbX and there might be others as well.

I've installed the 3rd instalment and just flown the Porter on the Eastern shores of the UAE (OMKH to OMDI) and found all the pylons and towers that make departure and arrival so ... interesting 😉. So thanks ! BTW great scenery there for bush flying, from Oman to the Northern tip of the peninsula. Rugged and dry mountainous terrain.

I know current state of MSFS it doesn't allow for fully realistic WX radar, but to me it's better to have basic than none. WX radar still adds immersion factor. Take a look below

I'm in the TBM930. On my PFD is says FMS TERM so it won't follow the flight plan. Shouldn't there be a CDI button to change to ENR? There is nothing so I'm having to fly by heading the whole

I have created a flight plan in Pilot2atc. I hit the save button and it wants me to save it as a VBflight file. I don't know where to export it to for me to get MSFS to load it.

The question is clear: Can you notice Frame generation is on when using TAA? How does it look? Are any screen areas looking worse despite the double frame rate? Speaking about 1440p here, not 4K. And what about in case of low fps? Let's say you go from 30 fps without FG to 60 fps... Some reviews suggest it works well only in the 100+ fps range. Thank you.

I have noticed that with both default and payware sceneries of Fairbanks Alaska that when looking east towards Fairbanks town/city that there is a sudden short drop in fps by about 20 to 30 fps causing a major stutter fest which lasts for only a few seconds. I don't have any Fairbanks city mods installed, I only have Orbx Alaska Mesh. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have a few but my fav is the fluidity of the weather. IOW it doesn't just POP in. Adds alot to the immersion factor. Cheers sp

Look at these 2 photos after installing ORBX KSEA from BMWorls/AMSim. It seems the 2 control towers merged into one and the runway markings are corrupt. Any Advice. BMWorld/AMSim has no forum to ask. ORBX forum won't post my requests!!

After countless testing and reboots I think I found the culprit causing the error which only started happening after the update to SU 1.31.22. It's reproducible in my setup. Depending in your point of view, the error is caused by the new upgrade in MSFS, the old 1070ti GPU, or a setting in the nVidia GPU driver. In my case, that setting is the "4x Sparse Grid Supersampling" set in the nVidia Inspector app used to get rid of shimmering in Prepar3d.

I purchased Bijan's Seasons a while ago. Based on the advertising, REX AccuSeason appears to be a more complete product. Do you consider REX to be significantly better than Bijan's product?

I'm looking for some instrument approaches that require dual VORs, or maybe a VOR and independent RMI. Are there any left, anywhere? For example, a localizer or VOR approach where a step down fix is identified by a intersecting VOR radial. Thanks, Al

I’m planning to get this new monitor " 32" G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor With 1000R Curved Screen( 165Hz HDR AMD FreeSync (2020) " I have a GTX 1080 ti card and I’m wondering if this would be a good match together for msfs 2020 ? CPU intel I7 960 and 32 Gig MEM If not, which monitor would you suggest for 144Hz and 165 Hz?

Every time when the engines are shutdown there is somekind of reloading taking place. Already disabled the appearance of the logbook and now this. Is it me ? Anyone noticed this ?

Hello, I dont know when they are finally going to remove that message at all and how hard it can be for a professional programming team at Asobo to do so. But the "connection lost" message recently started to render my sim unusable. It pops up and I have no mouse cursor to click "ok", so usually i have to press esc to bring the menu up, then i can click it, usually. But currently, for some reason, after doing so my sim is in active pause. I hear my planes engines, i can use view and sim controls, but nothing moves. Pressing the active pause key or trying to use the flow script assigned to that function changes nothing. Only thing i can do to get out is quit MSFS…

Everything is working fine after a new motherboard upgrade with the exception of one thing. After going back to Steam and uninstalling MSFS and then installing to a new drive, MSFS is somehow reverting back to the old drive where it no longer resides. As a result the old version starts up and then crashes part way through. I thought it may be a registry problem but that checks out. Has anyone else had this problem ? Any help will be much appreciated.
