Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Good evening, So today i decided to install and fly the FBW 320 again after being absent for some time. But i have great problems controlling it during taxi. It's all set up as per FBW's documentation (Thrustmaster A320 stick/ Rudder/tiller not separated) but it gets out of contoll immediately when trying to turn. Lets say i'd like to do a slight left turn, i gently turn the tiller left but the plane first starts veering to the right for about 10 degrees and then suddenly slams to the left ending in a constant overcorrection. Hi, When i start the MSFS from the Xbox app in W10 it just loads for about 30 seconds and then just CTD . This also happens with an empty community folder. I havent change anything that i am aware off. I have been getting a double bleep intermittently when using FS2020. Perhaps every 20 minutes or so. It is neither a USB disonnecting and reconnecting, nor keys being pressed which are the solutions a Google search threw up. I thought it was related to Nvidea experience, so I have uninstalled everything Nvidea related in the control panel except the Nvidea graphics driver. I do still have Nvidea control settings installed. Any ideas what this is, and how to get rid of it?

Hi, can anyone with this scenery confirm whether they can use Gate B17 (widebody gate) as I can’t spawn on it or use GSX on it, but the flightsim.to GSX profile does contain it. I have the Marketplace version and know that it’s missing due to not being in the Navdata file but I also tried the non-Marketplace unencrypted .bgl from the FlyTampa forum with GSX in traditional (not SU12 Navdata API) and it still doesn’t show up. thanks David

If so, why isn’t the battery charging, both alternators are on and working (as you can see the other instruments are on). Very strange.

Haven't seen this in many months now, bigtime stuttering upon final approach, and it's happened several times now post SU12 install. What's really odd on this last flight is CPU load (RTSS, so actually lower than what this OSD displays) is low 70%, and GPU was around mid 60's (typical here) until on final approach then GPU utilization when well down into the low 30-40% range and w/ massive stuttering could barely land the plane. No new GPU drivers, no other changes to the sim and how I operate it. So I had removed most all potential culprits from the Comm Folder just prior to this flight from KSLC because the same thing happened last night in the same plane (PMDG 738) …

Small thing perhaps but I find it a pain scrolling through aircraft to find the one I want, especially when the aircraft is sometimes sorted by developer name rather than aircraft type. Nothing to do with me, but I spotted it on Discord and bought it straight away. Will be trying it today.

I have a problem with getting back to the start menu to create a new flight when I finish a flight and want to create a new flight! The start menu seems to hang and I have to use the activity manager in Windows to quit the simulator and start up again! Recently got a new computer, and loaded Steam. Selected MSFS and redownloaded the planes I had purchased. Sim was working fine until I had updated various system drivers. Then I couldn't start the sim and would get a fatal error questioning if my hardware could support this app. Couldn't go any further. Tracked it down to GPU driver not showing up in Device Manager. Any how I corrected that problem and can now load the sim ok. Now the problem: When I start the sim (through Steam), it loads ok up to where the screen shows the Welcome, Profile, and Options tabs. Hello passionate simmers! I have just started the development of Marble Canyon (L41) in Arizona. This very small field is an unbelievable opportunity to land our light aircraft right into the Canyon! And you can depart from Page, KPGA a recent free release of mine, just 5 minutes away with your C172. Greetings, My MSFS has been working perfectly when I click on the MSFS icon on my desk top. Today, when I tried to open the sim I got the MS Gaming Services app. When I go to my library in the app my MSFS programs are listed in games. When I try to run MSFS from there I get the Gaming Services app in a continuous loop. I have no idea why this sudden problem surfaced. Can someone please help me figure what is going on here? Having spent some time with this aircraft, I am still battling an autopilot bug. Has anyone else run into this? When first engaging the autopilot, I get a runaway trim situation. The elevator trim starts running up at a rapid pace. After disengaging the autopilot and returning the trim to neutral, and engaging the autopilot a second time, I get a slower trim runaway situation. After doing this twice, I can engage the autopilot without the trim running away. After this, the autopilot seems to operate fine. So, for now, either I can engage/disengage the autopilot twice on the ground as part of the pre-flight checklist, or I can fight this in the air... Is there a …

I was about to buy a Black Square Bonanza and happened to run across something in the user's manual. It says you have to turn the AP with the heading bug to keep the CDI centered. What is this all about? Every add-on I've had in previous sims using the RXP 530/430 and 750 drove the CDI needle and you just had to bug-up the heading like any other aircraft on AP. Using the HDG bug was simply a formality in case the AP kicks off. What are they talking about here? The TDS won't slave to the CDI and turn the needle in NAV mode?? You shouldn't have to do anything in NAV mode but monitor.

Hi, I have noticed on some recent approaches that I am getting a message in magenta - reading LDG INHIBIT. Everything seems to be OK - but I assume that it cannot be because of the message. What does it mean and what are the possible causes of it appearing? - and thus what do I need to do, if anything, to not have it showing.

hi all, I'm new to the forum and I wanted to know if by chance anyone has happened that with the Darkstar in real time mode the eas speed disappears making it impossible to get to mach 10, I have to use a preset mode like sky mode calm to ensure that there is no this problem, can someone more informed than me tell me if some third-party creator intends to create another Darkstar or maybe Asobo decide to solve it, because this problem has been going on for a year

After the last update I'm getting an absolute stutterfest with frame generation activated. This was supersmooth before at 60 fps capped. I already reinstalled the graphics driver, deactivated all sceneries but without success. That's definetively on Asobos side. Interesting fact: when I position a window of another programm (i.e. explorer) over msfs, the sim in background is smooth. When closing the explorer and msfs is in front, the stutterfest continuous. Now I have to revert back to DX11 and vsnyc with 50% monitor refresh rate with such an gpu.

When I save a flight plan when using Navigraph Charts it seems the version of the selected approach that is saved often does not include the selected approach IAF or transition, but rather it is the version of the approach with "Final" as the selected transition that is saved. Is this by design, or perhaps do I need to do something different? Thanks, Al

I have noticed recently that many of my installed addon airport sceneries from various Dev;s have uneven ( wobbly) taxiways and aprons , some are worse than others , iam in dev mode at the moment , and was using the black square taxi sign thing so uninstalled it thinking it could be that , but no , the terrain elevation issue is still there , i do have installed GSX, FS traffic + FSTL, FS2Crew RAAS Pro , Fenix , Navigraph charts etc ( full subscription), Fsuipc 7, and just one or two freeware airports . its starting to get annoying now lol , anyone get this too ?

Why is ASOBO not collecting CTD info automatically ? I have spend weeks and weeks to figure out why CTD's happen. New PC , fresh install, drivers, C++ renewed etc. etc. etc. etc, etc, e,tc ,etc ,etc , Now the CTD's are there after a full flight just before de-boarding (could be an GSX issue) But the info in the logfiles tells me nothing !!!!!!! I am sure that if ASOBO could debug the program on my PC they will find the issue. In other words why not give us beter info and errors in the log when a CTD's happen. Right now the only thing left is to abandon MSFS and never look back.

I bought the CS 767-300ER 4D and 6D models from the marketplace. I went on to flightsim.to, to download some textures that are pretty much straight forward and easy to install. I've tried so many and for some reason, it's not working for me with CS models. When buying any planes from msfs, it loads into the official folder but you can move it to the community folder on which I did. Do you have any suggestions on how to make this work?
