I just purchased MSFS 2020. Before I launched MSFS 2020 via GamePass. My question is do you need GamePass to launch it? Or can you create a shortcut and run it directly without GamePass? Right now through the Xbox Gamepass it is trying to upgrade in GamePass and it is giving me an error 0x87e00196. Thanks!

I need a photo which I should have taken of the CH Pro Pedals opened up so I can see where to mount the circuit board and the Potentiometer I have replaced. I thought it was in the online video. But the presenter didn’t have a side view so I could not see specifically where to mount those the circuit board and Potentiometer casing. Also I have a Windows 7 Laptop that detected the USB drivers, I would like to test the pedals while the case is still open. I am not sure the potentiometer setting in terms it setting via the knob. It looks like if you get it lined up, I should be good. Thats why I need a picture. Thanks

On EHRD is see a lot of planes departing and taxi to the runway. They line up but never depart. They stay on the runway until it's removed by the injector. Any idea if this is a FSLTL issue or a MSFS issue ?

Has anyone dealt with MS Store issue that results in "Something happened on our end"? Was doing the MSFS store latest upgrade last night. Screen indicated download was complete. But now MSFS does not start and no other MS Store app will start. In the Store page it opens and shows several programs with updates available, every one I try results in " something has happened on our end". Also under the apps menu in the task bar several of those apps have what look like white progress bars underneath. This happened last night but was still happening this morning. Just installed msfs. installed the Plug in and my switch panel, Radio Panel, Auto pilot and Yoke all work. However I cannot get any of my flight instrument panels to work. Cant find any specific software to instal for them Any thoughts. I am on windows 11 ? Many thanks

I just finished a KBOS to EGLL flight with FSLTL. I left KBOS with lots of traffic both on the ground and in the air. On arrival at EGLL (inibuilds), not a single aircraft on the ground, taxiing, taking off, landing etc. It was a complete ghost airport. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

Expert Series I: ATR 42-600 / 72-600 - Microsoft Flight Simulator / Official Feedback - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums Not great - but its really quite a cheap addon which makes it more reasonable. Not a buy for me, but I'm sure some will really enjoy it. Hope this helps a bit with others when deciding whether or not to buy.

I have an engine health issue with the BlackSquare Analog Bonanza. It seems that with every landing my engine health drops 2%. 1% is removed during rollout/taxi and the other when I shut down the engine. My guess is that I let the engine cool down too fast but I am unsure how to prevent that. During descent I set the mixture to full rich and try to gently pull down the throttle (to about 8 gal/h fuel flow. I can use more throttle after landing but then I have to ride the brakes. Anyone know how it is done?

FS2020 shows marketplace unavailable and content manager does not show any deleted items, of which there are many Login is correct with Xbox and sim loading ok except for the package dependency box I get each time , which I do not allow to make changes Logbook is current any ideas?

Did a flight to several locations in Alaska, ended up at this airport only to find no airport buildings. Is this anyone else's experience? Trying to make sure it's not just a unique conflict with something else. Bryan

Hi I'm trying to buy the ATR but MSFS seems to think I live in the USA - I live in the UK. Selected the Download and Buy option. Asks for my Windows Authentication PIN which I entered - why is that needed?? Selected Pay by Credit Card and entered my card details It then asks for my address, but will only allow United States as the Country and asks for State (all US States) and ZIP code. So can't get any further. I've bought from the Marketplace before without any issues. Anyone seen this before and how did you fix it. Paul

Regarding the fantastic Vision Jet G2, I have 2 questions: how do you set cruising altitude? (i’m able to do that in another addon with the g3000) how do you enable VNAV? i’ve clicked the button on the touchpad but it’s not appearing in the MFD. image971×988 112 KB

I just got an email from Microsoft with a link to a 15 minute survey on the sim. Check your inboxes but note that selection is random.

It is in the dark screen mode. (background is black, the words are white). I can't read anything in darkscreen mode unless changing my windows display settings. So I have to display the whole desktop in 200% to make it big enough to read. If it had a light screen mode, then normal 100% windows display would allow for very easy reading for me. Obviosly most of you can read the letters on the app below just fine. I can't. I could if there was a light screen mode. The Stream Deck Discord channel says I have no permission to post, so I can't ask there. I just joined Discord an hour ago to ask there.

From what I've read, WU13 should arrive today (unless any last minute delays occur, so from this afternoon (usually 1500Z) we can expect an upgrade of Oceana, Hawaii and Antarctica. Looking forward to flying in a few new areas for me over the next few weeks and particularly hoping that Hawaii will be improved terrain wise (I think we are getting a new PNHL airport though not sure what else). Don't forget to delete your caches, rename your community files, make sure your versions of Windows along with your drivers are all up to date, etc. (OK, I know some of you don't bother) and hope you all have a happy and succesful update day.

Not sure if these changes are due to WU 13 because I haven't checked in a while and have also recently installed the latest nVidia driver. 1) My 5900x was always about 10% but now is 20-25% 2) My 3060TI was always 100% but now hovers around 55-60%. 3) My VRAM seems to be locked at 83% Note that I locked my VSYNC at 60fps in the sim with a LOD of 200. Anyone else notice any similar changes? BTW I'm happy with what I'm seeing now. Cheers sp

Greetings all! After this latest update, GeForce Experience no longer launches. Therefore, I can't use it to take screenshots and the filters I had set up to adjust brightness, colors, contrast...are no longer applied. Any suggestions on how to get it running again with the sim? Edit: I managed to get the in-game overlay working again. However, when I attempt to use the Game Filter, I get a message "A supported game is required to use this feature". Edit x 2: Got it sorted. Reinstalled my Nvidia drivers. Regards, Scott

I am getting tired of seeing some of my multiplayer buddies who fly in a P38, show up as an airliner when we fly together. Short of me purchasing the P38, is there any way to alias this plane to some default aircraft, like a Baron?

How do you position the camera somwhere useful in slew mode? What am I missing here? No matter where I position the camera as soon as I hit "Y" to engage slew mode the camera jumps right behind the aircraft with that cretinous fish-eyed nonsense and won't let me move it. I need to see the nose wheel to position the aircraft where it should be at the gate. It's the only reason I want to use slew mode and it is preventing me from doing it. Surely I'm missing something here. I must be. 😆 They wouldn't lock this out given the obvious reasons for using it in the first place.

Hi guys, I really don't understand why the sim has to make models invisible when reaching 1000 simobjects on the scene. I basically cannot fly to London or Paris without having trouble if I use GSX. I already disabled the GSX ground clutter, but the real problem are the trucks around every single AI plane. There is no way to remove them and for every aircraft there are like 5 trucks, which means that 50 aircraft on ground create additional 250 simobjects at least. An enormous and unavoidable waste of space. Do you know any way I can keep my AI with a decent number of planes and avoid this tedious bug? Do you think Asobo will remove the limit?
