Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I have the SceneryTR new Istanbul Airport, and I am not seeing any Traffic at the airport, neither at the gates nor on the runways. I use Aerosoft Simple Traffic, which works great for my purposes at every other airport. Any ideas as to how to get the traffic to populate at LTFM? Cheers, Pete

Hi I just brought a new PC to run MSFS properly, but as time goes on during a flight there is a slight stutter or lag (starting within a few minutes of being in the world) to significant lags to stutters making it unplayable on final approach and after landing. I've been using the trial. Honest opinion is I'm not entirely sure this is a must have like I saw somewhere on here. What does everyone else think? Is it because I mostly fly Jets (737/A320) that I'm not completely sold? Is this add on more for general aviation? I think what I was most interested in was the turbulence camera movements but MSFS already has almost zero. All my approaches are smooth so the effect doesn't do anything. thoughts?

Inibuilds KJFK Could someone confirm if in your rigs with MSFS2020, you manage to see the terminal through the fog?. It is not seen in its entirety but in parts and affects several areas. Thanks for taking the time to check and report. The screenshot was taken at threshold of runway 13L, with visibility reduced by fog but It can also be seen from the air.

To go with SU12 release the long awaited AT Simulations AN-2 is FINALLY available. Features 4 versions, wheeled, float and ski versions with old school cockpit and wheeled version with GPS. First impressions are good - excellent visuals, not seeing many INOP switches, working circuit breakers on the GPS Avionics panel. GPS version only has a single livery but I imagine that will change quickly enough - cockpits are labelled in Russian as well as you'd expect so if you aren't familar with that you will be relying on tool-tips at least in the short term plus the instruments are m/km based.

After every update a list of not installed is created. They are all identified as community. Unlike the update available list. You cannot select all and install them. At least I have not found a way do to this. What does that list mean? How do I install them? Or do I just ignore them. Thanks to all who reply. Bill McCracken

I was watching a video using the JMB VL-3. The author stated that MS removed the autopilot feature and that he put it back. That is my question. How do you put the autopilot in the VL-3?

I purchased this aircraft a few days ago and having spent the last few days flying it, I'm very impressed. It is the first GA aircraft I've flown in the sim that feels 'alive' in the way a DCS aircraft does. Just looking through the manual at the huge number of things that can go wrong is intimidating. The sounds, the way the engine responds, the whole thing is incredibly atmospheric. I believe it has replaced the 310r top spot for me. What are other peoples thoughts on it?

It is a monitor screen too running off of HDMI as well as a controller with dials and buttons running off USB of course. So, if your CPU has a built in GPU then run this second monitor from the motherboard HDMI out and the main monitor(s) from the GPU board. This keeps fps high when you drag a window from the main screen to the other monitor. Which you must do in order to run this G1000 panel by Flight Sim Builder. If your CPU doesn't have a built in GPU, then the fps drop would be substantially higher when dragging a window from on monitor to the other. It's easy to predict the fps drop without yet having the G1000 panel. Just pop out the G1000 panel from MSFS…

Hi, after a MSFS reinstall i lost my flightplans so i am dowloading them again. I noticed some airliners like Spirit doesnt download and the folder doesnt contain a Spirit flightplan. This happens for alot Airlines. Is this a glitch ? I recall having lots of spirits in vegas. Also what is MSFS SU12 traffic settings these days with AIG? I nornally fly on Vatsim and noticed a complete VRM AIG file to match on fltsim.to Thanks Michael Moe

Which plane is better overall for vfr sight seeing and closer to study level?

I've been getting ad from LVFR concerning their Airbuses. I already own the Fenix model. Should I consider this plane? I know they do a great job making airports, but how are they at developing Aircraft?
