Looking to get this airport for a video production. Is one developer vastly superior? Comments about the level of detail/performance/issues?

I finally installed FSLTL with the FBW installer and injector. I turned off the in-sim AI traffic and have a nice amount of traffic around me, based on my percentage requirements I selected. However, I often have a plane or two just flying above the airfield aimlessly. I just landed at KCPR and some nondescript regional or biz-jet was flying 1,000 feet AGL back and forth above the field. The other day I had a Cessna 172 just buzzing KABQ. Is there something I need to adjust to get rid of this??

Hey all, These are in the Black Square Bonanza: https://imgur.com/a/VBw1rJE At the top left of the dash. It looks as though the left button is the same as the CDI button on the GPS - so presume its a remnant from before a more advanced GPS with built in CDI button existed? Is this wrong? How about the GPS/APR button on the right with 'ATM' and ACTV'? This doesn't seem coupled to the autopilot, but I could be wrong. I've skimmed the manual for the aircraft and could find a reference to almost everything except these!

I'm considering a full reinstallation of MSFS. The only reason I feel a little but reluctant are my profiles for Honeycomb devices, the configuration of which took me quite a long time. So, is it possible to back them up somehow and restore after the clean install? I use Steam version. Thanks for any clues.

Two days ago, shortly after departing on an EGLL-LTFM flight with the Fenix, my FPS suddenly dropped to 1-2FPS. Closed out the sim, restarted. 1-2FPS again with the GPU load at 100%. Tried the following: Empty Community folder Resinstalled Nvidia Drivers (left everything vanilla in NCP Emptied Nvidia DX Cache and DL Cache folders Restarted MSFS. Same story. 1-2 FPS - 100% GPU load Then I ran a GPU stress test using MSI Kombuster in 4K. That seemed fine. 64FPS Two days later, had some time to fly this morning. But same issue. I'm asking because since ATC TOD calculation is always off, I tried to play without it, but this leads to other negative effects like not being given ILS approaches, having to "ignore weather", and overall it is not really immersive. The other option would be, I guess, to completely turn off ATC, but then, I would get no taxi ribbon, and risk colliding with the AI. Or, and it is where I'm leaning right now, give ATC another chance but descend at a slower rate since I know the TOD will be well in advance than what it needs. There is also third party ATC I could use I suppose, but I'm not sure if they interact really well with the sim AI planes? What do you wonderful com…

For sone reason, the HAT switch on my CH yoke has stopped functioning. And I'm trying to reassign it to use as a free look around in the cockpit and externally, to be able to pan the camera view freely. But when I try and scan for the input, all I get is the individual POVs like POV -> or POV <- Does anyone know how this should be correctly assigned?

Hi Guys, I've looked through so many of the stutter threads here and on Flight Sim tech support till I'm blue in the face. but cant find any that specifically address or at any rate provide a solution for a persistant stutter, on average about once every three seconds or so while absolutely still on sparse ground in the middle of Australia. You can see the spike there and it drops the FPS down about 3 FPS every spike. I have deliberately curtailed as much as I can so that the CPU is hardly breathing and I am being limited by GPU but in the green. Many to most have had varying degrees of this since launch, but prior to SU12 I rarely to never experienced this since my optimizations done in 12/2022, which began with a Win 10 and MSFS reinstall, and morphed into other changes as described ad nauseum here. Yesterday, I did KSLC>KLAS (FlyTampa) in the PMDG 738 and had modest stuttering from maybe 5 miles before touchdown so was acceptable though still a loss of the nirvana previously experienced for 3 months straight. Hi there, Our custom-built implementation of VNAV Version 1 is now on our Development version! Pilots now have vertical guidance in managed modes in all phases of flight alongside appropriate visual indicators on the ND and various available predictions in MCDU. We also added a quality of life pause at T/D feature. While we do still have features for VNAV yet to come, a huge thanks is in order for a team-wide effort to finally bring this out of testing. Hello all, I have been looking at some of the beautiful and probably very time consuming to create airports. I am interested in the opinions of those who use them. Do you prefer only to purchase your home or favorite airport or do you have multiple airports. Are the base airports in msfs good enough if you just fly in and shut it down or do the addons increase the immersion that much more to justify the purchase. Thanks Phill Dant

My W11 had VBS deactivated though. Flytampa ybbn with city installed ,PG on, or off don’t make a difference tested any heavy aircraft FBW a320 etc latest nvidia driver and also previous 2 7950x3d 3080ti 32gb ram Settings set to mostly ultra with a few exceptions to shadows. gpu usage 11 out of 12 i then set all settings to medium or below same result 11gb of vram used Out of 12. in both dx11 and dx12. Dozens of flights since April 30. Each one shuts down and the Sim shows me the log book entry but it is always for a flight I made on April 30, 2023. I've tried ASOBO planes and 3rd party planes but always the same result. I see many reports of this problem in the official bug reports but no resolution and no new reports in the last year. Not a big deal - but any suggestions?

Wow, this is big news and I think it deserves its own thread. Working Title is fixing the 787 for MSFS in AAU2. The 747 is also being fixed. Quality Wings could have racked up a lot of sales in MSFS because the 787 that came with the Premium Deluxe version of MSFS just wasn't good. But hey, you snooze, you lose. I look forward to a better 787 and better 747 in MSFS!

Can this be done. If memory serves me correct, I could do this in the old FSX days. Or maybe this is just wishful hoping on my part?

I have all AI turned OFF in Options - Traffic because I use FSLTL for traffic injection. One thing I have noticed recently when I load a flight at any airfield there are always several parked aircraft with real world liveries. This happens before I have even started FSLTL and selected Start from the FSLTL Injector. Where do these aircraft come from?

I rarely ever make my way out to Canada in the sim and I was lucky to get a flight out to Calgary in the SimbitWorld. Any cool places to check out in the Rockies out there?
