Hi guys...just a quick question. I'd like to take the DA62 for a few flights and was wondering if the DA62 mod found on .to is still a thing or is the stock model more up to date? Best regards, Tom

I just saw this article about the new v0.4.0 Headwind A330 at FSElite: https://fselite.net/content/headwind-a330neo-updated-to-v0-4-0-for-msfs/ So, how is the new v0.4.0 Headwind A330 now?

Hi there, The A380 is an uncommon, huge kind of a plane… One wing is around 50 tons alone, and full of fuel it can reach around 150 tons. Yes, that’s more than the weight of two A320s… for each wing… For such an unusual mass of fuel and metal, we are experimenting with a new wing flex system from scratch, that can simulate the bending of the wing all along its length, with possible different resonance modes from the root to the tip. Each fuel tank has its own mass and position in the wing, and will drastically affect the wing physics, along with the position of each control surface. There’s still a lot of work to do, and the wing model is being reworked for…

The SIM is a revolutionary product with constant updates. But there are still many features missing which could bring more realism into the sim. I am personally missing the following things: 1) Rain effect. No matter how heavy rain/snow is you can easily taxi, approach without the wipers on. It ruins the feel unfortunatelty... 2) Landing lights do not illuminate the clouds enough. Unfortunately, not all the cloud layers are illumintated when we pass through. Usually when you get inside a cloud at night you cannot see anything in front, just in some cases the clouds are lit. But in reality the light is reflected from any cloud. That riuns the feel... 3…

A while ago i contacted asobo support because of a very annoying MSFS UI issue regarding the "connection problem" popup message. I also up-voted this in the MSFS forums but this was like 6 weeks ago and nothing has happened since then. To explain it in a short way, when the "connection problem" popup message appears, my MSFS plane is flying on without any controls. Since I do not have a mouse cursor, and I am in pan mode, I press ESC to bring it up and to be able to click "OK". Usually, at this stage, the green message appears "connection successful". So all could be good at this stage. However, it isnt. Because when i exit the pause menu pressing ESC again, my …

If Microsoft decided to stop developing for MSFS in two weeks' time, the least they can do for this not-a-pilot, not-a-dev not-a-hardcore user are: Fix suicidal ground personnel Fix and match live weather Fix photogrammetry (eg. dark lines in water and bridges) Finalize replay functionality Working windshield wipers Pilot controlled lighting

Details below, but in a nutshell, the experimental version is now the mainline version. @everyone - **FSLTL Traffic Injector 1.5.0** available in FBW installer **New Features:** - Dynamic SID/STAR support using current METAR data and active runways from sim. **Disabled by default. Enable via start-up configuration questions (if Navigraph Navdata is installed).** Asobo bug prevents use with Asobo navdata for now (no support for SID/STAR if Navigraph is not installed). - Cruise speed synchronized with FR24 for AI aircraft above 10,000ft - Workaround for Asobo's floating landings introduced in SU12 (may still have occasional issues) - Static GA parking s…

I was hoping some of you might offer some ATC Add On Recommendations? I'm looking for Offline ATC. Something that handles realistic General Aviation, VFR ATC so that I can practice and become more experienced with real world communications in an offline setting. Something that also handles realistic IFR very well for the same reason. So far, I only do VFR flight, but down the road I'll be wanting to practice IFR as well. I've watched alot of YouTube videos demonstrating various flights but most of what I've found is very long (36 minutes to an hour or more) and I can't watch hours of other people flying for EACH product and giving their opinions. Secondly, s…

Hello and a cordial greeting to all of you! I wanted to kindly ask you for advice on a problem I encountered: in almost all airports both in free and paid ones such as: TDM Santiago, Justflight Palma de Mallorca, I still see the sleeves of wind coupled, and never a single one even with single runway airports!!! I wanted to ask you: is it my problem, with my installation or is it a common problem for you too! Thank you all in advance and I await your more than welcome reply/ intervention! Thank you again so much! Alessio

Terrain on ND is now available through our SimBridge, we've got some improved visuals by way of interior and exterior lighting, as well as new UI elements in the flyPadOS. In the spirit of our dedication to realistic simulation, we have updated and further tuned plenty of onboard systems to even better match realistic operation and functionality. This release is the culmination of months of work by our team and contributors, and we're proud to release v0.10.0. Happy flying! I guess I could post this on the FSHud forum, but I always think there's just as much chance of someone on here with the answer. I suspect it's something which is quite obvious, but I haven't found it! The issue is, after updating FSHud, I get to the point where it wants the location of the community folder and when I get so far along the location addres it won't go any further past the appdata folder, throwing up this error message. BTW, I have the community folder on a separate drive for easy access, and have a shortcut, so I don't have to spend three and half hours chasing it's location! Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys. imagehosting

Hi, Anyone to give me some suggestions about screenshots? Normally I use OLED LG 4C2 for MSFS and when I take a screenshot the colour results are different from what I really see in my television. Maybe I need to adjust some settings but I don't know which ones in order to have a screen which is exactly what I am seeing. Thanks.

For those who may have been underwhelmed by my recent video of the Working Title (WT) AAU2 Beta Release #1 747-8 doing a full descent and Autoland, here is the 787 doing the same at a different airport. (KMEM) The difference is night and day. According to WT the 787 is an iteration or two ahead of the 747 but all planes will perform equally at the end of the 30 day beta. Patience friends. Good things are coming. -B

new to the ATR and ran into an issue. when setting a lower altitude, enabling VS mode, and rolling the nose up/down wheel to -500fpm, the plane begins to descend for about 5 seconds, but then “MONITOR SPEED” appears on the PFD and the entire descent is cancelled. I can not get the AP to continue my descent at all. Anyone know why this is happening and how to circumvent it?

Long time FSX user. New computer, starting to explore MSFS steam edition. Couple of questions: Is the SOFLY "A Guide to Flight Simulator" worth $27? Is there something else that would offer insight into MSFS? I bought the basic version of MSFS but I notice very few airports available. FSX has about 44,000 right out of the box. Whats the deal? What do most users use for flight planning? The rudimentary system build into MSFS seems simplistic after using PFPX. Can flight plans be imported into MSFS? Visually MSFS is wonderful but I'm like to fly by the numbers generally following IFR rules. What's other experience? Thanks in advance for your…

Just purchased the ATR a couple of days ago thru the Marketplace. Been flying the FBW A320 exclusively for almost 2 years now. Manually entering the flight plan on the MCDU (using a simbreif plan) is very close to the FBW. However a couple of things are coming up. For example: KMSY to any destination requires a first fix after departing and Simbrief specifies that fix.(Actual f/p was KMSY GCV HOBBT2) Looking at all the youtube videos it appears that you click on the discon to get to "next fix", but that's not happening. Clicking on the departure airport(KMSY) doesn't get you to a "next fix" either. Where am I going wrong. Other issue : manually entering target airsp…
