Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

So at all most every airport I have good FPS and performance. I bought LEVC from BMW last week. (BEAUTIFUL MODEL OF THE WORLD) For some reason changing views on this Airport is a disaster. FPS drops are insane between switching views. It only happens with this airport (LEVC) Anyone else has this same issue ? Also for some reason I cannot find there website and ask for support.

I've followed all the steps in the checklists and several videos watched online and I still get the Red Warning when I hit the Config Button. * All white lights extinguished on Overhead Panel * Flaps Set * T/O Data Confirmed * All NAV and SURV areas confirmed * Gust Lock and Parking Brake - OFF Anyone have any ideas what I might be missing in the take off config? I'm pretty sure I'm not missing anything and hope it isn't another bug!

Hello, I just discovered framerate generation with my 4080, and virtually had my jaw dropped, going from some 35fps to over 80 (didn't A-B compare, but the situation on stand the same stand at EGLL (no addon), Fenix, cockpit, weather). Anyhoo... while 80fps is GREAT, stuttery sim without VSYNC and frame limitation is worse than anything else. I tried limiting with RTSS, but it's worse than bad. VSYNC in the sim doesn't work any more, no impact on the FPS. Is there something recommended please?

Hey Folks, I'm a recent convert from P3D to MSFS. I just purchased Inibuilds JFK via MS Marketplace, and while it runs beautifully on my new system, I was wondering how I could disable any options I might not like. Can this be done with scenery purchased via the Marketplace? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Pete

I have a problem talking to the default ATC which has happened over the last 3 flights on the last 3 days. It does not appear to be aircraft specific has it has happened with both the Fenix A320 and the PMDG 737-800. When I start my flight at the gate I have 2 way communications with the ATC as normal and can hear both Pilot and ATC commands. However at sometime during the flight I loose the sound from the pilot to the ATC although my response to ATC instructions are visible in the ATC text window and are acknowledge by ATC. Communications with AI traffic and ATC are not affected as I hear 2 way communications with the AI traffic. I have not made any changes to m…

Hi all, I have tried practically everything on this issue...I have a monitor that has a refresh of 75 with AMD Freesync, I have followed all instructions to get it setup within the Nvidia CP and Im also on the latest 517.48 Gameready drivers. No matter what I do there is a ton of screen tearing happening on MSFS2020 Should I just set my monitor to 60 instead of 75 the lock at 30? I do set the Alt-number views per my pref (setting each w/ Ctrl-Alt-number, but the ones set per plane by the dev that are activated w/ Ctrl-number--how can I reprogram those for specific views? Thanks an advance!

Hello, I was setting up the new mixture setting for the nosewheel steering to use with one of the rotaries on my throttle when suddenly the whole list of the mixture settings, except one, vanished. I have been trying to get them back again but I cant see how. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hi , the volocopter works before Version 1.32.7.0 without any problem. I have all MODs for FPS and for Checklists deleted Even Ctrl-E does not work. Could delete and restore Volocopter be a solution?? Does anybody have this problem also.

I came across this on Panjno's YT channel, and tried it out. Now, it could be the usual 'placebo' effect, but I'm sure it's done something to improve matters. I dont know if this issue is already discussed somewhere, since there are a lot of Anti Aliasing related topics here and elsewhere. I noticed that some static objects have very strong shimmering on them while actually being static on screen. That means it occurse when there is no no panning, camera or aircraft movement (where without any AA one would expect shimmering to occur). Everything else seems fine. The issue is especially noticeable at night, where the area where an airport floodlight illuminates itself is shimmering. I also noticed it on cranes, poles or window frames. Hey All, Had a flight yesterday into CYDL Pilot2ATC gave me the RNAV Y RWY 03 approach with the VEVMO transition but in the FMC of the ATR that transition wasn't listed, although the approach was there. I also noticed the RNAV Z approach was missing. So I am not sure is this a bug with Navigraph not updating the sim, is it a bug with ATR not pulling all of the navdata correctly? I have done a bunch of google searches and I cannot find anyone else complaining about this so I am thinking I am the only one? I tried removing and readding my Navigraph data, but not sure what is going on. Any suggestions?

Hi all, I have mapped the X and Y axis to my joystick (Logitech attack 3). The problem is that with every small movement by the joystick the aircraft makes small movements up and down, like shaking. The inputs are not smooth and the aircraft is jumping around in the air. Any hint? Thanks, Chris

Hi, Only very recently I installed MSFS, so I'm discovering/wondering/learning every day 😉 In our earlier flight sim days, we had to layer our sceneries carefully. Are those days over? Just copy/past into the community folder and that's it? Egbert

What's the trick to persuade MSFS to log the flight after finishing with the ATR? I've tried various ways of closing down and had it working once, but no more (!!). 1) I don't use DEV mode (which appears to be a frequently reported problem with logging). 2) I've tried gates and regular parking slots - with and without using ATC. 3) I've tried shuting down the engines with and without ground power. There must be a correct sequence to all this (which I must have hit upon once before) but I just can't work out what it could have been!

As per tit.le, was wondering how to include the ATR so GSX see's it properly.. GSX kept saying couldnt read aircraft form simbrief! Good grief! Any ideas chaps Dug

Lost sound of outer marker after update in Cessna 208

I’m trying out the “Pause at Top of Descent” feature with the FBW A320 and…it did indeed pause at the TOD. However now it won’t un-pause. Anyone know how to fix? I tried pressing ‘enter’, ‘esc’, ‘p’, etc. Nothing works. And can’t click with mouse because the mouse cursor won’t appear, but the sim audio is still playing so I know it’s not frozen. Late yesterday and early today getting those pesky off line messahes popping up, and seconds later, back on line. Server must need new batteries.

I've had this problem as long as I've tried flying float planes--if there's a little wind the plane becomes impossible to steer on the water, even with the water rudders extended. Any fixes out there or any word about when the water physics will be fixed?
