I am seeing this a lot, a bleached area where the city is. Is it Photogrammetry that causes this? Or is it something with my MSFS installation.

Can someone please explain in what order o correctly enter VR in MSFS? I have a Reverb G2 and it seems very difficult to get it all working correctly. Sometime the mix realty just studders along when initializing. Where does Steam VR fit in to all of this? I feel like I am hidering the FPS and smooth operation of MSFS. Any help appeciated.

Just got a new PC and have installed MSFS20 and all my addons etc. All working well. I have redownloaded liveries ftom flightsim.to for the ATR-600 and extracted the zip files to my community folder within MSFS. When I open MSFS and select the ATR-600 - only the liveries that come with the ATR are visible, and none of those that I have downloaded and extracted to the MSFS community folder are visible. I can see that they are in the community folder, but have no idea as to why I cannot see or access them within MSFS. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Early development pics of my next freeware. For those who want a closer rendition of this iconic private airport seated in the famous Monument Valley: one-way-in, one-way-out with no reasonable go-around as you approach the short final. Not much to build for the addon : one hangar and restroom building for charter planes 😉 But the parking and very narrow runway deserve better than the generic. I'll do my best to recreate the ambiance of what is one of my most impressive (real) landings. Stay tuned!

I just did a EGLL-KSEA flight in the 787HW. I get decent frames with FSLTL traffic out of EGLL, but on approach to KSEA I get major stutters and a huge drop in FPS...any ideas?

MSFS lets you display multiple cockpit views and move them to their own screens. You control the mapping of virtual FoV to screen by setting the Zoom, but this affects all screens at once. This is not the same as X-Plane 11 or P3D View Groups, which let you control the mapping independently for each screen. So you can't mix different-sized screens in MSFS, or the images will be different sizes. Except that you can. As long as your screens are more or less the same height (physical height, not pixel count), the images will display at the same size on each screen. Do any of you find it annoying that the mouse cursor times out and automatically disappears after a few seconds if you fail to move the cursor? For example, lets say you are stepping through the legs page on the PMDG 737 with the NAV display in plan mode. You have to repeatedly press that bottom right line select key to step through to the next waypoint. If you just leave your mouse cursor on the button and don't move it, the cursor times out and disappears. You then have to move the mouse to get it to reappear and you can continue stepping through waypoints until it disappears again. This is with all aircraft not just the PMDG. Another outcome of my crash yesterday. After what appeared to be a completely successful reinstall I’m finding that the default pathing for aircraft, specifically for flight plans is not working. Here is what I just wrote at PMDG forum but I see now it’s the same for every plane I have that uses SimBrief for Flight Plan download. It appears the expected folders are missing and I can’t find them anywhere. I hope someone is more insightful than I am, I’m completely burnt from yesterday. Wondering what various locations around the world when viewed in FS blew you away compared to what you perceived they would look like. Many of us have used older FS sims for years but nothing compares to what we have now. Maui was one for me with the way the island rises out the water. I'm sure there's other areas I haven't dreamed of around the world where the very way the land looks in virtual person can't compare to pictures or Google Earth.

According to the instruction displayed in the TAKEOFF tab under Weight and Fuel in Utilities, I can "Press FOB SYNC or enter Fuel On Board to confirm fuel.". Pressing FOB SYNC works, i.e., it updates the block fuel to what's displayed in the MFD but when I enter a fuel amount that is different than what's currently onboard, the block fuel displayed on the MFD does not update. Is there a way to specify a block fuel amount I would like for a flight or do I have to use whatever fuel amount is in the aircraft when it's loaded ? I know keystroke INSERT increases the onboard block fuel but the amount is arbitrary and I don't see a way to decrease block fuel. Thanks.

For those with the FlyTampa Las Vegas scenery for MSFS I have two questions. I purchased my copy from Orbx and the FT team (forum and email) are zero help they never respond. I do not see the configuration tool at all. 1. Does the scenery come with the configuration utility like it did for P3D where you can turn off items for the airport as well as the Las Vegas Strip? 2. Are you seeing the animated Las Vegas monorail and the monorail that runs from the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and Excalibur hotel and casino? These monorails were visible in P3D but I do not see them in MSFS.

Hello, is there a configuration manager for this airport? I bought it through ORBX and there isn’t one in the ORBX program. I’m wondering if there’s another way or if I’ve missed something. I was hoping to be able to tone down a few optional details to help with performance issues I’m having at the airport. Thanks

Hi all- Installed MSFS yesterday and still cannot get my throttle to work correctly. Quadrant is a VFTQ6. Assigning the throttle x axis in the Cessna 172 results in the throttle smoothly going to about 75% then jumps to 100% No amount of changing in sensitivities has any effect. Fired up the sim and went to replay a flight I had started last night. Plane was the Dreamliner, Airport is MIA and destination is PDX. Last night sitting on RWY in VC average FPS 70-80, external maybe 10 FPS more. In flight I often see frames over 120-140+. This has been consistent for me using Frame Insertion with my 4070Ti. This morning FPS has cratered to 30 or less on RWY as well as huge stutters. I’ve rebooted a few times, have changed planes and scenarios but to no avail. Frames are still in the tank. I saw a similar discussion a week or so ago but didn’t pay attention because my frames were and remained 100+ in almost every situation. Now this? ANYON…

I am wondering if msfs20 allows a custom camera view (for display in a second monitor) the same as FSX did where the custom camera window could be undocked from the primary window. I'm hoping its possible. The right Alt key and click cursor on PFD is not what I'm referring to, as that only captures the PFD screen itself and none of the soft keys that go with it. I have a small monitor mounted above my yoke in which I displayed instruments in FSX and I could interract with them by cursor / touch screen. Hey all, pretty much what the title says. I will do a flight from point A ---> B and my FPS will gradually start falling, especially at "the end" (approach & landing). However if I exit the game and load back into the destination (or departure) airport, with all of the same settings as before, my FPS is once again "normal".
