Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

My pedals rudder control freezes randomly, but only in cockpit view, strangely not in outside view, so to taxi the airplane (B737/777 in this case) I must switch from cockpit view to outside view- Generally it happéns after landing, while taxing, and after some time , normality returns.- I can use keystrokes Q and E to move the tyler, but taxing it is almost uncontrolable that way.- Has anybody experience this issue ?

Several years ago, there was a product called FLAI which supplied models of numerous aircraft which were loaded in the P3D sim objects folder. When flying on Vatsim, the other aircraft in the area were displayed accurately. I know there are several products out there, but I'm looking for one that works the same way as FLAI and doesn't just randomly display AI aircraft. Any suggestions? Thanks.

About to tear out my (non-existent) hair. I have no ATC or ATIS audio, regardless of plane, radio config (TDS GTNs or default) airport, Navigraph or default nav data... When I tune ATIS, for example, I can hear clicks, roughly corresponding to when the loop likely starts and stops, but that's it. I never hear any ATC whatsoever, despite having correct frequencies tuned. I only have one audio device enabled, and the problem persists whether I set MSFS specifically to that device or to the "default audio device". All other sounds in the sim are fine. I have run into a problem trying to update the nav database for FSI panel in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. I have always been able to run the FMS updater but for some reason now it does not see the install of FSI panel. I tried to manually point it to the installation and update it there. It acts like it updates it but I still get the expired database when starting FSI panel. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have posted this on Discord but have not heard anything back. It looks like they may be moving their website so I'm sure they're busy.

I can't seem to find any capability in this aircraft addon, to deploy stairs for the crew to access / exit the aircraft? In the 'Services' menu, there are only options for doors, GPU, etc, but no options for stairs. As Freighters are less likely to use jetways, this is a real immersion breaker! Am I missing anything?

The cameras in 2024 have been a struggle, but Chaseplane fixed all that for me. It really transformed the way i use MSFS 2024 and that $30 was money well spent. I like the fact i can easily import / export entire views for any plane, making it easy to leverage the work i did setting up the A350-900 to be used on the A350-1000. Being able to have views that automatically turn off TrackIR is another great feature, but the best thing about Chaseplane is everything is intuitive. That isn’t an easy thing to do when you have these capabilities. It really is worth the money imo.

I just started using Spacedesk to pop out some panels on my ipad with the Fenix. I have always used the desktop line Skalarki MCDU and FCU. Now that I have incorporated Spacedesk, my MCDU does not align with my push buttons on the MCDU. It is almost like the display got smushed down a bit. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. The real HJet does not have the option to go to a full PFD. This has been confirmed by the pilots who have flown it and have spoken with us about it. Hi all, i seem to having Elevation issues at many many airports and not just addons. just taxied out at ESSA ( premium deluxe )and a huge fisher like a tectonic plate had moved straight across a taxi way. Could it be that a don't have World updates installed ? i have all the ones for Europe installed. I remember in P3D you had to layer scenery , is there a similar thing in MSFS. its starting to get on my nerves now , i have many many addon airports , also running Rex accuseason, Fsuipc, Navigraph charts, gsx, fenix 320, Fsrealistic, FSTL, and FS ATC Chatter . I think that's about it ?

Hi, Recently when starting a flight at at selected gate, the aircraft will appear to spawn first in water, then on top of the airport. This means it will "drop down" and possibly spawn upside down. Has anyone experienced the same?

I've been working on getting my 2024 setup optimized and by and large things have gone well and I'm quite happy. The biggest limiter will be VRAM with my ancient 8GB video card, as I assumed it would be, but I think I've got things dialed in pretty well. (And for the 2 of you curious as to why I waited so long, it's because I HATE fiddling with sim configs and had things dialed in perfectly in 2020, but for a variety of reasons it was well past time to bite the bullet.) I have installed GAIST v7.1 in MSFS 2024, but I am not seeing any ships. I have Online/Traffic Type set to "AI Offline", and Sea Traffic set to "Ultra". The "gaist-ultra-V7_1" folder is in my Community2024 folder.

I used the same axis settings as 2020 and my braking is slightly delayed. Whereby in 2020 is nicely responses. In the 777 Thanks Mike

I have all my airports in the Community folder (via the AddOnLinker), and nothing in folder Community2024. What is the use of Community2024? Do users have airports in there? Nico

Hi All, Over the last 3 months I have been rebuilding my 738 cockpit. This weekend I upgraded the pc. I updated MS 2024 to 1.6.34,0. The issue I have is that the Community folder is not being read at all. Has there anything been changed ? I have nothing in the Community2024 folder. Everything is in the Community folder. Already I have verified the files. AddonsLinker24 sees everything too. Anyone knows what to do ?

I have all my controls' bindings set up nicely. There's just one problem, despite my best efforts to name them all differently, ie, 737/777, H-Jet, it seems the sensitivities can't be saved per plane. If I set up the sensitivities for the 737/777 for the reversers to work ok it messes up the settings for the H-Jet despite it being named H-Jet. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation to the program? Thanks, Jack

Is there any plan to make the VORs in MSFS 2024 more realistic as far as distance when you can tune and get radials to/from? They are currently dismally inadequate and I am hoping there is an update planned or 3rd party available….? The DMEs are better but tuning in the VOR and getting positional information is woefully inadequate. Ta- C

Hey guys how do i save The preset AB MSFS and AB MSFS for Enviro? Front the top preset list. I tried searching but via atmos and enviro presets . Its the same name thou different settings. Thanks Mike
