Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

When doing a return flight halfway FPS issues. With the return flight halfway the flight the sim changes into a stuttering 1 fps when changing views. Happens every time I can't find the solution. Any had this before ?

I’m still trying to fully understand the MS/Asobo control assignment logic (after five years…). In MSFS 2024, each aircraft comes with predefined cockpit instrument views, typically bound as: Toggle Instrument View 1 → Ctrl+1 Toggle Instrument View 2 → Ctrl+2 Toggle Instrument View 3 → Ctrl+3 etc. What I would like to achieve is an aircraft-specific keyboard binding. I decided to give Aerosoft's upgraded CRJ a flight after over a year of not flying it. Upgraded to the latest (2024) version. Flight went ok until after takeoff. No matter what I did, wasn't able to engage the autopilot. Mach / trim / yaw dampers were all engaged. Any idea what the issue is? Also, can someone remind me how to engage reverse thrust? I calibrated the throttle to allow for reverse thrust but when in the sim, full aft on the throttle only brought me to Idle.

Let me start by saying I am just starting to try to understand the longitude so I am sure there is lots of stuff I do not understand yet. Here's the scenario I am asking about: Longitude sitting on the runway. I have a spoiler axis defined to the position 1 lever on the Bravo. When I pull the spoiler lever down the spoiler moves a tiny bit and that's all. What do you do to get the spoilers to engage fully? Thanks ...... Rob

Because i installed chaseplane first when i try to setup any gates within gsx nothing is controlable and is a nightmare trying to setup . Almost everytime I load the game, it indicates that I must perform an update, otherwise I cannot start flying. The title shows a scenery upgrade, usually a particular area. Now these updates are massive, and my C drive is getting close to full capacity. Can I bypass the upload and go straight to the main menu? Eytan Ornstein

Hello I am using Spad next to control the Saitek switch panel. It works fine except with the landing gear on the A2A Comanche. When I use the landing gear lever nothing happens. Has someone found a way to fix this problem? THX

And come on, do they really think that anyone believes this "was flagged by the community" bull? Never ever was my last post "hidden due to flags from the community", this is straight forward impossible and it would be absolutely embarrassing for our simming community, if this post was flagged. Is there any way to walk freely on the ground like in other games? I only know the camera and slew mode for viewing.

1. Does it work well with VFR? 2. How well does it work with PMDG 737 integration with SayIntentions API Key? 3. Will it work with PSXT data fed by RealTraffic (LiveTraffic) and AIG models? (assume just ATC aspect) 4. Can it be menu driven rather than voice? Premium services is $190/yr which seems reasonable if they deliver VFR support that works in controlled airspace. I have BeyondATC but their roadmap seems to never change (aka completed) and the ATC voices were great but it just kept on endlessly hounding me for responses to the point where I just disabled it … that and no VFR support in controlled airspace. I picked the Boris 737 2024 sound pack up tonight from Orbx. I have quite mixed feelings about it: Pros The engine sounds are great. Much better than PMDG New sounds when passing over bumps etc (slow taxi, not take off roll) are really nice There are some nice new APU sounds that can only be heard when you open the cockpit window - nice Cons The switch and knob sounds are soooo darn quiet! This is the biggest change between older sound packs and newer ones. I'd guess the reason is realism. Ie. how loud are switches like these in reality, from the cockpit, with systems running and potentially a headset on. But it just comes…

Ive been flying the FSS experimental E175 but I can't seem to request an IFR flight plan I'd like to try that. It only gives me VFR. Thanks for yhe help.

I was hoping that someone could impart some wisdom on me. I cannot get my Bravo TQ to get flaps 1 or 2. I was hoping there was some kind of calibration on the aircraft but can't find it if there is. I have a 737 throttle mod from Flightsim Factory (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1720655855/737-pro-v3-full-electronic-thrust-lever?ref=hp_rv-3&sts=1&logging_key=b2974cb2947025ddce8829ff61ed910d30b7c163%3A1720655855) that has all the detents but even when I pull the mod off, the flap handle will just go up and down when I try to select flaps 1 or 2. I can select flaps 5 on but not 1 or 2. Any help would be appreciated.

Apologies for the generic-ness of this post 😄 I just enjoy reading people's views. A month ago, I was a hardcore GA only flyer in MSFS2024. That's been the case for about 4 years. I just lost interest in airliner flying and instead enjoyed realistic simulation of GA aircraft, similar to the real world GA flying I do. .... but something happened a couple of weeks ago. Hi all, I've noticed running the Fenix Airbuses (all) in MS2024, that when I select the cabin model visibility off in the EFB, it still renders. To be more specific, I've noticed that one thing you notice when you select the cabin visibility off in the Fenix, is that the click spot to open the cockpit door (from the inside) disappears. That makes sense if you were to disable the cabin visibility. But.... with the cabin visibility turned off, if I go to one of my custom wing views, or float through the cockpit door with the free cam, the cabin is still very much rendered.
