I've been a flightsimmer since this all started many years ago. I normally fly GA twins ( blacksquare, A2A etc ) and love the sim. Recently, I decided to have a change and bought the TAOG H500C. What a revelation. It's been a learning curve, but I think I've got a handle on it now. This helicopter has been a great challenge, but so worthwhile. This is not auto pilot flying, but hands on all the time, with short hops between landings. I am all for realism, but I just blew an hour of my night trying to start the Baron. I mean really? Did the checklist. Maybe there are people who like this sort of thing but come on. At least add an easy start option. Wasted night.

I have a lot of hours in the Fenix A320 but there are 2 things puzzling me at the moment:- I am being tortured by a "Your joystick has a calibration problem" message, on the Fenix EFB. I have calibrated my joystick a dozen times, both in Windows, in MSFS2024, and with the suggested values for the dead zones in the Fenix MCDU. Everything flies perfectly! Full control, no issues. Yet, I get that darn pop up message every 2 minutes on the EFB. They really need a "Don't show this again" message. It really affects the enjoyment of the flight because everytime I go to use the EFB in a flight that message is there. Does anyone know how to kill it for good?! …

I keep getting the popup "Backed up UserCfg.Opt file found". How can I turn this off? Seems to reoccur no matter what I do or select. Thanks, Al

I'm not sure if this is where I should ask this question but here goes. I just bought the MK Studio KSEA via the Contrail App and installed it in MSFS2024 but the airport isn't showing up in the library. I've disabled all other KSEA scenery but no joy. I've asked both Contrail and MK Studios about this problem but haven't heard anything from either of them as of yet. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there, As the title says....is PFPX still fully usable? I read somewhere that support was stopped. It is still buyable at simmarket and i am thinking about buying it since i am not fully happy with the planning tools available (simbrief, navigraph charts). Sure i use simbrief but i miss some features such as avoiding FIRs and so on. If anyone is using it with MSFS and has some experience to share i'd be very happy to know. Best regards, Tom

I do not understand after so many builds, how come the micro stuttering is not fixed when opening ATC window. Is this going to be now in the official SU4 build? Su3 doesn't have that problem

Hi all, I decided to take a chance on the Ini A340. I'm not Inibuilds biggest fan, having had a lot of problems with almost all of their airliner products. But I decided to take a chance. On loading the plane, it looked and sounded fantastic. Rudder / tiller control on the take off roll seemed really jittery but other than that, it seemed a nice immersive addon. Took off from LSGG on a 4hr 15in flight to GCLP. All was fine with set up, take off and climb. In the cruise (an hour into the flight), I turned on the time acceleration via the EFB, at 2x. When I then tried to check turning it off, "Time acceleration 2x" just remained active and display…

At least in the default 32N v2 I started noticing that when I try to set stabilizer trim nose heavy, it stops at a given setting, way berfore what I wanted it to be set to. This has happened in other aircraft (default) too, but I can't recall excatly which(?) Has anybody noticed it? Checked my trim assignements which have been the very same for more than 1 yr now... Trimmimg tail heavy doesn't pose any problems.

Issue : My default aircraft is the 208b caravan ( stock) I downloaded the Kodiak 100 from SIMWORKS – the package that comes wth both wheels and floats I found it pulled consistently LEFT on every takeoff. read some posts and the manual, and the aircraft is defaulted with a 50% rudder deflection. However, adjusting that by trim never made any difference, so I asked for a refund on that aircraft. Hi, I have aproblem : with those 2 planes I cannot fly because the parking brake is off when I begin the flight and I cannot release it. I have just upgrade to the newe version of each, no change. The A350 900 has not this problem. Any suggestion Thank's Yves

Hello, I purchased MSFS 2024 from the MS Store one week ago and have been unable to launch the simulator once since purchase. I opened a ticket with Zendesk and have received a couple of replies outlining steps to correct the problem. Unfortunately, nothing has worked. Each time when trying to get the sim to launch I encounter "syncing" and "authenticating" errors (i.e. one of the errors I receive is Error code 2000). In addition to the Zendesk recommended actions I have uninstalled and reinstalled the sim per a previous AVSIM thread on Error code 2000. Hi guys! Just got chaseplane setup as I wanted in FS2024 but there's one thing that I want to get and I dont know if its possible. In the cinematic mode, is it possible to get smooth transitions between views? Right now it just switches between views every X second but the switch happens in an instant. I want to get a smooth fade out - fade in. Is that possible?

I've noticed Sundays will often have a slight downgrade in my total performance, usually manifesting as a few stutters that would otherwise not be there. Today at IniB KPSP TLOD appeared to be dropped down to 50 or less with blurrier close by mountains which are usually nice and crisp. Same same for the taxiway line which out so many feet became blurrier whereas normally super crisp all the way out. No stuttering at all, but makes me wonder if MS/A uses an algorithm when there is high demand to lower TLOD. I noticed the main thread on my CPU was showing only about 30% utilization. No change to TLOD settings impacted this as I was set at 200 and making changes in sett…
