Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi, couldnt find any newer thread about this but is this simulated and if it is how do i setup my pedal disc button on my Airbus tiller for it? I guess if its simulated you would have to go outside to see it work .Might be why its not first priority. Thanks

Dear All, I'm trying to start flying the Boeing 747-8 in MSFS2020. The problem that I have is that after I started the APU, I get the "Avail" lights on the APU GEN 1 and 2 switches. When I select the APU generator switches, instead of going to lights saying "ON", the "AVAIL" lights remain on and the electrical system doesn't get powered on. The Standby Power switch is set to AUTO and I've installed/re-installed both the default and Salty versions and I still get the same issue. Any help in solving this problem would be appreciated. I have noticed something after the 4.00.007 update of the PMDG 737-800 in MSFS 2024. I seem to be hearing the touchdown sound after the wheels have touched the ground. Like there is a 1 or 2 second delay before the sound kicks in. Is anyone else experiencing that?

I have noticed a couple of issues at Aerosoft EDDF Frankfurt in MSFS 2024.... grass across taxiway PAPA1 close the the bridge over the motorway animated vehicles disappear underground when crossing this bridge (and other bridges) Can anyone please let me know if you see this on your PC? I contacted Aerosoft support about this, but they suggested disabling the hand crafted version of the airport. Hello friends, i haver ported my ATR from 2020 to 2024, and enabled it un my marketplace library, but it isn't enabled permanetly , i have to enable it all time i start a new the game. Istaht correct or i am doing a mistake? Another question , peopke says that MSFS2020 liveries works, but in my case they don't appear

Most of my flights are in and out of Heathrow (iniBuilds EGLL) and I'm considering installing the Orbx Landmarks London City Pack. I run with PSXT traffic mostly on the Fenix A320 or PMDG 777. The photogrammetry in London can be so bad so thought I might install this BUT I'm worried about the performance impact. Does anyone have any idea of how much it affects performance in MSFS2024? I know in 2020 it was pretty bad. Thanks

Whilst I may have been spoiled by the Boris soundset in FS2020, which doesn't work in FS24, is it just me who thinks the FS24 C172 sounds more like a lawnmower than a throaty Lycoming?

Any way to remove the floating lights seen in may locations during taxi? I see I have the 2020 MSFS EDDF disabled so don't think it's residual from having two versions running. I'm otherwise totally happy w/ the Gaya Sim version. Cheers

Now that SU4 has been released (great job Asobo) what’s on your wishlist for the next Sim Update? I would like to see them focus on bugs, especially with existing aircraft and career mode. They have put a ton of time into these areas, but we need another big push to get over the finish line in these two areas. Additionally, more focus on improving weather, ATC, traffic and performance. I am fine if they don’t release any significant new features, and just focus on fixing and improving what we already have.

Flight yesterday from Oban to Inverness took nearly an hour but checked my logbook today and there is no sign of it though there are a few other shorter flights I did that day. This is certainly not the first time and I thought this issue was solved in one of the sim updates. Is this issue the same for evryone as it seems a bit hit and miss as to what goes in and what does not. The flight was from the gate at Oban up to the gate at Inverness so was a full flight.

The CPFlight MCPpro works great with the PMDG 737 in 2020 and has for a while. There was recently released a new driver from CPFlight for the PMDG 737. The 2024 version works, but the response is slow and some functions like the Vertical Speed dial dont function properly. Any others users had this problem .. New PMDG release and New Driver release so trying to track down where the source is of this..

After problems with Xbox not finding that I was online I did a RESET which has put all my setups back to defaults (unfortunately) and when MSFS2020 first started up after the reset it showed ASSISTs settings (only for the first startup) however I now find that an image of an Xbox controller unit is displayed during startup. NO big deal I guess but just wondering if there is a setting to prevent this displaying. Here is a screen shot of what I mean -

I've been flying the CJ4 for years with no issues. In the last couple of weeks I'm getting warning/caution lights when applying power on takeoff. I've triple-checked all of my settings and all appear to be correct: Flaps are set correctly Speed brakes are not deployed Parking brake is not engaged Trim is in the green band TOGO is set There are no other messages or indicators outside of the norm The engines appear to be responding properly and flight performance is normal I've simply turned off the warnings and proceeded with no issues, but it does strike me as strange... Am I the only one experiencing this?

Downloaded a repaint by @ryanbatc from Flightsim.to, but it does not appear in the livery section in the aircraft configuration screen. I have checked I have the folder at the correct level in the community folder. Any suggestions?

Hi, has anyone gotten the TDS GTN 750 to work in the TAOG Hughes -500 helicopter? I open the clipboard but it just shows a circle and an arrow. I have the premium version of the GTN and it works perfectly in all the other aircraft. Thanks, Jack

Random question here. My home airport is Providence, RI (KPVD) and I fly into quite a bit with the Fenix and iFly. The standard STAR for Providence when coming up the coast is the JORDN2 arrival. It's a very simple STAR, pretty much just hit waypoint JORDN at 11,000' and you have one other waypoint and that's it. Question is - in both the Fenix and iFly, when using that STAR, the FCM has me much higher at JORDN, typically around 17,000' which doesn't give me much time to descend to the correct approach altitude. I can easily overide this in the FMC but I'm just curious why both aircraft don't reflect the hard limit that is shown in the STAR? Is this a gli…

Ever since I installed Chase Plane, AC seem to shake as the go down the runway. Is this a Chase Plane effect and if so, what is the setting? If not, what else might I have installed that gives this effect? Thanks.

I am interested in learning really simple 2024 scenery design for many of the small airports in my state (Kansas, USA). Not wanting to design large international airports, etc. Just want to place maybe a simple hangar, maybe some lumber piles, windsock, runway markers and so on. I have looked all over for a basic tutorial that would teach me this but haven’t found anything like what I need. Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks a lot!

Can anybody tell me what these marks are? I can't see anything turned on in my settings that would explain them but they've just started popping up on me.
