Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Navigraph have release their long awaited (by me at least) update to include VFR charts from Rogers covering Europe (including the UK) So far I haven't seen an updated client app with support for this, only the web version but I'm sure the clients will be there very soon. (Amusingly to me Navigraph refer to these as EU Charts despite including UK and Norway but missing out Cyprus but I'm exceedingly happy whatever they want to call it) -- Update -- Updated client apps look to be rolling out now.

MSFS2024 and my add-on aircraft have disappeared. I can't select them because they're not in the menu. I've double checked the installations (Fenix, Aerosoft CRJs, Airbus A350) and everything seems to be in order there. Searched around for an answer to this and it seems this was an issue a year or so ago but was successfully patched. Has anybody else experienced this strange phenomenon?

If you ever need a good adventure fly in the Aleutian Islands with live weather. It's one of the places in the world where the weather can change super quickly. My favorite flight is from Unalaska to Umnak Island.

Anyone else been flying out of EHAM this week? Just saw the news about a major winter storm that has caused a mess, but in-sim it’s green and dry as can be it seems… Was hoping live weather would depict the situation better. Would Active Sky be a solution to this?

Just a question for the A320 pilots... I notice sometimes when watching YouTube, that the pilots on landing approach, disconnect the auto-throttle and use the thrust levers manually... I'm just wondering what the purpose of this actually is as thought managing the throttle on landing was one extra thing to do when it can be done with auto throttle? Is there some advantage to this or is it pilot choice? Thanks chaps for any insight - i haven't tried it as yet so wondering if i should! Cheers Doug

Just tied to load a flight into my EFB and run BATC and both say they can't reach SIMBRIEF. Also, can't log onto the SIMBRIEF website.

So, after purchasing the DCS World C130J I decided to give the FS 2024 closest addon a chance too... Well, I confess I haven't had much time to test it, and I know it's early access, but heck ! failling all 3 engines in a row: #1 #2 #3 and practically not having to use any rudder to counter the prop and deal with the loss of power even with #4 at max continuous is... hmmm, well... Wonder if it's an MSFS limitation, which I honestly tend to believe it is, because in all other multi prop aircraft in FS 2020 and now FS 2024, engine out scenarios causing asymmetry are way to faint compared to RL, and I guess some are using their CFD already. Hello everyone! I am new into MSFS2020. Didnt play Flight Sim for many years. I was wondering: I am running a RTX5090, so all settings are on highest quality. Are blurry photogrammetry normal in MSFS2020? Or is there an issue with my settings? It looks so blurry (Split airport RWY 05) - Sadly i cant post any screenshot here.

Hello, While I’m enjoying good FPS and overall performance in the new sim, the occasional audio stuttering—especially in areas with dense autogen—is significantly detracting from the experience. I’m using AutoFPS with a TLOD of 250 at FL380, yet the stutters persist despite stable FPS and manageable VRAM and CPU usage. Interestingly, the CPU I was counting on for the transition to MSFS 2024 is typically running at only 22–25% load and around 70 °C, compared to an average of roughly 50% load and 78 °C in MSFS 2020. Any fresh insights or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

In 2020 and before, I would fly anywhere regardless of real world weather/conditions and never deviate because of weather because it had no real impact on the plane. Its fine to fly through a dangerous storm. So I switched to 2024 a few weeks ago and I am flying into Kuala Lumpar in the PMDG 737. As I am turning towards final approach I see a big dark cloud in front with lightning and heavy rain coming out of it. Cool. There is a apparently a default limit on zooming out (Left-shift-u) while in external view (Backspace). How do I remove this limit for the Cessna business jets so that I can zoom out further than the default?

I have to say, I'm a little miffed with CPFlight. I have sent them two emails and also a Facebook query asking if the MCP/EFIS EL version is compatible with 2024. To date I have had no response. I mean, how difficult can it be to reply with a few words! I understand from others, that while it can work with SPAD, in doing so, there are a few functions that don't work, but more importantly, there is some lag. This is driving me nuts. The PMDG737-800, recently purchased from the marketplace, was working fine a few days ago. Now - for the last two days - I cannot get it to respond to throttle increase whatever I do. That is, whether I start from cold and dark, or start ready for take off, or spawn at the runway, or use the throttles with the mouse or use the throttles with my Bravo throttle block. It affects all variants. I have disabled it from streaming and re-enabled. When I move the throttles, the thin indicator on the N1 display correctly increases, but the engines themselves do not spool up beyond idle. I've checked Failures and it says there are non…

Has anyone had success using Skalarki HW in 2024? I have the profiler downloaded and installed (pointed to my 2024 community folder) and it recognizes Fenix and the hardware I have in the profiler. However, when I try to connect via the MSFS Interface from Skalarki, I get this error - HRESULT: 0xC000014B. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what I am doing wrong? When I stop the SDK and go into settings in the Profiler, it says 2020 so that could be my issue. However, I have heard people say they have it running in 2024. Thanks!

Anyone else getting stuttering all of a sudden? Not sure if its the server or my PC.

Are there realy so low interest in this types of aircrafts? The sim is getting flooded with jet airliners and military aircrafts, but still no high quality turboprop airliner. (Im not counting in the Asobo ATR, in my opinion its very lackluster in many things, like no simulated betarange,flightmodel is weird, etc...

So is the new UH-1H Huey that's now available identical to the one previously released by Taog? I know it's their product but I'm seeing posts on FB that this new one has been "dumbed down" by Asobo (which for the life of me I can't understand why they would deliberately do this).

For some time (ie months) I have not been able to get helicopters to run. Includes flight training (not much happens and then a ctd). trying to start a flight in a basic 'copter but no controls work, and i cannot get it to lift off the ground. Suggestions welcome! Thanks

Hello is there a way to disable the Microsoft Space Needle alone or would I have to disable the whole City Update. This seems to be the only conflict with Drzewiecki's Seattle scenery.
