Hello, Pilots. I seems that the recent experimental release did not bring much excitement in the community... Maybe you can share your thought about the stuff? Unfortunately myself got into a trap of circumstances, which does not bring any joy of using the product. I successfully flew the 170/175 birds in FS2020. Then I switched to 2024 completely. DId not use the plane, waited for the native 2024 version. But then I saw the experimental released and I downloaded the plane in 2024. I fly in VR only. I am not an icing expert but feel I know the PMDG B737 pretty well. Flying into PANC and was picking up icing and turned on all that I could but nothing seemed to work. Am I missing something? See pics https://photos.app.goo.gl/nCsad5Dh6Q1pUsxx8

Not sure if I never have seen this because it is a DLSS issue as I just switched after a few years running nothing but TAA. I am seeing what online research has said is "voxel grid" lines in the clouds. Only see it when I have a pretty solid layer of overcast under me while flying airliners. It looks like perfectly square type grid. The lines are faint but noticeable. Some say it is linked to DLSS 4. Has anyone come across this and is the only fix going back to TAA?

If you like flying in lower Alaska RTMM gives you many cabins and seaplane bases to fly to. Quite an awesome package if you ask me it puts everything on the map so you can navigate to each item. New released: After over 2 years in development, I finally released my Advanced Forward-Looking Terrain Following Radar (TFR) and Autopilot. This is a add-on for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. The TFR scans the terrain ahead of the aircraft up to a few miles, and commands the elevator to follow the terrain contours at low altitude, down to 200 ft. It works beautifully and it quite a ride in low-visibility. How does this work? MSFS2020/24 has no provisions for scanning the terrain ahead. Instead this add-on uses its own standalone terrain database. Normally this would be a 700 GB database. But very clever programming and data manipulation reduces this to below…

Is everyone with a NVIDIA GPU now using the NVIDIA App to install their drivers for MS2024? I am on MS2020 and making the switch this weekend. I still have the last set of drivers that came with the old Nvidia control panel. Obviously they need to be upgraded for MS24. I hear the NVIDIA App is bloatware and causes a bunch of issues Not sure if the latest version is still that way but I understand the NVIDIA App filters do not work with MS2024? Would like to pick the collective Avsim user base brains for what best practice is before leaping into it. I've just taken the PMDG 777-200ER in MSFS2024 out of EGKK. It showed +1 on the temperature on the ground (when the METAR said -2) and now, at FL310 it's still saying +1. Is this a PMDG or MSFS issue?

It has been a 4 year break from Flight Sim for me - new PC build today and MSFS 2024 is going to be the main event. Having airports populated by realistic liveries and ideally traffic which corresponds to real world schedules would be the ideal for me. Is this attainable and if so what add ons should I be using ? I have just visited ORBx ESKS Scandinavian Mountains in MSFS 2024 for the first time, and I noticed a couple of issues. There is a significant amount of grass on sections of the taxiway and runway (at the 33 end) Moving my PMDG 737 at this airport is like trying to move through a ploughed field (extremely bumpy, and requires significantly more power to get moving) I have attached four screenshots to illustrate the problem. Using a “ELUTENG M.2 SSD Enclosure NVME SATA Dual Protocol SSD to USB Adapter and Acronis True Image I took my 2 TB Nvme to a 4 TB one. While the drive was still in the Enclosure I tested the clone and it worked. MSFS started right up. That was last night. Today I removed the 4 TB from said enclosure and installed it in the motherboard. Clicked the shortcut to run MSFS 2024 and basically a screen came up that said the software does not exist on your device. Must reinstall. So I did. The first reinstall I clicked the long time installation folder on my F Drive to tell the new install where it should go. Took 120 seconds or so and 2024 was back. Went to fly Fenix…

Hello, I just recently acquired MSFS 2024 and I am still in the process of setting my controllers and installing different addons. What I noticed is that addons that I have installed so far are launching as intended. I looked for my EXL.XML file in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 but it is not there for some reason it has not been created. The addons that I am having problems with launching are: - Navigraph Simlink - Winwing SimAppPro (It launches when windows 11 LTSC starts but can't control my FCU with managed mode. It really is not part of any suttering session, rather it is any airport no matter where how dense or sparce ... I can not get to or from a runway without one "fidget" or stutter or instantanous pause that seems like what used to be hard disk access... TLOD AND OLOD 100 each many things like airport details are low / medium characters and ground traffic NO LIVE TRAFFIC at all. Hello everyone, has anybody else noticed ultra long times from when "Start flight" is pressed until either the "Ready to fly" button is available, or the walkaround mode is loaded (in case the RTF button is disabled)? I've been facing these issues mostly since Christmas. Right now I've been spending over 10 minutes trying to load the A350 at default KJFK, without success. I've tried disabling my frame rate lock, killing MSFS2024 and restarting, abort the loading (by pressing ESC), reduce TLOD/OLOD to 10 and try again, changing the aircraft, but still no success: the camera is still panning around the selected gate from way above. Hi, I’m having a new PC built for me by Jetline. I’m wondering about key assignments and bindings. I’m kind of OCD so I typed out each setting for each device. And I notice that they can be exported. Should I export them and import them with a USB stick after it’s installed in the new sim? Or are they stored in the cloud. Thanks. Jack

Hi all, Strange one this evening. I just flew a flight in the Fenix A320 and had unusual, stuttery performance with some nasty FPS drops at the 2 payware airports I flew between (Justsim EDDH and RW Profiles EGNT). After the flight, I went into Settings to see if I could spot anything amiss. Oddly, in the Online settings, there is no 'switch' for Photogrammetry! I checked my network status and all firing strongly. Anyone seen this before and/or know what it's about? I restarted MSFS2024 and the PG switch is still missing. Are MS having server issues and have turned it off?

Having no joy at all getting GSX to even show up on my system. Talking 2024 here. Did have it working fine a while back, but haven't used it for probably 6 months or so. But I fancied a bit of a play with the 737s, not my usual hot start thing, and it seems to have vanished. I can see the links in the community folder but it doesn't show up in the pull down menu and doesn't respond to the key combination either. Any suggestions? Happy to have a "doh!" moment if need be.
