Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I know there have been many folks looking to make the Boris sounds for the PMDG 737 work in MSFS 2024. Below is a video I created to help some others get them working. The sounds from Echo19 are solid sounds that greatly enhance what PMDG has historically used, but I still prefer Boris sounds. Hope this helps!

Well, you can have them back more or less faithfully. I made something in LUA that enables you to have them all back, but i am not prepared to give any support for this. Use it if you know how to. You will need to extract the original PMDG MD-11 sound files (i cannot provide them obviously) from an original installation. Place them in a folder in your main FSUIPC directory called "TFDiMD11_Callouts". The sounds will need to be renamed (i wanted to do so for my personal use) according to the callouts in the LUA script below. It's pretty straightforward. Hi folks. I have both GAIST and SEAFRONT VESSELS installed on my MSFS 2024 system. In the sim I have ship traffic set to Medium. When I am flying around I am not seeing very many ships. I am testing around the Florida eastern coast. Can I get any advice as to how to get the most ships to appear in the sim using either one or both of this addons. It seems to me I should be getting more ships than I am actually seeing. Thanks.

Do you know when you have a period in this hobby, where everything goes wrong? Not that it seems to go wrong - everything does actually go wrong. So, I have just bought the TFDi MD-11, and I am absolutely unable to install it, using the "TFDI MD-11 Install Manager". When I run the installer, my whole PC gets absolutely frozen - nothing works and no other tasks can be undertaken. Then, after 15 minutes of it just hanging, I get this:- What on Earth???? I purchased the MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe edition ($129), and from what I read it would include a Cessna 172 Skyhawk with analog gauges. Yet I cannot find it? Only the G1000 version?

The DC-8 is hands-down one of my all-time favorite jets — sleek lines, double bubble and that that classic quad-engine figure, America's second ever jetliner and 707 rival. Hi all For me at least, since sim update 16 I have been getting CTD whenever I fly over or from the top of New Zealand's south Island. A bunch of kind forum members tried to help me out with suggestions. I thank all of you However I believe I have narrowed this down to the points of interest in world update XII New Zealand. If I uninstall the points of interest I can load into a flight at NZNS however if I reinstall the points of interest I again get the CTD when loading a flight at the top of NZ south Island. Just wondering if anyone has got the Winctrl throttle to work with the MD-11 in 2024? I have the throttles configured to Axis 1/2 for the left Ursa throttle and Axis 3 on the right within MSFS control settings. However, I cannot calibrate them to be synchronised in the sim, and if I pull the Ursa throttles to the Idle detent, the sim reversers activate. I have tried it with/without SimAppPro with no luck. Any help appreciated.

I normally fly MS2024. I still have MS2020 on my computer and decided to get into it and do some comparsions, but I can't access it. During start up an XBOX box pops up saying "Lets get you signed in". I hit the sign in button which then gives me several options - "Email or phone number" - "forgot your user name?". etc. Problem is nothing I click on works. Can't select any thing to get in the program. Any advice would be appriciated. Jim

So i fly back and forth in 2024 and 2020. Thou the latest 2020 update has caused some performance issues with stutters and fps fluctuations. Shader cache all cleaned. Before the update was silky smooth. And pc is high end. Mike

why can't I not see the "Display" tab in the EFB settings? It is not there at all

I have had to reinstall MSFS 2020. I cannot see the FBW A320 in the aircraft selection page. I have deleted it from the community folder and reinstalled it via the installer. It still does not appear. Thanks for your help in anticipation. <I have just discovered that the community folder has moved to a different location. All is back to normal.>

I've used the Marketplace in FS20, but this is my first attempt in MSFS2024. I'm trying to buy Flight Replicas' newly released DH Rapide. After clicking on 'Buy' I get the spinning white circle 'Please Wait' and nothing else. I then have to use Task Manager to exit MSFS2024. I have the Steam version of the sim, and I have Steam Overlay enabled. Anyone having similar problems, or able to help me, please ?

In 2024 does anyone know if there is way to use Chaplane and Tobii together? I try to toggle Tobii off using the mapped button but nothing happens?

I'm having an issue with Flow and Chase Plane freezing when they run together in 2024. I can load up Chasplane without Flow, no issue, it works fantastic. When I load Flow on top of Chase Plane and start a flight on the runway, the Flow menu will pop up on the right side of the screen as it normally does, but then everything freezes. The shortcut for Flow does not work, so I can't get to Chase Plane at all. Has anybody else experienced anything similar to this?

Hi all, I have posted on this topic some time ago, but could not find the thread in a recent search. The issue I am facing is this. I use the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog throttle and joystick. When I spawn any of the Fenix airbuses onto a runway, the digital displays come online, and then after about a minute an orange 'speed brake' sign appears on the upper ecam, and I cannot clear it. When I look at the wings, the speedbrakes are not deployed, and that is confirmed by looking at the facilities on the lower ecam. The speedbrake arm is in the off position, and if I engage it (or the axis that I also have for the speedbrakes) they work as one would expect. If…

Nine hours into a EGLL - VRMM flight, I was programming my destination alternate into RTE 2 and I get a WASM crash... https://ibb.co/m5tR8SST Have been running the 777 with SU4 in MSFS2024 since it came out. I had one crash when SU4 first came out (on loading the aircraft), cleared the WASM cache and all was fine. I've never had a WASM crash during a flight before.
