Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Is it right that in order to walk around you first have to enter the aircraft then exit it? This is what I have to do and it seems to be *bum* 😄 about face. Have I missed a trick here?

It almost 2 months since the release of SU4. These beta's usually coming within a week after the patch going live. The last communication about it is from 2 weeks ago "begin soon"...

A long time ago I had issues with audio when 24H2 arrived so rolled back to 23H2 ever since. Now I'm having an issue with daily deactivation of Win 11 and MS Help suggested I update to 25H2, so checking with anyone here using an AMDX3D CPU on an MSI board to see if all's well w/ 25H2, or not. Does anyone understand exactly what this setting does. Obviously it increases and decreases the resolution of the sim textures, though high and ultra settings can have quite a performance hit. However, my query is around whether the resolution you are using would make it worthwhile to use the higher settings. i.e. Ultra may display very well in 4 K but are you just wasting resources using ultra when you are running the sim at 2 K. My eyes seem to tell me that using 2 K the sim looks better in Ultra but are my eyes actually playing tricks on me or am I really seeing what I think I'm seeing?

Hi, I can't maintain framerate multiplier x3. Each time I begin a flight it returns to x2. Anyone with this issue? Thank you in advance.

I currently have this on my PC and quite happy with it though I am considering the above options for the living room. Wife wants a DVD player to watch movies and i thought it would be fun to play MSFS2024 on it as well. As Xbox seems to be supported best I wonder if it would be the preferred choice. I just installed the TFDi MD in Fs2024 and I have created a few custom views (using Ctrl+Alt+1, etc, command) for the PW MD11F. Yet I can see see the cameras.cfg that should be saved in: in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes\TFDi_Design_MD-11\presets\tfdi-design\TFDi_Design_MD-11F PW\config Where else can I find my customised ccameras? After a long time, I finally got my money back and bought GSX Pro today ınitially I installed it and everything worked fine the toolbar, jetways, cargo, etc. were all working. But after closing and reopening the game it stopped working. Every time, it says "GSX has been disabled on this airport by user settings." Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, and even after clearing all the files (including the community folder), it never fixes the problem. Also since this started happening, after the update check screen, the game freezes for 5-10 minutes, becomes extremely slow, then slowly resumes loading and reaches the menu screen. What should I do please help

I511400F 32GB RAM 16GBvram 9060XT I have tried reducing resolution, playing in low display setting mode, medium, high. Tried turning off fauna, tried turning off BATC, traffic. I tried at different airports, in the air, at 35000 feet and in large airports. It happens no.matter what. Tried reducing LOD to bare minimum. I checked CPU and GPU use during the stutter and the CPU is at 50% when it happens. And it happens after every minute or so.. not continuously. MSFS2020 had worse FPS but it didn't have this annoying stutter issue. I am not sure what to do. If someone can guide me on how to diagnose what exactly is causing this it, it will be great. I'm just learning IFR on my FSS E175 experimental. I loaded my Simbrief flight plan into the MCDU going from Anchorage to Juneau. When I got near Juneau the flight plan disappeared off of my MFD but it caught up with it a little later I guess it was a discontinuity. Anyways ATC told me to drop from 25,000 to 2,000 when I got near Juneau and I was on the leg of the flightplan that reappeared and I was heading straight for a mountain I would have it but I switched AP off to avoid crashing. Is it a mistake I made or is it just the MSFS ATC?

I have been reading so many great things about this add-on, and I was excited to dig into the documentation. Am I correct in understanding that this product shipped with very minimal documentation? I opened up the EFB and there are no checklists. Very surprising, especially considering that this appears to be a serious study level aircraft. What are others using? Can I use FBW’s documentation, which is excellent? I know the two products are based on different models. I had a look at Airbus docs, but there are a ton of details in the Fenix that won’t be covered. What do you guys recommend? Btw, the glass is half full since I held off on getting ChasePlane…

What's the consensus on the Carenado Cessna 404 that's available in MS2024? Any glaring issues? I'm looking for a surrogate for a C402 for Cape Air routes and this is as close as I'll get. Any info is appreciated.

This is only happening with the PMDG 777, 737 , and the Fenix A321 variant only. FPS is locked at 77. I've about tried it all. So I have a friend of a friend who passed her UAV Part 107 drone test and now has been bitten by the flying bug after seeing my hangar and sim. As we all (I'm guessing) enjoy doing of sharing the hobby and teaching others the fun of flying, I tried to ease her into simming using the WBSims C152. However, not all Air Manager gauges are available and for the life of me cant find a way to assign things like Carb Heat to my axis (where with other addon planes that provide a LVars I can) so I decided to just teach her in the A2A Comanche. I want her to learn on steam gauges so I replaced my G5 screens and my GTN750 screen with steam gauges providing a layout like picture…

I am hoping you guys can help me understand the error in my ways, because flight planning is really a struggle for me. For the record, I have BATC, Navigraph (paid plan), Simbrief, and I am currently flying the Citation X. My flight is from KLAX to KSMF. In Simbrief I create the flight which by default gives me this route: KLAX/24L N0488F400 LADYJ4 CSTRO DCT NURAY SUUTR4 KSMF/35L I manually enter this flight info into the Citation. Everything matches up perfectly. I contact BATC and listen to the ATIS. Only runways 6L/R and 7L/R are active. BATC tells me to use 6R and also tells me that I need to transition via KOUFAX, so my entire flight plan…

Just purchased the FlyTheMaddog and I have an issue with the EFB. It is working ok, but there is a slash from the top right corner to the bottom left corner, and I was just wondering if anybody knows what is causing this. I don't see it happening on any of the other preview reviews. Also in the Sim, when I go to configure, I don't see the MD-88 listed anywhere, and it's supposed to be part of the package?

Some buildings with fog appear crisp. Can this be fixed. See image (black square spot is a building on the airport)
