  1. The Airbus A300B4—Airbus's very first widebody and twin engine —looks and flies like a time capsule from the classic era... yet peek inside its cockpit, and you'll spot unmistakable echoes of Concorde. Those familiar AC/DC electrical gauges, the layout of certain hydraulic indicators, even AFCS modes like ALT ACQ—they share more DNA than you'd ever expect from a subsonic workhorse and the supersonic queen of the skies. Here are some of the most interesting procedural quirks that make the A300B4-200 stand out. I've captured most of them in a full flight video using these techniques—linked below. I'm still learning the jet myself, but these details really bring its cha…

  2. Started by Zimmerbz,

Currently I fly the Fenix in MSFS 2024 along with deskline MCDU and FCU from Skalarki. I recently decided to use my iPad for my ND and PFD as well as a secondary monitor for my EFB. My main display is an ultrawide 49" curved Samsung. I fly with PSXT and Real Traffic or Vatsim and fly into and out of 3rd party airport. This setup looks great but I've noticed on approach and when on the ground in general, i get lots of stuttering. I am also using Active Sky and Rex Atmos Core. My Nvidia Settings are as follows: V-sync on in Nvidia, off in MSFS Max frame rate 50 Low Latency On Power - Prefer Max Performance In the Sim I have these settings: …

  3. Started by Zimmerbz,

I know there is a way to do it but I am not sure how. I fly the fenix and want to put the nd and pfd on another device such as a tablet or iPad along with my current Skalarki mcdu and fcu. What would I need to accomplish this and how would I do it?

  4. Started by UrgentSiesta,

I recently read with some dismay that MS intends to end Xbox rather than finish off the new generation they’ve been working. Doesn’t make sense to me, but stranger things have happened. here’s an interesting take on why the “news” might have gotten it wrong after all: https://simulationdaily.com/editorials/microsoft-sunsetting-xbox-nonsense/# it’d be a shame to see the most cost effective flight sim hardware go EoL/EoS.

Version 3.8.0 – February 22nd, 2026 GSX Pro NEW: Animated stair operator — passenger stairs now have a dedicated operator who manually pushes and positions the vehicle, with full approach, departure and idle animations. GSX (all versions) NEW: Service termination — you can now terminate running services from the GSX menu by choosing "Complete now" (vehicles finish quickly) or "Abort" (immediate stop). This works for Boarding, Deboarding, Catering, Refueling, De-Icing, and Baggage services. GSX (all versions) NEW: Airport Handler Scripts — a new type of Handler customization that applies to a specific airport, regardless of which aircraft is being use…

  7. Every time I select and save MSFS 2024 to perform in Windowed Mode it reverts back to Full Screen when I restart MSFS. Is this a known issue? Also, when selecting a departure airport, shouldn't the drop down list show previous airports I departed from the past? It only shows Recommended Spots. Thanks, Clutch

  8. I click F12 and i hear the camera snapshot sound, and i get a notification, but when i look in my photo album it is empty. I also checked the folder that i configured in the photo album section, but it is empty. Is there a trick to this?

  9. Started by DaveH,

OK - I know this is addressed somewhere, have tried everywhere (AVSIM Search, Discord, You Tube), but can't find a solution. Both Stable and Development Models. No Joy. 🤐 Anyone ? Dave Hinson

  10. What a day.... it started with me feeling really fed up at constant stutters in MS2024.... the stutters were always only when on the ground at airports (origin or destination), FPS were high and the complexity of the scenery didn't seem to make a difference. Certainly, vanilla airports were no better and in some cases worse. I've been battling this for around 2 weeks and have tried pretty much every idea you can think of, from empty community folders, to turning off BATC traffic, to trying DLSS (nice apart from the ghosting), to countless reductions in MSFS settings. Nothing made any difference. As above, the issue was happening even with an empty community f…

  11. Survey taking time again for Navigraph! https://navigraph.surveysparrow.com/s/navigraph-flightsim-community-survey-2026/tt-DfDJ6 Would love to see the breakdown of MSFS 2024 vs MSFS 2020 for this year. I think every Sim Update has led to more MSFS 2020 users considering MSFS 2024, with the culmination of SU4, which was probably the best condition that MSFS 2024 has been in since its release.

  13. Not sure how to describe this better than with pictures. Here is a cockpit view for my A320: Here is the cockpit view for my A321. Do you see the difference? For example, look at the knobs; see how they are "longer"? What do I change to give the same "perspective" as I have with the A320? Thanks.

  14. Started by Romulo Gomes Queiroz,

I'm having a problem with the C414AW where the ADI (attitude directional indicator) keeps spinning continuously even when the aircraft is stationary and level. In addition, the DME's ON/OFF button keeps switching on and off repeatedly. The Aux Pump buttons move but don't stay in the Hi or Low position and automatically return to the OFF position. I can take off with the aircraft, but these problems persist throughout the flight. I purchased the Marketplace version and am using it in streamed mode. I've already tried with several different liveries but without success. I've tried disconnecting all peripherals but it didn't solve the problem.

Hi again folks, Went a little up the coast from KCEC into Oregon. Gold Beach is a charming little town with a seaside airport. Thought this one might need some attention in MSFS too. Should be ready in a few days - I am trying to improve the VFR area a bit, with some Rogue River harbor details, and also added the offshore Pyramid rocks that MSFS left out completely. The real deal for reference

  16. Started by Rob G,

I am really stuck on this one. If I revert my system back to SU4 my exe.xml file is executed perfectly. However, as soon as I go into Steam and switch to the SU5 beta, I cannot get my exact same exe.xml, in the exact same location, to run. Does anyone have any advice as to how to figure out why this is happening? I do not want to have to start each program manually every time I start the simulator. I am at a complete loss to figure out where to go from here to resolve this issue I am having. Thanks.

From Skyward Simulations Discord: "I am happy to let you know that today, we can finally share a first look at what we've been working on for the past two years in even greater detail. We're in the final stages of development and getting more excited by the day to soon bring the Sovereign+ to the virtual skies. (Given the sounds are being handled by Boris, they deserve a whole showcase all by themselves, that will follow prior to release of the plane.)" So happy to get another biz jet into the sim! Looks fantastic!

  18. Started by jlund,

I've seen just about every YT video with CP 2024, but I haven't found one that shows what the World camera is capable of. I would like to sit at ie. Sunset bar in St.Maarten and watch the ai planes landing, but don't know if it's possible to do that, or is it only my own aircraft I can follow? If you know a video that shows that. please link to it.

  19. Hello, With MSFS 2024-SU4, to learn how to land in crosswinds, I switched to custom weather to "create" crosswinds. If I leave the wind speed at 0, it remains at 0. However, as soon as I set a speed higher than 0 (for example, 5) and close the weather window, the wind speed increases progressively and constantly. Are you experiencing this problem? If so, do you have a solution?

  20. ...after last night's debacle. First, I would like to personally apologize to the passengers and crew of Delta flight 007, who unfortunately took the red eye flight from KATL to KMIA last night. In my defense...I did get you there. And the ride in the A350 was pretty amazing MOST OF THE WAY. Yes, the landing was extremely bumpy (and scary!), and you did disembark on the grass. But the last report I heard was that everyone lived through the experience. Welcome to Miami! So how did this flight go so terribly wrong? I prepare my flight plan with Simbrief, and start the flight from a Cold and Dark state. Everything goes smoothly, and I am supposed to land ILS on r…

  21. Hello, I remember the good old days (20 years ago...) of FSNAV, a neat tool with scores of functionalities. I am wondering if a similar tool is available to display multiplayer aircraft in FS 2024. I have found none so far but I may be wong. THX

  22. I didn't see any topic here yet for it, so figured I'd start one! Looks like FSW's Lancair Legacy is coming along pretty dang nicely. I've been patiently hoping someone would finally make one ever since the RealAir days back in FSX... Turbocharged variant, naturally aspirated variant, and my favorite, the Starhawk variant which recreates Valin Thorn's Lindy-winning Legacy. Apparently Andrew Findlay's crazy-modified race Legacy that he flies at Reno is to come as an additional variant as well I think @ryanbatc and I will be glued to the computer for a loooong time when it releases 😁

I lived in Idaho for 4 years while in the Air Force in the late 70's and remember the Boise airport mostly from the ground. Since then, Boise has been transformed into a megalopolis and the KBOI scenery by VerticalSim seems to reflect this very well. This is not a hugely trafficted airport except for the winter ski season but I'd give it a go if you are at all interested in this part of the world. Purchased on MP. $16US dd

  24. Today I decided to try FSLTL fleet and the injector with MSFS 2024. Everything went well, except that every time I open the injector I have to input the Community folder path. I installed it inside the XBox Games folder. I had 2020 installed and I searched for any other usercfg.opt file and only found one. It had the right path at the bottom. Any ideas are appreciated. Jose
