Hello Gang! The new KDFW by Inibuilds was just released. Looks good but I have 2 immediate observations. 1. What is all that junk that appears between runways 36 L&R? I flew into DFW yesterday evening and landed on 36L and none of that was present in real life. What in the world? 2. The GSX profile needs work. There's no reason why GA aircraft should be parked on Terminal B, and Frontier / UAL parked in the UPS ramp. Terminal B needs work as most A/C parked are AA instead of Eagle. No reason why Breeze should be parked on terminal A. Finnair parked on gate D25.....what?? It's messy right now. Performance is much better than Imaginesim thoug…

Unfortunately, recently I needed to do a Window 10 RESET which uninstalled MSFS2020. I have now reinstalled NSFS2020 however the desktop icon 'picture' is a very boring nothing. I have researched how to change and unfortunately in the windows change icon there are no images which even remotely look like an aircraft of even just the characters FS. I also have found on the internet that the files to change the icon picture need to be an exe file. Does anyone have a suitable file or knows how to convert a jpg files to an icon file and how to apply that to the desktop icon? Thanks

Today during a flight start in MSFS2020 I got a RED message of the screen to advise that internet connection was lost. I noted that the usual 'world map' showing possible start positions for the flight did not display. I thought little about it and continued on without problems. Later in the day I decided to startup MSFS2020 again I was then asked to insert a disk which I don't have as I have the Store version. I researched this and found some information. I also find that if I run XBOX it advises "look's like you are offline". When I open 'Network Settings' it advises "no internet access". Is anyone able to run the store version of MSFS2020 with Windows 10? I am having trouble authenticating my copy (purchased years ago via the 'store' and wonder if it's because I am still using W10.

We’re nearly a quarter into 2026 and I’ve been waiting for a few of my fav aircraft to get native 2024 updates (iFly 737, Kodiak, H145) and it seems like it’s taking forever or may never actually happen (in the case of the H145). Is it just my fav aircraft? Or are others in the same boat? Is 2024 just not that popular? Or is it stupidly hard to update aircraft for? Or maybe there’s nothing to be gained by updating these aircraft to the new sim? Also what is the current state of ATC in 2024… have they addressed any of the longstanding issues? After updating to version 2.0.37, on my last two long distance flights, all of the cockpit instrumentation froze while I was entering data on the FMC (changing a route leg), and then again (on the next flight) while I was selecting a different screen on the FMC. Anyone else have this issue??? I have submitted a ticket through PMDGs support site (for which you need a different account setup - how many people will actually never bother to seems to me to be a calculated business move) Did they know about this issue *before* releasing the product? And then released it anyway? Super bad-form, Skizzo, super-bad form. 😕

I have tried everything to remove the wheel chock on this aircraft and they simply will not be removed. Does anyone have any ideas? many thanks.

I’ve been here several times before. Sitting here glaring at the ‘Install’ button for FS2024. Disappointment, dissatisfaction and frustration have been the outcomes previously. With the latest SUx, is there an amended standard or caliber of completeness for large budget flight sims that one should be aware of and adjusted to?

I've been trying to figure this out for hours now but I still don't understand the behavior of World Updates in FS2024. According to some forum posts, they are included by default and don't need to be enabled anywhere. Others say they can still be enabled (Steaming) or disabled, and this makes a difference. The idea is that you can disable a WU if it interferes with a third party addon. It's also very unclear whether a WU comes from FS2020 originally or if it shows up for everyone. I can't tell what's "supposed" to show up in a clean FS20204 installation, since I also own FS2020 and some entries seem to have carried over. Makes me wish I had set up another accou…

I thought I had this figured out but maybe that was for 2020. Anyway, in 2024 how do you get the TBM930 throttle lever to move across the gate using the Bravo TQ? I have been using the TBM930 profile provided by Mark (AKA Simhanger) but things don't work quite like they do in his YT vids. In MSFS2020 I can use a combination of the moving the prop axis and a right mouse hold to shift the throttle lever across the gate but I can't get that to work in 2024. Any assistance appreciated. I’m having an issue with injected parked aircraft floating a bit over the ground. Once they start moving, everything is fine. It’s a bit hard to tell with most aircraft unless I get real up close to them. But for some reason it’s extremely noticeable on Caravans which float a few feet above the ground and Taildraggers which have their tailwheel completely off the ground. I’ve tried two different base model sets for injection, and two different atc addons for injection. It happens with everything. Default MSFS models work perfectly fine. I’ve also tried an empty community folder, and reinstalls of both sets of base models. Anyone else seeing this currently…

Hello, I just purchased MSFS 2020 from steam. I've been a long time MSFS franchise user and decided to try MSFS202 due to new computer build and discount price of MSFS 2020. The layout is a bit different than previous versions, so I'm try to l learn the interface. I found a YouTube intro series to MSFS 2020 by Squirrel that seems pretty good. I am using SU4 (not the beta) and it has been rock solid since release. I decided to buy GSX Pro, and I really like the immersion benefits it provides. Unfortunately, it just introduces instabilities into MSFS 2024. For example, the Fenix EFB would not load half the time, the white menu at the top disappeared a couple of times, and other strange behaviors. Anyone else seeing these issues with GSX Pro and MSFS 2024?

So I'm totally at a loss here. The game gets stuck on the loading screen where it has the credits to 2024 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved, etc... It's there that it freezes. I've tried all the recommendations on Google, ie: Time and Date settings, looked in a folder called etc., logged off the network, then relogged, Insured current Nvidia driver is in, Uninstalled and reinstalled. Been playing the game for 2 years now with no problems. Haven't played in over 2 weeks. I don't see where they are having any server issues at this time. Any suggestions, or has anyone else reported server issues. Thanks for your replies in advance.

Anybody else update in SU4 lately that the water textures, at least around Key West, South Florida, are very blurry? No waves or nothing.
