Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Have a new monitor 32 samsung 165hz running on a RTX 3080. Had another larger monitor running at 165hz but did not have this issue. The other monitor had bad pixels and returned. The swimming textures are around the boxes in the PD on the mD11. Is there a way to stop it?

Today is Monday. I still have one pending (mandated) AI course that I need to complete by tonight...🙂... (actually, listening to a 2-hr video recording, but you cannot fast forward, and if you do, you may have to start all over again). I've found that in some airports in 2024 (even default LFPG and LEMD), jetways do not move at all, either if requested via GSX or using the aircraft EFB. I've seen that a workaround is using the default ATC menu for calling the jetway. However, as soon as I tried that, the jetway simply disappeared. Does anybody know of another method of forcing the jetway to move? In FSX/P3D you could use Ctrl+J or enter the SODE menu and trigger it from there (depending on the jetway type). In the meantime, I canceled the flight in 2024 and I'm trying in 2020.

What's the best setting in 2024? With a realistic setting, I'm getting some realistic turbulence, but sometimes I feel is too much.

I only found downloads for 2020 version 9.2.5 Does this work with both /20 /24 ? cause when I select play game, it loads 2020

So, 595.71 came out today, and doing my first flight in the Blacksquare Bonanza in MSFS 2024, when I open a pop-up window like the EFB or ATC, the framerates tank. Doesn't matter if the pop-up is docked or undocked. Anyone else have this problem? I may rollback and see if the problem persists.

Hi all, Just a quick question: in MSFS2024 not beta, I have noticed that the headlamp (torchlight? flashlight?) does not illuminate anything in the cockpit ? It does illuminate the ground and external model elements, but anything which is part of the virtual cockpit, may it be the instruments, panels, objets, or the copilot, are not affected by the light. Everything stays dark. Has anybody experienced this problem ? I tried searching but 99% of the returned results are about how to turn the headlight on or off... I never thought that I would have to make this decision, but the 2047 error has finally beat me. Every time I start the sim the first keystroke brings up the 2047 error and each further keystroke does the same thing. I am sick of having to try resetting my controls every time I attempt using the sim. Last night I reinstalled X-Plane and did my first flight in 6 years and was impressed with the way everything went. I setup my honeycomb Alpha and Bravo and Velocity Pedals in a matter of minutes. Much easier than MSFS. As for the scenery it's OK. I could keep going but I that would achieve nothing. Happy flying Dissy

Hello- In search of more realistic night flying, I've put together a scenery package, "MSFS DarkStreets", to remove street lights from rural areas in MSFS. As of now, I have builds for both 2020 and 2024, covering all of Mexico, US, and Canada. I am still making tweaks, hoping for a (freeware) public release within a couple weeks. Hi I deleted all traces of EGKK and Gatwick from my community folder a few days ago, before installing the inibuilds one, and since then I've lost all taxiway ground markings (the painted lines) on all default airports and some 3rd party ones (Inibuilds its just black lines for the center line). I have verified MSFS24 via the xbox store as I guess I have deleted something I shouldn't have, but this has not fixed the issue. Any ideas on what I have done and how to fix it? From Developers discord @everyone Good news for all of you waiting for the 2024 port over for the P180. We have completed testing on our end of the fix that ms deployed earlier today. Everything seems to be working and whatever it was that was causing visibility issues has now been remedied. Thanks to the team over there for all of the effort to get this solved. I have always loved "shooting an ILS" in P3d, and I still do. However, I'm really enjoying MSFS 2024 (and 2020) these days. I have learned to set up the AP in many of the planes, and I am partial to Garmin navigation systems in planes like the Duke and others. I am able to get me from Point A top Point B without too much trouble, but I can't seem to get the plane to lock onto the runway I've chosen on the Procedure button. In P3d, I choose the runway, choose a heading, then change the GPS button to NAV and the plane turns onto the ILS that I have programmed in the NAV1 radio. Is there a tutorial that can help me with this? I'm still not proficient in programming…

I'm really starting to wonder. They have not responded to any posts in their forum asking for more info. In fact they have not spoke of the MSFS Q400 since last June. It's sad to me that they have totally missed MSFS. Many of us were big fans of this airplane. Anybody know anything?

Hi, I know it is not sold anymore and it is not supported. I'm still using it with MSFS2024 and it is working well. The only issue I have is the EGSS - Stansted charts not showing (show 22C 04C temp approaches) all sids stars are the but not the approach. Anyone encountered , and can drop a clue ? Ty

Hi folks. I am fighting a problem in which the Low Oil Pressure and Low Fuel Pressure lights on my Bravo will never go out. The help I need is for someone who has the Bravo and who's Bravo lights are all working correctly, to either copy/paste or send me a copy of your config.json file that installs with the BravoLED.exe file. I need to match some parameters from a working file to what's on my system. Not sure I'll find a problem but I have to try. Thanks.
