Any ideas on why I would be getting uncommanded engine shutdowns on the CRJ (Latest Aerosoft version, on MS2024). Just got back to this after a long hiatus, first few flight went fine but ever since, one or the other or both engines die on me. Typically all is well for the taxi-out but once I'm off the ground, the fun starts. I haven't made any control changes and have checked to make sure no existing bindings are the culprit. Any ideas are appreciated.

If you have store bought fsfs2024: System, Display, Graphics. Add an App. Add a Microsoft Store app (choose msfs2024 from drop down menu). GPU Performance (change Let Windows Decide to High Performance). Optimization for Windows Games ON. So, you are making those two changes. Reference:

OLED monitors and HDR look incredible, and enabling HDR10 in MSFS 2024 really makes the visuals pop. That said, I ran into an issue with a Windows 11 setting called Auto HDR that seems to cause problems in MSFS 2024. Instead of typical stuttering, I noticed more of a frame dragging effect along with an overall drop in performance. The setting is now disabled in my system and everything is running normal again. Curious if anyone else has experienced this with Auto HDR enabled in Windows 11 while running MSFS 2024?

Hi, I know absolutely nothing about this subject. I'm running 2024 but am not sure what my settings should be re my TV. Below is a photo I just took of the TV I'm using, it's older. Should I buy a new TV? Or should I adjust my settings in-sim, but to what? I very much appreciate any help. Jack

I am now 94, but still very active operating my flight simulator. I recently installed the PMDG 737-800, and Chaseplane, and had problems completing the Device Setups in Control Settings. I have now got 7 different profile settings in both "Airplane and General" Control Devices which I unnecessarily created over a period of time. I have now ended up unable to fly, because some profiles have got muddled up. For instance when I select FLY when in the cockpit view on the runway threshold, I find that the landing gear, although down, is indicating UP, with 3 greens and 3 reds. I have been using BATC for the past month and it is like most ATC programs in MSFS. It’s a love hate relationship. When it isn’t screwing up, I find it highly immersive. The problem is that it screws up a lot. P2ATC is the other ATC program i use, and it has its pros and cons as well. I am starting to think that these two programs are essentially gateway drugs to using VATSIM, which I have just never seriously considered using. BATC handled all the radios for me, but it did get me more familiar with ATC phraseology. I don't know what's happened. I am in the Beta. Everything was working fine the other day and now, during startup, it gets to Loading World Data, and then takes like 15 minutes to get to the next screen. And then when I finally get to click Start Flight, it never gets to the next screen no matter how long I wait. I have tried with a completely empty Community folder and that has not helped. I have been happily using CP for months. No longer! For the past week or so, the bridge module refuses to work, although I have not knowingly changed anything relevant in my system. I have searched hi and low for suggestions and tried a few without success: - I have deleted and reinstalled the latest CP - I have re-installed the latest runtime .NET - I have started the bridge manually before MSFS - I have run CP and bridge as admin. This results in constant UAC warnings that prevent MSFS use. - I have added CP and bridge to the Windows Defender "good guys" list - I have raised a ticket but don't know how to follow up - I have tried …

How do you do it? I understand the Controls option Quick Preflight should do it when bound to a controller button but that doesn't work - at least for the SR22 but then I haven't needed to do this on any other aircraft. Nor does the multitude of other options I have seen around the web. The only thing that does work for a cold and dark start is to spawn on the runway with the engines running and get GSX to warp you to a parking spot then shut down the aircraft. I'm really loving MSFS2024, especially the EFB. Who has managed to move the EFB over into their handheld Tablet? I'd like to also control the EFB with my tablet and not with my mouse as a second monitor. Thanks. Jose

[EDIT: Problem solved. The issue happens when I install some old MSFS2020 airports from "SLH Design" into the Community folder. With those removed, the issue doesn't occur. Strange that a scenery would cause this but there you go!] Hey all, Anyone experienced this, or know how to resolve it?

On several flights I have experience MSFS2024 freezes during descent, usually towards the end of an arrival before starting approach. The last test flight was KBWI WOOLY CLIPR3 KDCA. Somewhere around EYESS or BRUNC complete freeze. The original flight using CLIPR arrival was KBOS PATSS7 PATSS NELIE Q75 MXE CLIPR3 KDCA and the freeze occurred making the turn at BRUNC to FELTY. Maybe I missed a post somewhere, or maybe this is just my personal problem, but have the ads on this forum intensified over the last couple weeks? My screen is all of a sudden is littered with ads. I thought maybe it was a virus or a like on my PC but have logged into several different devices with the same result.

Just a heads up. Bijan has got a package out for 2024, including some fixes for a couple of the things that have bugged me (too many broccoli trees etc). Today was my first visit to FS Dream Teams KSFO since SU3 and was pleased to report that the FPS and Graphics are exceptional. My only hardware change was a 5050ti 16gb graphics card so the extra VRAM is helpful. Anyway, you probably already know this but the FSDT KSFO is the best KSFO out there AFAIK especially with City update 13. Treat yourself and buy it if you have an inkling. Cheers dd

HI all, has anyone else noticed getting smooth frames for example running DLSS Quality locked at 60...took off from KSJC and it was butter smooth, once I got to an altitude of like 8000 feet the frames dropped to like 35-45 frames sometimes to 50, stayed there like that on a flight towards Boise with the Fenix, once I was at like 25K I went to settings and changed my settings to DLAA, now its locked at 6o sold for the duration of the flight. Anyone know what this would happen? Yest was the opposite, I was at DLAA, then the frames dropped changed to DLSS Quality and solid 60 for the rest of the flight.

Still recovering from a broken foot....and making good progress with the next project, this time in the mountains of Northern California. Weed is a small town near Mt. Shasta, and its GA airport along I-5 has a great view of the surrounding scenery, as well as a pretty well-known rest stop. Still need to add lots more vehicles, lights, fencing, and some boulders here and there.
