  1. I bought their rudder pedals a couple of weeks ago, Orion 32. They work fine without having to install any Winctrl software.
  2. Same thing happens with the VKB STECS controller.
  3. I've watched all the vids on the new FSFO V6 now and have decided to stick with FS2Crew. A few things turned me off FSFO:- FSFO seems more configurable and has more functionality but that comes with added complexity and effort. The voices didn't seem as nice as FS2Crew. There was a requirement for additional programs (FSUIPC) to make it work. The UI takes up a lot more space and doesn't look very nice. FS2Crew has a toolbar app for VR users if I get a VR headset in the future.
  4. Before the Fenix was released, I used the FBW A320 and they had a good beginners guide:- https://docs.flybywiresim.com/pilots-corner/a32nx/a32nx-beginner-guide/overview/
  5. Was a Fenix FS2Crew user for a couple of years. Coming back to flight sim after a several month break and was thinking should I re-install FS2Crew or try a different co-pilot app. For me it's more fun with a co-pilot app. I've been watching FSFO vids recently, the new V6 looks good, I might try it out instead of re-installing FS2Crew.
  6. Go to Microsoft Store and sign in. If already signed in, sign out and back in again.
  7. Same system specs here and I use 2x frame gen in MSFS 2024 no problems. Latest Nvidia driver, 576.52 but no Nvidia app as I noticed it causing stutters in another game a couple of months ago so removed it. Might be improved now but if you don't need any of its features, then don't install it. Do a clean driver install. Check system drivers are up to date as well:- AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D Drivers
  8. I think the message appears if stick or yoke doesn't quite go back to dead centre when resting. You can increase the deadzone in MCDU control config. I never got this message with my old plastic VKB stick. Bought a new heavy metal VKB stick and the message was appearing. The stick came with a big selection of springs and I replaced the weak default springs with stronger springs which stopped the message appearing.
  9. "Corsair 64GB DDR5 6000 CL30" is currently the cheapest it's ever been at Amazon (£190). So I went ahead and ordered it. I'll sell my existing "Corsair 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30" kit. I'll run some before and after benchmarks when I get it.
  10. Kickstarter now live. $359 with deliveries in May:- VIRPIL Controls | Advanced Flight Simulator Yoke by Dominic Morrison — Kickstarter
  11. I think that one needs FSUIPC.
  12. FS2Crew does this and is cheaper than the paid version of FSUIPC:- https://fs2crew.com/product/fs2crew-fenix-airbus-edition/
  13. There's a Windows update available now (KB5041587). It's supposed to have the "branch prediction optimization" that's going to be in 24H2. https://wccftech.com/amd-branch-prediction-optimization-ryzen-9000-7000-cpus-available-windows-11-23h2/
  14. All working fine. Windows installed with hardly anything in the Start menu 👏. I selected this option "Add user accounts interactively during Windows Setup" in the xml so I could use my Windows account and have it activate.
  15. Just finished upgrading my PC. I was on Win 11 before but this time I installed a de-bloated version of Win 11. You can create the Win 11 install USB as normal using the "media creation tool" on the Microsoft website. Then create a file called "autounattend.xml" and simply copy that to the USB. This website makes it easy to create the xml file:- https://schneegans.de/windows/unattend-generator/ More info here:- https://youtu.be/VapEEf4k7Eo?si=Vy0F0x_RazyVGlmi
