I was in a real quandary. I had been trying to make a critical decision about an important transition. I made the decision last night after reading opinion after opinion on whether I should uninstall MSFS 2020 or just keep it until I see how MSFS 2024 worked out. My decision was based on many comments I read all over the internet from those who said that 2024 will run better on a clean drive with no possibility of interference from another program on the same drive. So just fired up DLSS swapper to put 3.8.1 into MSFS 2020 and noticed I had a new entry in my games list for MSFS 24 and it was still V 2.4.1.2 which I believe was the original DLSS that 2020 shipped with. More of an fyi than anything for those that regularly upgrade their DLSS files. Also noticed SPAD.Next installed a new LVAR bridge v 5.0 that had "basic MSFS 24" listed as one of the new features. I really want to purchase the Premium Deluxe edition, but I get an error that my locations don't match. The MS Store seems to think I'm in California...I'm not! Anyone know how to change the region to say I'm in Canada? I see various states that can be selected, but only in the USA.

Hi folks, So I have been following the news about MSFS2024 and am planning to purchase MSFS2024 via the Steam route at some stage, but today I wanted to remind myself of the pricing for the various versions and what's interesting, at least in Germany, only the Standard Edition is currently available in Steam! While I'm waiting for the sim to start, I checked the DLSS versions that come with the sim: GPU-Z scans for all DLSS .dll files on my system. These are located in the \Content folders for both sims. I've updated MSFS2020 to the latest versions. Interestingly, the "regular" .dll file for MSFS2024 is 2.4.12. That dates back to August 2022. It's a bit puzzling why Asobo chose not to include the latest version, which came with the latest Nvidia driver on November 13th. Anyway, it's easy to update. MSFS 2024 is at decision height. This post is actually inspired by the same topic posted in SOH Forum. I thought it would be relevant to post it here. Mine so far is around 300. I was a late adopter back then, and mostly short routes on GA planes.

Hi, after the latest update to version 1.0.0 my viewpoint in VR is about 30 meters forward and about 5 meters above the cockpit. I did a reinstall which didn't change anything, uninstalled and deleted every single trace of iFly. Reinstalled again and besides a normal 2D, the VR position stayed wrong. Today they announced the nominees of The Game Awards, and I noticed that MSFS 2024 was not in there. Initially, I wasn't surprised. Obviously, it's out too late to be considered, right? Nope. Wrong. Apparently, games are eligible as long as they are released before November 22. MSFS 2024 was eligible this year and will not be eligible next year (because next year, it'll be games from November 23 onward). What airports will I loose if I get the standard vs deluxe vs whatever the other one is. Do not care about the planes. All the planes I fly are addons. Cant seem to get my hands on that info

I prepaid pre-order on the 10th Nov, receipt issued. Now on the 19th when I try to download, I'm directed to an Xbox or PC install, I choose PC, another window opens telling me my Xbox App is out of date and directed to the updates page of my MS account. I've updated anything that says Xbox but am still advised that the App is outdated, I'm stuck in an endless loop for Xbox App update - for a PC Install. Never had this problem back in 2020 when installing then.
