Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Anybody els can't finish setup? I can press the key finish setup what I want but nothing happens.

30 minutes ago or so I was able to enter the sim. While setting up graphic and controls I decided to restart just to finding that earlier message greet me again. Anyone else has this problem? Xbox server now shows green but problem still persist

All the stadium/arenas and downtown buildings are missing. I have PG on but everything is autogenerated. Anyone have similar issues with cities that didn't exist in 2020?

Does anyone see seasons in 2024? I just took off from Chicago and then Minneapolis, and the trees look like July.

Would anyone have, or know where to get, a SPAD snippet/profile for the above? I've tried downloading the snippets available for this, but I cannot get a satisfactory result for the Speed brake or the Autobrake setting. They are just dead. Preferably not a re-direct to Discord, as that's a hopeless means of finding information. Or any other means available to assign those 2 controls?

Worked fine in the tech alpha by clicking on the door knob - right now this does nothing (I can open the windows though). Any ideas?

Just completed (what I think) is my last proper flight in MSFS2020, ending it where it all began back in August 2020 at EGKA, in that time according to the MSFS Log Book I've got a; - Total Flight time of 398 Hours 23 minutes (bit of benchmarking involved so probably closer to 395 hours) - Just the 13 Hours Night Time flying (need this to change in MSFS24!) - Flights logged in Volanta since it was released (no benchmarking) = 197 Hours in 265 Flights, with 32.7k (nm) flown In these 4 years I've literally learnt to fly, whilst I've dabbled in Flight Sims before I never really explored them deeply enough to invest time to learn. "You are in a Que please wait a few minutes or try again later" Been waiting for over 15 mins to play a game I purchased. Never had this happen on 2020... What a word not allowedshow!

Looks like a fix has been implemented, but there's still a queue. Hopefully this means people will start getting in faster. We'll see. I at least got it all installed now, now just trying to get back in.

Just checking with others. In another window, I am running the new program. It says that I am in a queue because too many people are trying to connect at the same time, and I don't remember ever seeing that with previous versions. Anyone else?

Hi, I have the game installed, it ran a Cessna in circles out in Newark before spiraling in, no way to get back to the main menu, forced to use the task bar to end the program. Go to run a second time and I'm stuck in a queue, then you get dumped to a server error/scan code, forced to use the Esc key since the screen goes nowhere, then you restart to end up at the bottom of the queue, then you get the error yet again. Well, I got through to the signup screen where you enter your email. Clicking on the line gives a momentary cursor line, but then doesn't accept keyboard input. Anybody know how to get this to work? Thanks! Russ

Not the most important problem maybe, but it bugs me that I am able to assign axis's, but when I go to adjust sensitivity, the joystick is not working and there's a question mark next to the controller picture. It does recognize the stick when I set buttons and views, etc. I don't understand why this is happening.

Hi, Taking a chance. Looking for a Avro RJ85 Justflight Paint of Delta so I can fly this thing in my virtual in the states It would be fictional of course. There was one made for the BAE-146, so I am hoping. I tried to make a request on flightsim.to but I am either doing something wrong or they refuse to accept my demand. Not sure which.

I am not😄. Been triyng for an hour and it stucks at 70% loading on "new activities" screen. EDITED: 5th attempts so far: no avail.

When I try to take off she just spins left around the yaw axis...even with full right rudder...I have winds set at 0...The regular classic version doesnt do this.

As MSFS 2024 is about to be released tomorrow, I think this video sums up what many of us thought when we first saw the first trailer for MSFS 2020: I remember when I saw the trailer for MSFS 2020, my jaw dropped. I was in disbelief like this guy. The leap in graphics for a civilian flight simulator was just shocking to me. This trailer really put into focus how much the top civillian flight simulators back in 2019 were lagging in technology. And I remember that when I finally downloaded and had my first flight in MSFS 2020, I was blown away. I finally understood then, what flight simulation could be like if it utilized the technology available in 2020.…

Like the incredible actual health and state of MSFS 2020, and its a bit tough beginnings. We will get there sure. Yes, a pity, maybe tomorrow, fingers crossed. I believe and bet for them (Asobo & Co.).

Hey Everyone, Happy launch day...got mine installed and ran it once but then no joy, stuck in the same server overload thing that many are experiencing. However, while I was checking out the menus, I was attempting to download the packs relating to the premium level. I could select them, but then there was no "install" or "download" button. It was very weird, like there was no obvious way to do this. Anyone else experience this? I only have a few a/c in the initial set up and am eager to try others. Stumped.

Hi, How about Asobo/Microsoft ponying up a few payware products to make up for this botched release.

(that is, excluding the cca 500 that was deleted when the 'big accounts delete' happened few yeaars ago.) Considering that (with the exception of the DC6) I fly almost only GA...
