Having flown the Fenix A320 since the initial release, it has just occurred to me that we do not hear what is often referred to as the 'Barking Dog' - the noise made by the Power Transfer Unit when it is transferring hydraulic fluids. I understand that this is less likely to be heard on the newer NEO variants. If I recall correctly, I think this was modelled in the P3D FSLabs version of the A320 and could be heard wherever you were in the aircraft - which I guess is not the case in real life, particularly if you are in the cockpit with the door closed. Just a thought, whilst we await MSFS 2024....................................

Asked this over on the Leonardo forums but I'm not getting answers yet so I figured I'd see if any of you guys knew. I installed the new update, and ever since the load manager won't open, popping the error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002). I looked into that error and it seems it's usually indicative of a C++ runtime problem, so I reinstalled the one that's in the Leonardo folder, and it still doesn't work. Anyone else run across this and can give me a tip? Thanks!

I think I have died and gone to heaven, 😄. The L-1011 has always been my favorite aircraft. I have flown on them 5 times in my lifetime, mainly Delta. I'm more excited for this over any other classic. iniBuilds Tease Upcoming Lockheed Tristar Releasing in 2025

Hi everyone! I used to learn how to fly the 738 Zibo in X-Plane, then I was forced to switch on Airbus when 2020 came out with the A32NX since there was no decent Boeing at that time, then switched to the PMDG 737 again when it came out. I always preferred flying Boeing because I actually have the feeling to be a pilot, not an engineer. I think it is due to the lack of fly-by-wire systems in Boeing planes. Airbuses are too "easy" to fly in a way. Now, with 2024, we will get the Max, the 747 and the C-17, but a LOT of very qualitative Airbuses : A320, A321, A310, A330, the Beluga and the A400M! Historically, flying Airbus or Boeing was mostly about pers…

I bought the Standard 2024 on steam. Had second thoughts because some of the new deluxe and premium planes began to look good to me. Bottom line: I asked Steam for refund on 2024. 42 minutes later they emailed back that the refund was given. However, in the "reason for refund" box when I applied, I said that I wanted the Premium version. They may not have refunded if they thought I was going to later downgrade, instead of later upgrade. So far I have not purchased the upgrade. Did get the refund.

Hello guys! A few days ago, I managed to build my home SIM setup (yoke plus rudder pedals), and this is my first time using one. I built my SIM setup because I want to stay proficient while not flying during winter and adverse weather and to practice multitasking and muscle memory. I have logged only 10 hours of flight time in RL. That said, you can see I am at the early stage of my flying adventure. Yesterday I bought and installed MSFS 2020, I installed also an addon - an airfield for GA where I do my real-life training and I was flying a similar aircraft (C-152 in sim, C-150 in RL) to create the most realistic replica of real training experience because this …

Are there difficulty settings BATC and SI that I don't have set right? Lately, just as a test, I have been taking off from and landing on wrong runways in both BATC and SI to see what happens. And actually ...nothing. For instance, I will land on the wrong runway, ATC doesn't say anything and just tells me to contact ground as if all was normal? Is that the way these programs work, or are there difficulty settings I don't have set properly?

I bought this which is fine except for the heinously wretched performing ground crew that wanders around constantly. The frame rate for this is probably around 4-5fps so you can imagine how bad they look. Is there a method to remove these? I've not found any contact info for MSFSCENERYBUILDERS.

2024 is almost upon us and we're all very excited but there are a couple of things that happened with 2020 that I do not want to see repeated in the new sim 1. Visual Downgrades Asobo, please don't do this to us again. Keep the clouds thick and keep the trees visible to the horizon. By all means, keep the sim optimized but do not do so at the cost of graphical fidelity. Let us have the choice to set everything exactly how we want. I'd rather choose to upgrade my rig to get more performance with all the bells and whistles than have you permanently take those options away in the name of optimization. 2. Dumbing Down Realism We're flight sim…

https://www.gamestar.de/artikel/flight-simulator-2024-test-termin-review-embargo,3422402.html "Due to the availability of online services and the scope of the planned day-one patch update, Xbox will distribute review codes for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on the day of release rather than in advance. We want to avoid testers having unrealistic timelines for completing their reviews, so we have decided against a shortened testing phase. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be playable on November 19 at 5:00 p.m. CET."

So first things first, I want to emphasize that it’s not the end of MSFS 2020 or anything like that because Jorg said MSFS 2020 will continue to be supported, some features in MSFS 2024 may be back-ported to MSFS 2020, and MSFS 2020 will continue to receive Sim Updates. Having said that, as the countdown to MSFS 2024 is coming to the final days before its release, MSFS 2020 is closing out with a bang and encore in the last month before MSFS 2024! In the last month, we had the iFly 737 Max release, the FBW A380 release, the Fenix Sharklets release, and the Just Flight RJ Professional release! This has been the most stacked month of top tier releases, since the s…

Hi everyone, Which of them is better? I have SLC which is really good, but Entourage has no buttons, feels more alive and with Crisis and Ground Operations, I am really on the fence buying it when it is still at introductory price. Anyone has them both?

Although I've owned the Flysimware C414AW since it was released I have never undertaken a serious flight with it. Now I'm planning a longer trip at a higher altitude and I can't seem to find how to operate the pressurization system in the manual, only a picture of the lower panel with the gauges and switches identified. But how to use it? What's good practise? I assume setting a desired cabine altitude and climb rate; but how do I set the switch? 'Pressurize' or 'cabin'. And what about the pressurization air control knobs? Also, I can't find where to set the destination altitude...

Has anyone seen an ad for a new eye/head tracker for the sim? It popped up in my Facebook, but now I cant find it. It uses any type of camara you may have on your monitor already and is very inexpensive. Anyone have a link to it? Thanks

So I've been using addons linker for a while now and it's worked great. After I had to do a full MSFS re-install, a bunch of airports I had on another drive that I was linking to the Community folder now show an error in the Addons Linker application: cannot read manifest.json file. I've tried moving some of the airports to the actual community folder instead of of linking it and they still do not show up, and I've used dev mode to make sure I'm moving it to the correct Community folder as well. I did a fresh reinstall of one of the airports and placed it in the Community folder/linked folder, which then makes them show up in the sim. Is there an issue with the addons the…

I just did the update to the Fenix v2.2.0.473 and although everything else seems to import correctly when I load the Simbrief flight plan, I get a blank, black page with a refresh circle at the bottom in the EFB on the page where the OFP should be. When I click the refresh circle at the bottom, it briefly says "importing from Simbrief" in the center of the screen but no OFP appears... Are you guys seeing the OFP in the new Fenix?

I have been flying around with AI planes disabled because I thought that the hit on performance would be too much for my Jurassic PC. However, I was getting bored of the empty airports, so I activated the AI planes today and conducted a few test flights. To my surprise, the performance hit is nowhere near as much as I had expected. Whilst I have not hit the really big airports/locations yet (and I am expecting these to be a real challenge), I am still impressed with how my PC is handling it all. Bear in mind here that I am running the AI @ 100% (and I have a huge global database of AIG flightplans and models installed). I do not do half measures where AI planes are concer…

I have an old Ipad gen.2, that can't be updated to the latest IOS, and wonder if I can use it in either sim, to use for ie. Little navmap, MCDU, Simbrief, the new Msfs 2024 flightplanner etc., or does it need a newer IOS? If not, will a cheap android tablet be an alternative?

In LPPT I've selected Cargo Loaders as the cargo loading type. I've applied it, confirmed it's active on all gates, however I still get sent conveyor belts. Very frustrating.

So far, I hate it. Been flying this aircraft for a couple of years, Now you can't even taxi it using the rudder only, if you want to make a turn. Back to the 737.

Every time when i fly, mid way my plane turns off lnav and vmav and turns left and goses in a nose dive. The fmc reports when after i stable the aircraft and try to return on AP, " NOT ON INTERCEPT HEADING" Ive done so much flying in the 737, but overall new to the max era. It will miss a turn somewhere then start to go down. I know my fmc is right, had it verify by some people. Any ideas?
