i really wanted to post on Fenix Discord , but i don't like /understand discord 😏, anyway i know the Fenix team monitor this forum, so my teeny weeny little gripe with the Airbus is "Company message " . so i like to fly live schedules and like to get away on time , now i know i can alter time in the EFB and all of that . but when you know you got away on time and then in cruise you get the dreaded " company message " and you think oh maybe i was a minute late or 30 seconds late , and then you open the message and you get " nothing to see here all is good " and i just wished the Fenix team would have a little bit more sympathy for us , after all its just adds to work load…

So unfortunately went into hospital a few weeks ago, then home then back in so apologies if this has been addressed in the past few weeks. I use the VRI 737 overhead and a number of Opencockpits modules including MCP, Dual EFIS, Nav, Com, ATC modules along with the rest of my standard HW. I use a combination of Spad.next for the overhead and OI4FS for the opencockpit modules. Does anyone know if all of this HW is supported and configurable for the iFly? Fingers crossed they are all supported! Thank you in advance. (Mods, can you please leave this here instead of moving to HW support, it is more related to HW support for iFly and far mor…

How in the world do I get rid of this crazy bumping/pitching up and down violently during takeoff and approach??? 😡The decent/approach is completley unflyable! (I wonder how my passangers feel after this "rollercoaster"🙄...) I know this is a "prerelease" but this is just too much!!! Please, anyone? What to do? Best regards Pelle

No prop / engine torque if everything is working fine 🙂 same probably for the other prop effects, other than effectiveness of control and tail surfaces due to slipstream effect ... Fairey Gannet - Start Up & Taxi

Does anyone else have the problem motivating yourself to fly in MSFS 2020 right now? It is not the (still great) sim itself, but I like to have a little purpose around what I am doing. Flying for a VA; running an airline in OnAir, FSEconomy, or some other economic simulation; setting up GSX for an airplane; and son on. With what I have seen about MSFS 2024, I could imagine that any of these activities will soon get a massive upgrade or will be replaced by something in MSFS 2024. For me personally, these thoughts somehow make me second-guessing any flight I am about to start. Is that still worthwhile, or will this activity be obsolete by the end of the month. The sad…

  6. Started by lupedelupe,

I have the PMS GTN plugin running alongside the SWS RV10 (< which is fantastic BTW), but I cannot fathom how to change the CDI on the 650. A 750 unit, of course, has a CDI button on the map screen, but the 650 doesn't. Ordinarily I'd switch CDI modes on the PFD, but the RV10's avionics (insofar as I can see) doesn't allow me to do that (or rather: I have not had enough coffee to see how). Aware that internal or external nav device can be selected, but would imagine external is needed to run along a flight plan in the GTN? Input appreciated ... meanwhile I'll get some coffee going. 😆

  7. What a great lineup for the panel!

Today during a flight with the Fenix A321 while cruising at FL350 and about halfway into the trip (KMCO-CYUL), under very normal flight conditions the AP disconnected and I received ECAM message "AUTO FLT AP OFF". I tried reconnecting the AP but nothing worked. I searched for this message in the QRH but I did not get a hit. I then searched for just "AP OFF", no hits. I took this approach because on the Boeing side, this is how I resolve error conditions and have done it successfully quite a few times using the B738 QRH. I also looked in the MCDU MAINTENANCE section under Failures, nothing there either. I managed to complete the flight and land in bad weather conditi…

  9. I have noted from some YouTube streams of the JustFlight BAe146/Avro RJ that they were wondering why the Speedbrake extends on the ground when no hydraulic system is available. The reason for this is that the actuator that operates the Speedbrake petals is an unequal area piston type. Although the hydraulic system is not available, there is pressure still applied to the actuator from the hydraulic reservoir. So the hydraulic reservoir pressure (50 psi) acting on the unequal area actuator generates sufficient force to overcome friction and the Speedbrake petals move open. However, once Green hydraulic pressure is available, the actuator retracts under th…

I won't be impressed with flight sim until ... the skies come alive with a realistic simulation of all kinds of birds, big and small. And I mean birds in flight, birds in trees, birds foraging on the ground. And bird strikes to aircraft.

  12. Started by Ident,

What airport and why will you chose as your career mode home base in the coming 2024? Personally, I havent decided for myself. In one way I would like to pick a location that has a flight school in real life located on the airport. Other factors would be weather as I'm not sure it we can use live weather in career mode or not. Would be interested in knowing if we can easily change our home base airport as well.

  16. My PMDG 737-800 was working fine with version 3.0.105. I had not experienced any of the problems that I have read in threads on this forum. Today, I updated my PMDG 737-700 and 737-800 to version 3.0.106, and when I spawned the 737-800 on a runway - the cockpit was fuzzy throughout and the plane not flyable. So, I decided to uninstall three of my PMDG products - the 777, 737-700 and the 737-800 - and then reinstall them. - thought a clean install might get rid of any 'bugs' One by one I spawned them on runways and updated the airac through the EFB. The 777 and the 737- 700 opened fine with clear cockpits - but the 737-800 still had a fuzzy cockpit and is not fly…

When FSLTL got launched I decided to delte all my AIG files simply because I was struggling for space at the time. I recently noticed at EGLL there was about a 20fps difference between having FSLTL on and off and I thought, is it really worth it? I know AIG have done a lot of updates to their UI etc since I last had it and I'm wondering if it's worth revisiting.. How is AIG in terms of performance and is it easier to download all the liveries and manage them now?

  19. Support for the excellent open source KLN-90 has now been added to the latest versions of the Sal1800 T206H (which also now has a fantastic system for customising the avionics panel contents and layout) and the Baglou C172 Reims Rocket, Tundra and Tailwheel versions https://github.com/falcon71/kln90b?tab=readme-ov-file https://flightsim.to/file/75081/cessna-t206h https://flightsim.to/file/42097/rf172-reims-rocket-cessna-r172-hawk-xp-ii https://flightsim.to/file/12387/cessna-172-bush-kit https://flightsim.to/file/12978/cessna-172-tail-dragger So if you want to play with this classic GPS unit you can fire it up without having buy the A2A Comanche or Bl…

In the Cessna Longitude G5000 I can create a User Waypoint a certain distance and radial from an airfield. However, how do you draw a dme circle around an airfield or draw a radial from a field? This could be either through the G5000 or Navigraph Charts. These can be very useful on approach.

PMDG 777F Remains in Holding with an Unclear EDCT: There have been a ton of questions about our plans for the 777F as it relates to MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. We have some high level understanding of the process based upon publicly available information provided by the various Microsoft devel…

  25. This is the same rolling cache that most us of turned off and deleted to get our 2020 sims to run smoothly right? Also, I hope you can choose the mesh quality of airports you overfly or fly around before deciding to land. Loading a low quality mesh and then zooming the view for a closer look won't work with sight seeing. Does this mean flying high will mean lower quality mesh also? As long as you can tweak to your preference that's not an issue. The rolling cache makes me go "hmmmmm" though.... CEO and Co-Founder of Asobo Studio Sebastian Wloch ”Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) already had over two petabytes of data on the cloud. That was the w…
