Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

To my surprise, the C182RG which I bought in 2020 shows up as a selectable airplane.. However, the panel lighting is a problem... In daytime, I can see the GNS530, but not the autopilot. Nighttime, the other way around... Autopilot display visible, GNS530 dark.. Does anyone know where bug reports should be directed? Carenado support or Zendesk??

Have anyone noticed tag "not creator approved" on 2020 content that was available before?

Been using spad for years now and they seem to have caught the ASOBO bug. Lost all of my profiles but the list is still there to select. OK great but NOTHING works.....And I have to reverify the account NOTHING has CHANGED! Come on guys.....Is there an alternative? Most likely a silly question. I am considering updating to SU1 beta in MSFS 2024 to use the A350. I have never enrolled in a beta yet and I was wondering what happens at SU1 full release? Do I need to do a full install from scratch again? Thanks

I've seen a lot of videos with real Airbus pilots, and even though it's soo similar to ie the A320, I haven't seen any videos where a real world A350 is flying it and comparing it to the real deal, and what their opinion is about it. Have you seen any YT videos, and maybe have a link, please?

Hello, i have been researching the advantages of limiting for a few days but never limited frames before and now really confused applying to my PC. I turned ON V-Sync both in-game and NVCP. Monitor's G-Sync ON. Locked fps to 60 in NVCP. FG ON. Set monitor's hz to 144. Did i applied right because i'm confused on the setting frame limit option in sim which appears %33-%50-%100 ? Set it to %100 currently. Or is it enough to just lock the frame to 60 from NVCP and turn ON the G-Sync? My specs; 7800X3D 64GB DDR5 RTX4070 2K 144hz G-Sync Monitor

The full name is Swiss International Air Lines but I can't fit the full name in the title due to Avsim's title character constraints: I'm guessing Swiss International Air Lines is banking on people not paying close attention, and don't notice some of the video footage is coming from a flight simulator and isn't real life video footage? To be honest, I had to look closer as well, I didn't realize which parts were from MSFS. I guess that's how good graphics technology are these days (if the flight sim can take advantage of it).

For those on the beta and have flown the Carenado C185, how do I turn on the GNS 430. All of the other avionics turn on but the GPS is dark. Tried the volume knob but that does not work. Thanks, Mike

Apparently Microsoft locks paying customers out of their accounts. I had to reinstall Windows and when I tried installing MSFS2020, I put in my usual one of two passwords and now Microsoft doesn't recognize it. I clicked on the forgot password and it tells me it will mail me a verification code. It never showed up. I don't even remember any screenname for Microsoft. So after three attempts, they locked me out for 24 HOURS??? The password I saved is not working now. I cannot start my sim to install it past the loading screen. Hello folks, I've come to you in the hopes I could receive some aid regarding my MSFS 2020 as I've encountered a stutter that will not go away no matter what I try. I will outline the issue and what I've tried already, please note this is a consistent stutter that never happened before, it happens regardless of settings or location or aircraft and is remarkably consistent. So when I fly, the sim will be buttery smooth and then after 30-40 seconds I will get a group of 2-5 stutters, these are large stutters where the whole sim freezes for a second at least, then a second or so of smoothness then stutter again, repeat. Had this issue since day one with MSFS and thought with one of the updates it would clear up, but it persists. If I end a flight and try to fly a new one using the same aircraft the loading freezes at about one third. It even happens if I restart the sim and try using the same plane as the one that was loaded when I shut it down. I've gotten in the habit of loading a different aircraft and different airport, without pressing fly, and then loading my actual departure airport and aircraft before I press fly. I just go this yoke and although some of the default binds work (beacon and nav lights) the others, like landing lights don't (even though I can see them in Settings). Anyone know what might be the issue? This is with MS 2024

Hi, have not used Auto FPS for a long time. Now using it it did not show my settings. Therefore I downloaded the newer version but it did not work (excemption warning etc) Tried to delete it and it always says to close it. How do I close it if it is not working? Then I tried to cancel in my user> Appdata>Roaming and deleted the MSFS2020-AutoFPS folder and the mobiflight-event-module Folder in my community folder (Steam) and tried to download autofps installer, but it said error. Then I downloaded the Net 7.20 and it still does not work. At the end I then restored the deletet folders COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS and explain what to do?

Is there a way to change the number of inputs per revolution of a elevator trim wheel? Bravo Quadrant Trim Wheel: The number of input signals seen or acknowledged by the sim varies greatly plane to plane. I can find nothing in Setting/Controls that tells the sim how to react to trim wheel signals. The Bravo wheel generates a signal every 20° of rotation but the sim only changes the trim (degrees) per ONE revolution of the wheel varies from 0.5° to 2.0°. However, the CH Yoke produces an signal every time I press a button and the sim changes very rapidly when holding the button down. Is there any documentation about managing the elevator trim?

So I’m flying today and I decided to adjust one of my settings on keyboard (changed from 2020 to 2024 transversal). In doing so when clicking out of the setting menu something changed and suddenly the EFB took over the screen and would not go away. I tried the close box many times to no avail. I restarted sim, EFB came back. Then when trying to use the TAB key I lost all control of the system. It starts, but when i get to the start screen the game won’t start. Once at the start screen the sim does not seem to recognize mouse clicks, tho when I hit start it turns white but no more happens. Ideas short of reinstall. I am having massive issues with the installer, I install it but once I select MSFS 2020 on the drop down menu the entire progam crashes. I have re-installed everything too many times. Is anyone else having this issue ?

Not sure what to make of this but panning the VC in 2024 in the 787X is not very good compared to pretty much total smooth panning with the same plane in 2020. The wide open rate just now at KSFO w/ FSLTL and BATC active was around 92FPS-fg, and I lock that down to 70FPS-fg. When locked at 70 the GPU shows utilization around 70%, and CPU in the mid 80's. Panning is choppy by comparison and I'm not sure what to change if anything. Since frame rate is decent I'm wondering if maybe this is an issue with CPU:GPU bus bandwidth? Right now in this plane I set TLOD at 200, OLOD 150. Other settings all Ultra or maxed. I'm not sure if AutoFPS or DynamicLOD are available yet …
