I didn't even say anything about MSFS 2020 in my opening post!  The Flight Sim Association were talking about it, but that's them.

Maybe take your energy and ask the mods to have a separate MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 forum?

So are we not allowed to post positive things about MSFS 2024?  In this specific case of the opening post, I did not mention anything about MSFS 2020.  Now all positive posts about MSFS 2024 shall be censored, despite this being the forum to post stuff about MSFS 2024?

Like many people I've already done that. All threads are insta-locked and a warning issued. 

Yes of course you can say positive things about your favorite sim! You can even say "imo it's the best of all time" over and over (and over and over and over..) 

Just not in the title. It's all over YouTube and social media these days, headlines and titles written to draw the most people in for an argument. 

If people want to hear one sim is better than the other they know how to look for one sided content.

It’s a flight simulator forum made to discuss flight sim topics. There’s nothing wrong with pointing out strengths of the simulator and comparing to other sims isn’t a bad thing. Why do people take it so personal? If it hurts your feelings just don’t participate…

Like I said, this is the right forum to post these topics. If there is an MSFS 2024 forum and I am posting this thread in the MSFS 2020 forum, then I am out of line and I am posting this in the wrong place. But this is the the forum for MSFS 2024 now. And censorship such that I can only say positive things about MSFS 2024 in the comments of the thread, but not in the title of the thread, is ridiculous.

And like I said, I didn't mention MSFS 2020 at all in the opening post (despite the The Flight Sim Association talking about MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024)!

Is there seriously anyone who is going to come in here and dispute the fact that 2024 is indeed the best at bush flying? Anyone?...Anyone? No? Ok. So the thread moaning makes absolutely zero sense.

Far too many people today getting triggered by a few words. If you're interested in something great comment on it or just read and move on. If your not interested or the tiltle bothers you just move on to the the next thread. why do the smallest and least important things on here bother people so much. And that includes what I've just written.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out the strengths of our favorite sims. Even if it's rehashing the same thing over & over.

While we are at it, how are the roads & car movements. Have they been improved in 2024?

One of the best features of X-Plane 11 was the way the roads were simulated with moving cars. I would love to have this feature in MSFS 2024!

Actually, they have for roads. I don't see the greenish roads as much in MSFS 2024. I don't know what they did, but they must have improved how they layer the terrain and roads in MSFS 2024, to reduce the frequency of those greenish looking roads.

What "bothers" me about these threads is it's never the OP's information and there is this constant comparison.  It's like our weekly 2024 is the best thing ever because series... 

It's always other people's videos and opinions that seem to validate their own so they run here to tell us all with other people's information, opinions and videos that 2024 is the greatest.

Then there is the incessant need for comparisons.  Ironically, you learn very early in a sales career the less you mention the competition the better.   Focus on your own strengths not the competitions weaknesses.  The fastest way to lose credibility is to start spreading negativity about the competition.  

Now, to the OP's defense this is one of the first posts they didn't throw 2020 under the bus in their praise of 2024 which is great but honestly, show us something original.  Show us something YOU saw in the sim.  Show us something YOU experienced but please stop showing other peoples content to try and validate and confirm your own opinion.  

As you can see by the responses in this thread, it tends to be a bit off putting for people, even those who agree with you at this point and I don't think many people would argue the point you are making but as so often is the case, it's not what you are saying but how you say it...

Roads and traffic is one of the biggest improvements I see in almost every 2024 video.  Even the 3 way with 2020, 2024 and Real World you could see the roads were far more defined and traffic looks far improved.  It's the same on my system.  Road and traffic definition was a big improvement for me.   

Another Abrams "MSFS 2024 is the best......." thread......buddy, don't you get tired of posting these? Like for real?
