In my case, FPS always limited to 30 and using either TAA or DLSS, FS 2024 performs smoother than FS 2020 did in all occasions, either flying low & slow or cruising with huge clouds around me.

The clouds at detail high are probably the most heavy on frames though and sometimes I can get a bit of stutters under very dense skies.

There’s nothing wrong with comparing sims don’t let it hurt your feelings, these are desktop based flight sims that we do as a hobby. 
 

We are in a flight sim forum therefore we are going to compare flight sims. Happens in all different categories of forums from cars to planes to dogs and cats. 
 

My opinion is my opinion and yours or others are theirs and yours, just like you thought you share your opinion about my post, who are you to say others can’t share their opinion on other people’s post or other flight sims.

Indeed comparisons are inevitable, but wording is important.

When someone states something is the best/worst or as you have done tell someone  "you've definitely got this wrong", well that isnt really a discussion

That all depends how thick your skin is, in the real world people are blunt and share their opinions sharply, as I did. Anyone is free to disagree with it, that’s why it’s a discussion and opinions are welcome.
 

Anyway, I’m off to fire up fs2024 for a flight into the Gold Coast here in Australia. There’s a cyclone approaching and I look forward to an interesting landing.

All are in the MSFS forum and say MSFS is the best. 

NONE mention 2020 OR 2024.

In the p3d forums I'd expect the occasional "p3d is the best " thread. But "p3dv4 is still the best" or "p3dv6 slams v5" would be annoying. 

Especially every. Single. Week. Without. Fail.

In the end no better or worse is based on personal opinions and that is how comments should be treated. Other than that I'm sure that people pass through here incognito with various commercial interests today unfortunately everything works like that on the internet.

Low, and high, go to the included Grand Canyon National Park Airport in FS24, and follow the line of MSFS Pois, textures high, grass-buildings-trees-stones at least low if you want, and wow, in VR with DLSS in performance it was a re-discovering, and then I did it with FS20, and wow, how word not allowed is FS20 VS FS24 in that place, compare it yourself haha.

If this path continuous and MS solves the CTDs-performance-bugs etc. and do what community needs like in FS20, the time to swap totally from FS20 to FS24 is not so far for me.

Don’t be upset it’s ok, it’s just flight sim. Don’t stress. if the mods shut it down they do. Don’t let the mod overlords stop you from voicing your opinion (respectfully).
