  1. I used it yesterday in Sydney to tow the MD11 from the new 100 bays in Sydney Airport to the Cargo Terminal and it done quite good, but yes it did have its moments going too fast during pushback and pull. Wonder if the pushback speed setting is tied into it?
  2. Here in Australia were a little less cryptic, we say it how it is, but if I say how it is, back to you, I'd probably get some time off by the admins 🤫
  3. Calm down tiger didnt mean to offend your overlords, some of us have businesses/jobs just got around to watching it and I stand by statement. The beauty of forums... being able to have your own input just like you do. Yes they're fixing the sim and adding some great addons but nothing major about the weather. Dont worry I still think its the best sim out there for now.
  4. Haven't watched it yet but disappointed reading about the weather comments, after all this silence you'd think they were cooking something exciting. Let's face it 2024 is now just in its maintenance phase, throw in a few city updates and planes until they get the next sim ready. No doubt we'll see weather the main theme in the trailer $$$.
  5. This and the A300, what I'm waiting on.
  6. *ABACUS C42B Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020* Jokes aside, not a good way to enter the flight simulation addon space
  7. This is the only addon im waiting for at the moment 😃
  8. Terrible!!
  9. Personally I feel they've cut back $$$ plus there's no new version releasing so no need for any hype.... remember all the videos leading up to 2020 and 2024 with all these hurricanes and weather events.
  10. I've thought about this as well. Would be awesome if they did make one
  11. Depends man, if they were talking about Turkish coffee, the effects might be around for a while
  12. Which often do not have the exact behaviour of an aircraft. There is way too many variables and data points of a plane flying through the air for it to ever be 100%. With our current tech anyway. Who knows what the future holds. I think what we have now with 2024 is great, they just need to work on the weather and turbulence simulation, you shouldnt be able to fly through thunderstorms in a Cessna and just get a little bump here n there. If you like p3d, why would you not like 2024 is my question, you get everything that p3d gives you plus better visuals, world data streaming, modern gaming engine, more acurate flying with CFD simulation and much more. As much as I agree that you can have your own opinion, I feel this is just another monthly, "Im bored let me write up something to stir up the pot" post. I'm pretty sure we get these at least once or twice a month.
  13. This also means more money directly to the developers which I'm all for.
  14. Have you tried flushing your shaders cache?
  15. Don’t quote me on this, but I think the airbus has a certain degree of nosewheel movement with the rudder pedals below a certain speed. The ped disc button ensures when doing rudder checks the nosewheel doesn’t move at all. If you use a tiller ( in my case a joystick Z twist) and taxi push the rudder pedals and you’ll see the nose gear move left or right a little, if you push the disc button the rudders move but the nosewheel doesn’t, at all.
  16. YouTube has some tutorials. Activate developer mode and create a new package by following the prompts! They’ve made it a little easier in 2024 to create a package
  17. I think theres nothing wrong with a developer simulating how the aircraft is supposed to be handled, after all thats what a flight simulator is, simulating the charectersitcs and behaviours of an aircraft during all phases of operations and flight. And if you were to operate it wrong, there should be consequences. I do agree however, that you can never get the true feeling of an aircraft on a desktop flight sim (unless youre on a motion platform with VR, that would be something else), but there should be some sort of consequence for not operating the aircraft properly, or atleast the option to. Failures etc are a good thing on addons as they can be set to on or off in most aircraft. As you said, each to their own!
  18. Definitely agree, I tried the 2020 version in 2024 and it was bad on performance and ground glitching. Such a nice airport to fly into
  19. Buy flight sim 2004 and go to the learning center, I think the instructors name was Jane (I might be getting it mixed up been a long time) but i remember it being very informative back then.
  20. You need to get the Fenix bus man no doubt!
  21. You need to turn off traffic quality and traffic settings in the graphics menu to off and low.
  22. You underestimate how geeked out on every detail flight sinmers can be, including myself lol.
