Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Is nosewheel steering available on this aircraft as it is the only aircraft I have without it. I find it almost impossible to steer using engine power and right or left braking. I love the aircraft but it looks like becoming a hangar model. Any help will be appreciated.

Well, Inibuild being inibuild. Everything great except performance and optimization. I have RTX 4090 and I9 14900K and the plane told to be a bit better than Fenix, runs very bad than any other developer planes. Does anyone else have issue with it in 2020? 2024 seems to be smoother

Hello, In several, if not all planes, my interior view drifts down endlessly. I reset, it drifts down. I go external and back, it drifts down. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Flying in any of the default GA aircraft - it seems to my eyes that the windshield effect is over done. Looking thru the glass - the world is blurry, reduced color and contrast, and there seems to be a "gauze" effect. I have tried setting Windshield to Medium in Graphic options but doesn't do much to help. Is this real life? If Not - how do I reduce the windshield effect? I

Roll right/clockwise at the full range of power settings in FS 2024? I have long uninstalled FS 2020, so I can't test it there, and I believe I didn't even have those models in my std version of 2020, but I don't recall seeing this happen with the twin prop addons I had for2020... Being CW rotating props, at most left rolling and yawning tendencies should be present, but instead these aircraft "want" to roll right an require using aileron trim and/or rudder trim to overcome that tendency, but it doesn't make sense??? I tried o edit the corresponding cfg files with no success because they're encrypted 🥴

I used to NOT like the weather accuracy in MSFS 2024, so I purchased Active Sky for 2024. However, recently, I've noticed that the default weather in 2024 is MORE accurate than Active Sky. What are your thoughts on this? Has a recent update in 2024 tweaked the default weather to be better when the sim was first released? I found snow at my home airport (KABE) with Active Sky today, and when I used the default weather, the snow was gone (which was accurate) and the weather looked exactly as it did outside my window.

So very interesting discovery while on my long haul tonight regarding Active vs Passive mode (Live weather) and blurries or "orange blobs" at night. A few weeks ago or months ago, time seems to accelerate as you age (LOL) I was having a discussion around how MSFSOG (2020) looks sharper than I have ever seen. Starting at a gate automatically the engines are not running, Starting on a runway and the engines are running. Sometimes I do not have the time to start up from Cold and Dark, so I want to taxi as soon as possible (using the Prosim 738 ). Now I have to Slew to a gate. Is there no other way ? Perhaps a tool that puts you at the gate with engines running ?

I'm about six weeks into FS2024 ownership. I know it's a new platform and will have bugs, but the ATC on this is seemingly out of control, particularly when compared to FS2020. For instance, as soon as I lift off I'm asking for flight following whether I want it or not. I can live with that. But, if I file a flight plan...as soon as I take off it's handing me to traffic control, and then the nuttiness begins. I (the virtual pilot here) am asking for a change in destination which ATC grants and then immediately wants me to fly at a ridiculously low altitude, usually between 1700 and 2400 feet which is much to low for anything bigger than a 172. I purchased the TRPG scenery from the iniBuilds store for MSFS 2024. Unfortunately, it's unusable as the runway and taxiways are filled with trees. I'm using MSFS 24 SU1 beta. I tested the default scenery, and it doesn't have these trees on the runway and taxiways Anyone with the same issue or a workaround ? Thanks

For the past two weeks I've been unable to retrieve nav data from the in-sim default map (V). Used to right-click on nav icon/airport on map and the data (rwy hdgs, freqs, Lat/Lon) would display to the right side of the map display. Not sure if I did something silly, or did an update remove this function. Any help would be appreciated. TIA..

After seeing WT mentioned fixes to the VJ specifically on their Discord I decided to go into the SU1 beta after all. Couldn't wait anymore. At first I though there was a bug with the screens because they were all rather dark... but then I found out you can now set the brightness with the rotation knob! Very cool! I also was very happy to see the checklist (on the PFD) finally works! But that was it... I still get the TAKEOFF EMER BATT error and the TO/GA button now doesn't work anymore...! So now I wonder if the VJ fixes are actually in the beta or not... The mentioned fixes are more like general MSFS fixes, it seems. Anyone knows more about this?

Just curious what people are using for FSlabs simbrief profiles. I don’t believe there are any available specific to download. Would the Fenix ones work in theory? I ask because a full pax load in simbrief never gives me full pax in the sim

I spent most of yesterday learning how to fly the A350 (pre-update) using MS2024 without any problems. Then later in the afternoon I noticed I could not load a any flight even C172, selecting an aircraft and airfield in the in map screen then pressing the 'Start Flight' The airfield would load and I could see buildings slowly loading in the airfield but it would not zoom to the plane just a spinning circle in the bottom right of the monitor. I thought no problem I'll use MS2020 to carry on learning the A350 only to discover the MS2020 icon on my desktop was missing (its been there for four years). Hi: I recently purchased 2 different Caribbean airport packages. They both came 1 airport that is the same (TGPY). When I installed the packages, there was no option to select which airports to add and/or omit. When I go into my Content Manager, they both show as installed. However, I cannot remove/disable the one I want to remove. I've looked in each packages' folder in my community folder and there is no distinct files that label that airport so I can't just delete files to make it go away. Any ideas? Thanks!

When starting up FS2020, the opening screen shows a plane flying to a island .Where is that?

My MSFS is constantly freezing when selecting aircraft in selection menu and then stays frozen until I kill the MSFS via task manager. I don't know happened but after installing inibuilds A350 update last night it seems something has either broken or corrupted something within MSFS. I tried updating my GPU drivers to latest as well as restarted my PC several times but no change. I have also removed inibuilds A350 temporarily but no change & no matter what I do - Once I try to select aircraft in the menu MSFS freezes to death. Any recommendations/fault finding tips?
