I am flying the Orbx Idaho FireLookouts sceneries with two different STOL aircraft in MSFS 2004 The Zenith CH701 is fun and fine to fly off these extreme strips The Zlin Aviation Shock Ultra which should have similar attributes is almost unflyable at the low landing speeds required Is there a reason for this? Anything I could do to make the Zlin fly more like the Zenith? xxd09

"Launching Game" window takes much more than the usual 8s to end with an error message " For this game you must be online .... or the Xbox server are down ... " It may be an xbox server problem, but I cannot see any issues with Xbox. Xbox status, all is checked green.

Hi why do I have smoother performance in windowed mode instead of full screen at least with 24 vs 2020? I have my frame locked at 40 and when in windowed mode it's smooth but once I go to fill screen it's super choppy. I'm also running a monitor with a refresh rate of 240. In fixed framed mode instead of GSync.

MSFS2024 is in use. I am not using Expert Mode in AutoFPS - I have Auto Target FPS selected. At the bottom of the window I see 'TLOD Pri Day 300', and I see the TLOD has been set as 300 with the OLOD also set to 300. MSFS is notorious for only displaying airborne traffic for a short distance. This is very annoying when using PSXT/RealTraffic to observe traffic at an airport - shortly after take off traffic disappear from view. My aircraft is parked at the airfield so is less than 100ft. There are 3 or 4 threads on the official forum of people suddenly losing ability to either walk, or look, or both (when in avatar mode after taking command of the character (Shift C). Someone posted in that forum, to cure these issues just "reset" msfs2024. Windows Settings, Apps, Installed Apps, dotts, Advanced Options, Reset/Repair. It took about 20 seconds after clicking Repair for me. And then all my problems went away. My issues was that Walk still worked but Look did not (neither keyboard nor my controller maps). My understanding is that the developmental version (or is it experimental version?) of the FBW A320 works in MSFS 2024. So for the people that have used the FBW A320 in MSFS 2024, how does it compare to the either the iniBuilds A320, or iniBuilds A321, in MSFS 2024?

LS used to work fine and now in 2024 when I activate my whole screen goes black and locks up the PC. I can alt tab and see the apps running but cannot get back to them, any ideas?

Hey guys, several times I have done some flight plans and have pulled them up to fly them in the Longitude but for some reason the VNAV gives no information. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and why I'm not getting the VNAV information. The flight plans are IFR. Sometimes I don't use a departure procedure but usually end with an ILS or RNAV approach. Sometimes I get the information sometimes I don't. Not sure if it is my fault in how the flight plan is set up or what. I use LITTLNAVMAP to do my flight plans. Would appreciate your input. Almost exclusively fly the Longitude and really like the VNAV when it is working. Thanks for your help.

I've just reinstalled because of a number of issues and I can't seem to control the camera/position on the flight deck. I used to be able to use A to move left, D for right, W forward and S backwards. Now only the up and down arrows move to increase or decrease height. How do I get the A, W, D and S keys to move me around as before? Thanks

MSFS 2020 I think there is a problem with the AFD file at IniBuilds EGNM Leeds Bradford. I am only seeing airliners parked at Stands 7 and 8, and these are the two that are defined as GATE. The other stands are defined as RAMP, but I do not ever see airliners parked at any of these (only the occasional executive jet). I thought at first this was because I had purchased the product on the MS Marketplace (with the associated eternal waits for updates), but I seem to have the latest version installed (1.0.2). I am surprised that nobody else has noticed this. Can anyone please confirm if you have the same issue? I am using the AIG AI database.

Little Navmap 3.0.16 installed (32 and 64 bit) and all ok on my first PC (MSFS2020) Crashes when installed on a second MSFS2020 PC. Error message says LNMap previous startup (which was the first run of the new install) did not Exit properly.

My test for smoothness is taking off from KLAX 25R (default but NOT Asobo enhanced) then turning towards KBUR - if I get stutters there, then I’ll probably run into trouble elsewhere. I have things set so that I can take off very smoothly with the Asobo PC-24 or the Inibuilds A310 or A330, but the default Asobo 737 Max creates several stutters on takeoff and once airborne. I suspect my 10900K CPU just isn’t strong enough for a stutter free experience as the CPU is probably also getting hammered by rendering Los Angeles autogen. I remember in 2020 the MD-82 by Leonardo was terrible on my rig and the BAe-146 could be as well…maybe they just use more CPU? …

MS2020 will not load past a certain point despite re- installing four times. How do I get Microsoft/Asobo support for this problem please. Can't find the correct section in Flightsimulator.com.

Just today I experienced something I had never had before. My FPS went from 30 to 8-10. However when reaching 80kts and airborne, it all went back to normal. I can reproduce the scenario 3-4 times with the same result. This happens only today. I am using LSFG Adaptive Mod to 60FPS. Is this server/connection issue? Thank you.

i got the a350 a few days ago and the first flight was flawless. But then disaster struck. I tried to fly this morning but the sim had other plans. I loaded the flight and before spawning my sim crashed. Then again. Then with all airports and all planes. I reinstalled the sim, i cleared my community, i cleaned my WASM folder and nothing. There were a few times my plane spawned, but it either crashed shortly after, either crashed when i went back to the menu. I was in SU1 beta, but then i tried even to exit SU1 beta and still word not allowed. Its been almost 4 hrs and i am out of idea. Anyone have any idea? Cheers

Since flying with MSFS2024 I frequently observe scenery tiles or parts of it where everything is colored mint green or green while flying in it's neigborhood. This green color is painting all of the ground as well as the buildings green all over. I expected this would be solved after SU1, however I still observe these significant and very strange false scenery colors frequently. I see it both with or without the map enhancement app. It's only randomly placed parts of the scenery that show the false colors, however it always occurs in the vincinity of the airplane. I don't have the expertise to decide if this is hardware related or software or settings. Any sugge…

I have got the Honeycomb Charlie rudder pedals but they do not work properly in MSFS 2020 or 2024. When I start to taxi if I try to follow a taxiway I cannot because they follow a very shallow arc usually across the grass and end up on a hill or building somewhere. They are set up correctly (I think) and I really do not know what to do. I wonder is someone might be able help me. Thanks. Kind regards Richard
