The best will still be the hyper-accurate rendition in DCS World, but it's well worth the relatively low cost in MSFS, even just for the stunning graphics and atypical flight sim experience. I'm hoping they're able to take advantage of the new flight model and ground physics - this non-fly-by-wire beast is at its best. And hoping that their previous Tomcat gets the 2024 treatment! TL;DR which is better on performance Nvidia Filters or Reshade? I've been using Reshade for a while now, and I really like what it adds to the sim...the picture quality is phenomenal. However, I recently decided to a real time "on" vs "off" comparison with the default lighting and discovered that with the shaders I have selected, there is an 8-10 FPS hit (4-5 normal frames). I wasn't really expecting that since I'm not using things like bloom, DOF, etc that can be performance heavy. I've been reluctant to install the Nvidia app since it's yet another program running in the background, but if it proves easier on performance, I may give it a whirl. Thoughts?

Easy to do. Copy from Official 2020 folder, over to the Offical 2024 folder. Done ! No need to wait for the 2024 Library to open. Everything you bought in marketplace 2020 can drop right into 2024. Being a fan of VR, I moved the Asobo Top Rudder 103 into 2024 because this high wing open cockpit ultralight has tremendous views every minute of the flight in VR. As he says at 2:00 in video, this is the best plane for a vertigo immersion into all 3 dimensions.

Never had any problem with clean engine starts up and running before the update. Now after a good start, they both fail. I know the proper engine start procedure,as I have completed many flights in this great bird before the update. Any answers here would be welcomed. I did go to the discord but cant find a solution.

So since I started using MSFS on a different partition than P3D I never bothered with Process Lasso which I used heavily to choose core affinity and process priority. I've basically just set it and forget it on my MSFS partition. Well now that I've got MSFS, AIG, ASFS and a couple less CPU/memory intensive apps all running on the same machine (used to run AS networked) I definitely feel like I am seeing the performance hit. Hello all, Early this year my headset I had for donkeys years died, it was good for sound (cups were uncomfortable though) and the microphone was great. But with lots of these on the market I didn't want a cheap and half quality one, I wanted a decent one that would also last. After some YouTube vids I landed myself with the Turtle Beach Atlas Air, and it really is good for sound BUT the microphone is absolutely rubbish and sometimes it won't work either. And I've found the headpiece is thick and can barely get my TrackIR Clip Pro to fit on it. It's worse than default 2020 ATC in the few flights I've done involving mountainous approaches it's hard to believe but it's true. Just completed KBJC>KSHR in 2024 and I have no idea how and why BATC chooses a particular runway for example at this northern Wyoming airport which gets little commercial traffic it sends me to a visual at Rwy24. That's fine, but I wanted to change runways so requested that and so I request a different runway it says, ""Confirm NEW APPROACH Visual 24". Sorry, wrong answer to the request made. Hello all I had a question regarding msfs 2024 multiplayer connections. I know there are several ways to purchase msfs 2024, mine was via win 11 xbox app aka (GamePass). My question is when adding a player/friend for flying do you all have to have this xbox app to do this? I guess I am confused with adding friends in the xbox app and adding friends in msfs 2024 is it the same thing?? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but MS has me very confused, not to mention the gamebar, i've heard I do not need this, but keeps nagging me to install it?? Thanks for anything you can add. Just wondering if anyone else having the same problem. In the Fenix livery after pushback I have no problem, I can taxi as normal. With an addon livery in the Fenix after pushback the aircraft will not budge, even on full throttle. Am desperate LOL

Hey guys, Is there a list of third party addons which are 100% ready for MSFS2024 Or is every developer trying to figure out on what to do with the alpha state MSFS2024 is in. Debating should I just reinstall MSFS2020 and revisit MS2024 in August of this year? I have zero time to do hacks, mods and stuff. I was in a different situation during the P3D/FSX era...I had the time to do it then. So far Black Square, A2A, PMDG are not ready? is COWS DA-42 ready? Now that the Marketplace/Library allows 2020 aircraft to be enabled for 2024, I got the 2020 G58 Baron going.. but realized that the G1000 does not support flight plan loading from the EFB. Luckily, you can edit the 2020 panel.cfg file and drop that modded file into the Community folder... and it works! ☺️ Now after using a couple of days the Winwing MCDU with our Airbuses i have to say it feels just beautiful and more real and so i would say in my opinion it is a 100% gamechanger and a 100% funfactor more for me in doeing Flightsimming !! In MSFS it sometimes was needed to uninstall the Asobo version . Eg : If I install AS Frankfurt EDDF do I uninstall the MSFS 2024 to avoid issues ? Or does it work differently now ?

Looking for opinions. Trying to fly to Melbourne for the F1 race this weekend. Obviously YMML would be the obvious choice but reading online it gets very mixed reviews whereas FT YSSY seems to get overwhelmingly positive reviews. Am I better off spending my money on YSSY and just getting to Australia and calling it a day or is Orbx YMML worth it? Hello, I'd like to know if you're going through the same thing as me. I thought the SU1 might fix it, but even though I bought a faster plane (PC24) for my cargo business, I still have missions going to and from airports that are too small, like the bush trip. It's impossible to adapt the missions to the type of aircraft. However, I'm sure that in real life there are freight transports to ‘important’ airports! 🙂 Honestly, as much as I liked the career, I'm starting to get bored. Franck

Hi, id like to give a review of an addon. Houses 2024 by project coastlines. You can visit and stay in the penthouse of a skyscraper in Miami, Hong Kong and Rio. Or have a villa in Miami or bahamas, more is coming. You can even place the villas or skyscrapers to your own location of preference. I would like to know , how to add the buildings using sdk, somebody? So, you can land and visit/stay inside apartments, The penthouse has nice views, the vila is a villa in Miami. but i havent yet tried bahamas. Hi there! I’m not the most experienced flight simmer and I’m looking for some expert advice! I like to be quite realistic with my flights and in sim I often fly the Airbus A330-300P2F to and from Glasgow International EGPF and I’m curious as to how realistic this is? Is there any way to see which stand supports which aircraft types as on the LIDO charts I don’t see anything that mentions where I can park (although I’m still learning how to read those). The cargo stands 65,64 at Glasgow seem to be suitable but in sim it’s a little bit tight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated but please don’t say “try Prestwick!” 😆

This looks very weird. You can see the shadow of the ac while flying as if it is standing on the ground ? ! Right window : the ac shadow lies over the terrein 3000 ft lower …. Here you can see the tails shadow passing by …. This is the Extta window made in MSFS 2024. Is there a way to turn off my own shadow ?
