I tried to duplicate a flight done in 2020 this morning from KMSP>KDEN in the 787X but in 2024 KMSP a bunch of jetways and not much else was at that airport, despite a restart hoping that might populate the rest of the airport. I don't see the EFT in the 2024 plane being able to create and output the performance numbers as it does in 2020 and hopefully I'm missing something it would have been a first flight in something other than mainly the Longitude in 2024 so I ended up aborting. Is it possible to get those CALC numbers into the Takeoff page in the FMC as one could in 2020's 787X thru MSFS 2024's EFT perhaps?

I see a lot of live streams up that are showcasing the iniBuilds A350. If you see other live streams, please list them here in this thread. I'll start with edwardthepilot since he is a real airline life pilot (formerly CRJ I think, but now flies the A220 I think): https://www.twitch.tv/edwardthepilot V1-Simulations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCO4-SbqYdY LondonController: https://www.twitch.tv/londoncontroller Kenco: https://www.twitch.tv/kenco Easyjetsimpilot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywr7dMZrV4w CptCanada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdOjwTAVBLk

Hi Team, I've been flying the PMDG products for over 12 years now stemming from fs2004, just like to say thank you for the products you have released and because of the in depth learning I'm glad to say I'm a real world pilot on the 737NG. Honestly anyone inspiring to become a pilot, sim fly as much as you can as it: -Increases your capacity 10 fold - during a type rating you could really stand out. -R/T calls in real life are similar if not exactly the same as real world procurers if flying on vatsim for example I'd like to give back in my own time as a thank you for over the years , Does anyone know if PMDG are accepting BETA testers at the curr…

After installing SU1 Beta3, my custom RV14A livery appears to work.. No overwriting of the registration, inside or out, and ATC correctly identifies my callsign.. Is this a fluke, or have they fixed it?

This may also work for the non-beta version, I have no way of testing. I notice that some addon vendors use a custom version of the "registration" module in their airplanes. As a test, I copied one over and tried it in my A36, and TBM850.. both of which had font colour problems in the VC. To my surprise, the A36 and TBM now have the correct colour for the internal reg. If you are interested, try this.. 1. Download and unzip this into your Community folder: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/w6g7d77l54oh74ydttra3/vc-vliveries.zip?rlkey=1du2xrn2ldo3cuixowl7puh5q&st=b6fd4bex&dl=0 2. Edit the panel.cfg file and change Registration.html to Re…

I was thinking of adding another good prop to my collection. And I got it narrowed down to A2A Comanche or Flysimware C414. I'm interested in any recommendations on which to take the plunge on. Appreciate your thoughts from simmers who own any of these props.

I can't see them from afar in MSFS 2020. Apparently, they've been improved and viewable from a distance in MSFS 2024. They're supposed to be viewable from about 3-5 miles during the daytime and up to 20 miles on a clear night in real life. Have they improved much and are more realistic in MSFS 2024? Are they useful and can they be relied on in MSFS 2024?

So I am very impressed with the new ground physics in MSFS 2024. FYI, I am not a real life pilot, but I do drive a car in real life. As you may know, MSFS 2024 uses AI to place procedurally generated rocks across the entire world. You may be thinking, so what? Well, the rocks that are placed procedurally around the entire world, can affect the plane if it rolls over the rock. From my testing, the rock has to be a certain size, before it impacts the plane's tires. If the rock is too small, it doesn't seem to have an impact. But if the rock meets a certain minimum size, it will impact the plane's tires as the plane rolls over the rock: Now MSFS 2024 al…

So like everyone I got the Airac update and immediately noticed that performance seemed off with a lot of new stuttering. Checked DLLS and sure enough it had reset the DLSS FG file back to 3.5 I believe it said. Updated back to the latest and problem solved, performance was restored to stutter free. Not sure if anyone else will run into the same or why an Airac update is changing FG files but just in case you noticed a performance change since the Airac update it is something to check.

Installed a new MSI RTX 4070 Super yesterday and it runs MSFS 2024 like a dream - almost all settings at Ultra with OLOD and TLOD > 200. DLSS NO Frame Gen, Quality and still get about 50 FPS at KSAN with the ORBX KSAN add on. But... the GPU runs so HOT - in MSFS 2024! Flying over KSAN and around San Diego the GPU is always > 82°C but never exceeds 88° C. PASSMARK, TimeSpy, SuperPosition GPU benchmarks only get the GPU to the mid or upper 70° C range. When the sim is loading or moving from Free Flight to Ready the GPU is at 81°C. I installed the GPU in a new Thermaltake CTE1500 Air case with four 120mm fans with one each on either side of the GPU…

Past 3 years of flawless enjoyable flights in MSFS 2020 from GA to Airliners, now every flight ends in CTD, thinking it might be the latest Nvidia 572.16 driver, I rolled it back but still, the same problem exists. I don't have the this issue in MSFS 2024. Eventviewer tells me that Flight simulator.exe is the culprit ("Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.38.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe") Is anyone having this problem in 2020 and can anyone offer a fix.

I used to see aircraft vapor rails in XP12 and I think I remember seeing them with AIG/RealTraffic and PSXT. However, I can't find an option in MSFS or any of the other packages to turn on aircraft trails - is this possible in MSFS2024?

The turbine Duke looks great. I note that it appears to come with a variety of avionics including the GTN750. Is that just the standard version of the GTN750 which does not allow importing flight plans from LNM or Simbrief? If so will a subscription fee to PMS allow it to be upgraded in the turbine Duke? Thanks

My last few flights done today have had very poor detail on large buildings about 2 miles ahead when at low level in CAVOK conditions with good lighting, this seems to have coincided with my graphics settings being changed without my input, I think I have now reset to what I was using previously but this low detail building thing persists. Its as if its on a very low LOD setting but only affecting buildings (my LOD settings are same as previous -150 for both) Anyone else got this?, or is there some setting I dont know about?

A question for the Comanche lovers out there. When using the 530/430 stack, I have no problem using NAV1 to drive the HSI when set to vloc, but for the life of me I can’t get the VOR-ILS/OBS under the JPI engine monitor to respond to either NAV source with or without the OBS set on the 530 while in vloc mode. I can’t get it to respond at all no matter the combo. Am I missing a switch on the Comanche panel? Or is this a limit of the 430 only handling GPS with RNAV approaches? I’m a little confused.

I feel like I am going to sound like an old timer but back in the FS9, FSX days, we were luck if we got a solid 20fps. Fast-forward to today times and sims are easily getting high fps. I turned off looking at fps some time ago on my old computer in FS2020. Seeing post where the user is stating they are getting 70fps and then it going down to 45fps or something like that due to an addon, doesnt make the addon bad or an issue. Everything taxes the computer and the reason why you have 70fps is to give head room for those addons. I get VR users are in need of fps info because they need double the frames but seriously, for all non VR users, cant you just determine if the …

This looks like a real beauty, and I’d love a nice re-creation of the very first airliner I ever flew on (Northwest 727, boarded via those ventral stairs back in 1979!). Is it more or less functional in 2024, and flyable, or does it have some serious issues (until they update it at least)? How does it impact CPU load/FPS vs. default airliners? thanks….

I'm starting to lose track of where we are with these. I know SU1 is still in beta and work is ongoing for SU2 but have Asobo given any timescales or likely release dates for either? We were suppised to have the Brazil update in December, then Asobo said they had run into a few problems with it, so it was delayed until January, then February and now March is only 5 days away. Can anyone who has been able to keep themdelves more up to date than me remind us where MS/Asobo are with yhe above as I was certainly expecting the Brazil update and SU1 before March.

Great news. Surprised that there is still no topic about this excellent news. I have been waiting for descent 737CL for decades. Several projects were starting the develpment of 737CL but all of them ceased... The God has heard my prayers 🙂 https://msfsaddons.com/2024/11/17/css-shares-more-updates-on-the-boeing-737-500-for-msfs/

Since the day it started happening, my FPS has been consistently cut by 50-60% mid-flight. I have my FPS capped at 25 and use LSGG X2 to get a solid 50 FPS. However, no matter what aircraft I fly—whether it’s the Cabri, R66, Taog's Lama, H125, or others—the FPS always drops mid-flight and never returns to normal unless I restart the sim. The timing is inconsistent; sometimes it happens 15 minutes after takeoff, other times it takes longer, but it always happens. This issue is frustrating, persistent, and severely overlooked. I’ve scoured multiple forums (including AVSIM and Reddit), and many users seem to experience this, yet there’s still no fix. Any update tha…
