I have many flight plans installed using AIG. I have PSXT installed to display these aircraft in MSFS. Problem I have is PSXT giving an error 81 - apparently this error is describing MSFS not seeing the AIG folders. I have read many replies that the AG folders need 'activating' in MSFS before MSFS can display aircraft requested by PSXT. However, I have not seen how to actually do this. The PSXT author has said many times this is not a PSXT issue - I know it isn't, but I cannot find an answer to this. Those using AIG/PSXT, did you have this problem and found how to fix it? Well, it all started when sometime ago I purchased a DC-3 for X-plane 12 and noticed a weird phenomenon - at pretty much all power regimes and speeds it tended to roll right, opposite of what I expected given the prop from the CW rotating props... I started making tests with other twin prop aircraft in X-plane and found that all but the default Baron 58 had that same behaviour, with the C90 being notorious. Hi, i have a weird behavour, when i have the taxi lights and runway Turnoff lights of the PMDG 737 (no light mod installed, already testet) and i taxi very slow <15 knots the Apron texture has a weird very annyong flickering where the light hit. Does anyone know what causes it? because it is quite distracting when taxiing around at night 😞 IMG_1650.MOV

This has happened with five GA planes in stable level flight and AP set to HDG or NAV/VOR or NAV/GPS. The problem seems to be in the Garmin G1000. It has happened with a CH Yoke and with a TA Pilot 320 Flight Stick. Plane very suddenly makes a sharp descending bank to left and enters a tight spiralling dive. I can usually recover if I have 5,000 feet or more to work with. Everytime it happens I find the elevator trim set to 100% DOWN AFTER I turn off the AP. That is why it is hard to recover - I have to manually move the trim back to the appropriate setting for that plane/power setting. It is a rare occurrence but has happened many time. I have…

Or, at least I think I’m having trim problems. I appear to have my vertical stabilizer trim correctly mapped to my usual two buttons on my Thrustmaster 1600 and they appear to function correctly (I can see the trim wheel moving up and down). But if I try flying a pattern in say the default C90 I quickly start finding that I’m needing to change pitch a wee bit up or down, but it just doesn’t have the normal effect - in several planes (the C90 and Cessna 337) I’ve ended up crashing well short of the runway, but in the default 737 Max I have zero problems. Hi folks, allow me the vanity of engaging in a bit of shameless self-promotion. I just released my enhancements to KVRB Vero Beach Regional Aiport at flightsim.to. As with all of my enhancements, this is simply taking default objects and trying to make the airport look a bit more like the real thing. Correct windsock placement, remove things that aren't supposed to be there, trees, vegetation, buildings, etc., replace default auto-gen when a default item would look better, add buildings if they are missing, add lighting, add static bits, cars, etc. Vero is a bigger airport, and being the home of Piper has quite a bit of custom buildings that I simply cannot rep…

All of a sudden BATC at airports like Lisbon ( LPPT ) runway 2, wants me to backtrack along the runway instead of following the parallel taxiway till the 20 interception ? Same at LPFR for runway 10... ???

Hi, Does anyone have any tips for take off in the Fenix A320 in x-wind? I just did a take off with a 10-knot crosswind. I ended up chasing the centreline with the rudders and then on rotate as I brought the rudders out the nose yawed violently. What's the best way to do it? I read the Airbus don't recommend using ailerons during TO roll. Thanks

Every few months I have to go through this weirdness where all of a sudden and for no apparent reason, MSFS just continuously crashes on startup - after any number of successful flights right up until then and with nothing else changing. I've been flying flight sims since 1983. Using FSX, P3D, MSFS 2020 and now MSFS 2024. Using the default 737 MAX and a flight plan created using default planner, Simbrief or LittleNavmap I get the same results when doing a ILS approach. Everything is set correctly. Course and frequency. I get the red indicator showing the glideslope and watch as it slowly goes down. The problem is the aircraft doesn't follow the glideslope. It continues to fly the intercept altitude and doesn't lose altitude as it should. Is this a bug with the MAX or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. Bob G.

Hi, I’ve recently started getting weird screen freezes where the simulator only visually freezes (but if I press window views etc I can hear the location is changing so it’s just the screen output not refreshing?). An easy workaround is pressing ALT+TAB to change app focus or pressing CTRL+ALT+Delete if that doesn’t work. I’ve noticed the problem is more frequent when changing views or when using Loseless scaling (but happens also in none of those cases). System spec in my signature, using mostly ultra settings on 4K with TLOD and OLOD set to minimum 100 in the AutoFPS app. Any idea? Thanks!

Okay, need this forums help. I'm trying to learn how to fly the a330, however with each flight I attempted the EFB would not give me a Takeoff Performance and I'm not sure why. The flights were these: RJOT - RJTT RJFF - RJGG RJBB - RJTT I believe the runways are long enough. Even tried different flap configs and even forced TOGA. So I'm at a bit of a loss here. I only managed to get the last flight to work by using the performance calculator on Simbrief. Also, one other questing. Is ZFWCG listed somewhere on the Simbrief flight plan? Want to get away from relying on the EFB to handle everything in case something like this pops up, lol. Thanks …

Does anyone know why FlyTampa's CYYZ shows no snow in winter? The city is covered in snow which correctly shows in MSFS2024, but the airport itself looks like spring. I am on the beta and am not sure if that is causing the problem.

Hello, does actually anyone have noolaero VDGS successfully running in MSFS2024? I have 4 airports that should be compatible with it, KSFO, NZAA, EGLL and LSZH, and none of these work. I made sure that GSX config is the one for noolaero, so not GSX controlled (I don't get the text-popup). To my understanding, it shouldn't be required to set the gate in GSX before coming up to the gate, and the module should detect the aircraft. But nevertheless, it doesn't work if I set the gate in GSX. I've made sure to: - setup exe.xml to auto start (I see it in the task manager) - run the scan, all 4 airports are listed The displays remain black. I have th…

Just reporting that after the FS2024 patch of 11 December the JPLogistics Cessna 152 works for 99% in the new sim. All instruments incl. autopilot and transponder finally get electrical power. Enjoy!

Is it just my imagination? I used to fly a route, do a turnround then another, over and over without a restart in P3D. In fact, I did a solid 24hrs once with no issues. Seems that MSFS becomes more and more unstable with each turnaround. Functions or features of the aircraft, sim, or utility program will randomly stop working properly and performance diminishes for MSFS. I found the only thing to do so I don't waste time is to restart the sim after every flight which in itself is time wasting but at least I haven't invested 2 hours into another flight when it goes bad on me. I am on a 2080TI and event viewer would normally show out of memory after a crash. I had no issues with crashes at all on FS2020 for 4 years until I updated my drivers. After updating My simulator would constantly crash after about 2-3 flights, have long freezes and pauses during cruise even and cause my airplane to lose or gain about 2-3 thousand feet of altitude after a freeze. Initially it made me think it was an issue with the Fenix which is what I primary fly. I have reverted back to a driver version of 555.99 build from summer of 2024! and now my sim is once again very stable. Is anyone else experiencing an unstable sim recently?
