Hi All, Is it possible to assign keyboard commands to Alternate Flap Extension, eg. the down arrow? (I'm using PMDG 737 in MSFS) This would be useful when practicing Hyd B failure so I dont have to keep going up to the overhead panel and then back to the flap gauge. Sometimes it's the small details in the sim which impress me most. Am currently doing my IR in the real world, and one of the things taught early on is flying on partial panel and in particular being able to fly turns using just the magnetic compass - imagining your HSI/DI has failed. This is harder than it seems, because the magnetic compass is partial to error. Particularly when turning onto northerly or southerly headings. You're therefore taught the acronym 'UNOS' which stands for Undershoot North, Overshoot South. Is there an easy way to find out what size aircraft can be parked at specific gates/ramps at an airport? In P3D, I just opened up Airport Design Editor to get this information, but I do not have that option in MSFS 2020.

Hi there , all off the sudden i am not able to land this bird very well. I do have a broken left shoulder but i fly as a F/O😀 so not really an issue beside the throttle to idle/reverse etc. I have a HOTAS Warthog and used to do pretty well. I retard at 40 feet and Flare at 30 -20 feet but it feels way to late. (-400 fpm) Any suggestions? Btw the -SL feels very very floating but here i am able to be at -200-300 fpm Thanks Michael Moe

Hawker Fury msfs2024 16:9 single monitor vs. 32:9 double wideview (Nvidia Surround) There are 32:9 monitors in 2K or 4K wideview Or like me two 16:9 side by side using Nvidia Surround from which I took these pictures. So my double wide setup that made the picture above is 1440p = 5184 x 1440. But there are double wide 4K monitors = 7680 x 2160. The monitor below is 4K doublewide by Samsung which is currently on a sale price at Bestbuy chainstores. The addon p42-flow-pro landing rate widget cannot show the touch down image. Its okay before. But after one time network issue with MSFS options lost, the widget cannot show the image. I reinstall the addon by putting into community floder again, but nothing changed. Please help!

In FS2020, my display settings include TAA, Frame Generation, V-SYNC, 100% Monitor Refresh Rate (60Hz), and DX12 Beta. When I try to set up the same settings in FS2024 I can't turn V-SYNC on -- why is that? Thanks, Al

While MSFS2020 loads seamlessly without a hitch, MSFS2024 unfortunately encounters an error, preventing it from moving forward. Any idea?

Can anyone help me with these issues that I am having? The standard "Shift+P" command for pushback does not seem to be working I cannot get the aircraft to load in "ready to taxi" mode at a parking position. I did this with the 737, and it now loads in "ready to taxi" mode every time that I start at a parking location. Unfortunately, the 777F does not seem to "save" this selection when I return to the menu screen (or exit the simulator). Where are custom panel save states stored? I would like to remove the one that I added.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I can't find the option in settings.

I am not a real life pilot, but if I was, I would never, ever get in this airplane again. I took the default Cessna 208 Grand Caravan for its first flight today in MSFS 2024, and the disappointment is ALMOST as bad as how I felt about how badly they butchered the DA-40 in 2024. Take off roll was OK, but the airplane jumped into the air at 60+ like somebody had stuck a pincushion on its rear end. No worries, its a bush plane, maybe this is realistic (I don't remember the 2020 Caravan doing this, but we'll go with it.) Is anyone else having this annoying problem again? I've been waiting for 22 minutes now as I write this.

I hear about people having issues with the 737 in 2024. I have done a few flights and it has worked well other than a TCAS alert that was erroneous. Has anyone been trying it? The Fenix keeps dying on me from a FPS and was looking for something else.

Im at a loss guys... after the updates, my sim freezes when i finish the flight and shut things down... (have to CTRL ALT DEL each time as not responding) i do run the following... Fenix A320 Beyond ATC Mini Cockpit APL2 FSRealistic Ive used all these programs before with no problems but this ending a flight with the sim just freezing is getting old real quick! I thought it had something to do with popout windows etc...still do! Anyone else had this frustrating thing happen?
