February 20, 20251 yr Can anyone help me with these issues that I am having? The standard "Shift+P" command for pushback does not seem to be working I cannot get the aircraft to load in "ready to taxi" mode at a parking position. I did this with the 737, and it now loads in "ready to taxi" mode every time that I start at a parking location. Unfortunately, the 777F does not seem to "save" this selection when I return to the menu screen (or exit the simulator). Where are custom panel save states stored? I would like to remove the one that I added. February 20, 20251 yr Author I have remembered how I got "Shift+P" to work with the 737-600. I changed the "Pushback = 1" statement in the aircraft.cfg file to "Pushback = 0". It works fine now. I would still like to know how to get that "Ready for Taxi" mode to stick though..... Wow, great find! PMDG had actually disabled it in the 777 by design... According to them default pushback in MSFS or GSX did the job but neither of those help me when I load at a gate and the plane is positioned 5 ft too far forward and I just need to move it back 5 ft. Thanks for that! Wouldn't you have to create the panel state and then make that the default? By default gates are C&D so you would need a new default panel state. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
February 21, 20251 yr Author That default pushback tug was a PITA, so I wanted it gone! The standard pushback gets the plane moving backwards instantly, which is what I am used to from P3D and FSX. With respect to the panel state, I did not have to create one for the 737-600. I loaded the plane at a parking position, and switched to the "Ready for Taxi" mode. Ever since then, it has loaded the "Ready for Taxi" panel state automatically every time that I start at a parking position (gate or ramp). I assumed that this would also be the case for the 777F, but it does not seem to be working. I can switch it every time I start at a parking position, but I have to wait for the panel state to load before I can start using the FMS. February 21, 20251 yr Author You are correct. It is not a disaster. I would just prefer it to save the panel state automatically Edited February 21, 20251 yr by Christopher Low Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
February 21, 20251 yr I have used toolbar pushback on every aircraft for years, it always works and it's free.

So a nice 7am-7pm flight and my first call was 7:30, my last ends in 45 minutes so I get to enjoy departure and arrival and the FO did the rest while I worked LOL...
