I really need Help Understanding DLSS version in FS 2024 1.5.18.0. The .18 version of the Beta is working very well for me and I have few complaints about it. The folder that contains FlightSimulator2024.exe also contains nvngx-dlssg.dll and nvngx-dlss.dll. Both modules are 310.3.0 created 6/18/25 DLSS Swapper also tells me the 310.3.0 DLSS modules are applied But when the sim is running - the overlay at the bottom left shows "DLSSv310.2.1 (nvapp-override) Preset K" There are NO 310.2.1 dll modules in the FS2024 folder. And, what I am really confused about is that there are NO nvngx-dlss modules loaded and running when the sim is running. …

I have not tried to use this plane since purchase, but after seeing some postings I thought I would try. I installed it into 2024, prepared to do a flight KONT/KPDX, but then as I tried to initialize the flight plan I discovered an irritating problem. Simbrief assigned me the Sunshine 5 departure (SNSHN5) with an EHF transition... but when looking in the FMS it was ONLY offering two transitions, i tried paging or scrolling and no, no mistake, it only showed two, BEALE and COREZ I believe. I double checked a couple other planes to be sure, 777F and a 330, yup they offered the correct 5 transitions. Is this problem known, could this be a Navigraph issue, that seems un…

Hi guys, I have not played MSFS in months and I wanted to know if there is anything new available for ai traffic and planes? My specific questions are as follows: 1. Is there a program that would allow me to follow an ai plane from gate to gate without actually flying it myself? 2. Are there any new camera programs that allow me to plane spot at airports without moving with the keyboard keys? 3. Are there any new ai plane models available that can be flown by the simulator? 4. Any new traffic programs or utilities/tools? They can be free or paid for but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars, thank you

I could use some help here… as it’s causing me headaches if not putting my flights at risk: 1. I’m trying to fly VFR, but for some reason, my AI copilot is requesting IFR as soon as I move off the parking spot… I’m like “offensive initials not allowed are you doing? I do not want IFR!” - what am I doing wrong? My process is: free flight, select departure and arrival airports at the top of the map screen, open EFB, add cargo, load plane, review flight plan, change all settings to VFR, load plan to avionics, go fly…then as I say… copilot is requesting IFR?! 2. Hi all. So, after trying to get good performance for VR in MSFS 2024, I decided to reinstall MSFS 2020 to test it out. The program opened, I clicked some options it asked me to decide, and then when it should have opened, I got a CTD. Since then I cannot open the app. It starts to open, checks for updates, then CTD's. I am not sure how to find the problem. I am looking for suggestions on where to look, how to figure out why it crashes right before it delivers the home screen to me. Can you help. This is NOT a VR question, I can't even get the program to open up. Thanks.

Did a flight a couple of days ago from Watson Lake to Whitehorse in the Yukon. Or should I say, I started a trip but didn't finish. Just west of Watson Lake I ran into the worst looking scenery I've seen in many years. Imagine FSX default landclass in a poorly represented area with the lowest resolution mesh and no autogen. That's an understated description of what I saw. I could see better quality in the distance but after a short time, and with any sort of immersion completely gone, I bailed. Installed the new Citation x 2020 version but cannot find it in the 2024 version. In 2024 it shows it's streamed but cannot find it to fly. 😞

I love flying in and around New Zealand, such a beautiful country. I’m having an issue where gates, at least at the international terminal, don’t move when called. Not really the biggest deal, but ‘mersion and all that. Has anyone else experienced the same? I am using GSX as well, not sure if that has been known to cause issues.

If you have a bunch of airports and other scenery files, is it best to only enable the stuff you're likely to visit, or does it matter? Of course the OCD part of me wants to only enable what I'm likely to visit, but I wonder if this is a waste of time, because with FS2024 streaming everything, is it essentially ignoring all my add-ons until I visit them anyway? I know everyone will have an opinion on this, but has there been any official direction on best-practices from Asobo/MS?

Flying around Vancouver the last several days, I expected to see some ships. I only saw a few small craft. it's prime cruise ship season here, and there are always freighters anchored in English Bay waiting for a berth. It's sad. What happened to that? I though it was one of the top promoted features? GAIST adds some ships, but it still seems disappointing. I still didn't see any cruise ships and no ferries, I saw one container ship beached on a bank, and 3 freighters anchored in the bay.

From: Wow, what an excellent 2 months for MSFS. First the FSLabs A320 Neo and Blacksquare Starship release this month. Then next month, the A2A Aerostar releases for early access. Now this FlightFX C750 releases in July too. It feels like many 3rd party developer projects are being released for MSFS recently, it shows the MSFS 3rd party developer scene is so strong!

Hello there, I frequently use Xplane 12 as well as 2020. I think both Sims have their advantages and individual flaws. However I am thinking about getting/upgrading to 2024. I am not interested in the best visuals. I am looking for realistic Physics (Flight and ground) as well as weather and performance. I exclusively fly airliners (Fenix, FSlabs, PMDG). Is there anything 2024 offers over 2020? Would a upgrade be worth it? PC Spec: 9800x3D, RTX4080, 64 GB Ram Add Ons: Active Sky, BATC Thanks in advance and best regards

Dear All, My PC was recently upgraded as it was 7 years old, and was struggling at times to run MSFS2020 OK. My first flight went well for an hour, and then I had a CTD. I then had regular CTD's after that - even re-installing MSFS2020 didn't work. Eventually, with a lot of help from the company that did the upgrade (Yate Computing), it turns out that I had two copies of GameInputSvc.exe on my PC, 1 in C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder, and the other in C:\Windows\System32. I deleted the one in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder and I just flew a couple of test flights that worked perfectly. Hopefully, this might be of use to somebody. Best…
