I am really new to flying. So far I have only played with the C172 G1000. I am wondering what the next step up might be. Needs to be reasonably easy to learn how to start up and fly, good for sightseeing, faster than the C172. I bought the A2A Comanche but I don't know how hard it is to learn and if it's good for touring the landscape. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I have all the Asobo planes and the Comanche, that's it. Thanks.

I ran a search for this, but nothing like it came up. Recently I have been having a problem with the sound in FS2024. At a regular interval of 2 or 3 seconds I get a momentary cutout of the sound in the sim. I only get this in FS2024. Sound in everything else (YouTube, XPlane, Elite Dangerous, recorded videos, etc.) is fine. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it? It pretty much makes the sim unuseaable for me... Thanks, Russ

...and I don't regret a thing. I am generally still very satisfied with Navigraph's offering, since Jeppesen charts are used globally, and their app is amazing, as we all know. In Europe however, LIDO charts are more common, used for example by the likes of LH Group (obviously), AF-KLM, AIG, and others. I access the charts on https://planner.flightsimulator.com/ on my iPad while I fly in MSFS 2020. What surprised me most was how much up-to-date they are, in fact I saw some with effective date in mid July 2025. Honestly, even paying $70 just for (basically) a lifetime subscription would be an insane value proposition. And here we even get the game on top, so to speak. Big …

I'd love to hear your experience. It seems like support's just not there yet for planes like the iFly 737 Max.

Purchased a LG OLED TV monitor with G-Sync and HDR technology. It occasionally starts flickering when running MSFS 2020. It gets so bad that the only solution is to turn off the monitor for several seconds. It solves the problem but ultimately the flickering returns. I was reading that gaming on a Window PC with G-sync and HDR is usually an issue (flickering), especially with LG TVs. Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a known solution or should I get rid of this thing?

Hello. How to save and load the saved flight when we previously landed on a random area, let's say, a seashore in a remote island in a cold and dark state? Thank you in advance

I’m thinking of investing in learning and controls for a 737 in FS24. Probably the Asobo Max to start and then the iFly. I might also try my hand at flying a 747 at some point. My understanding is that Boeing auto throttles will move the throttles automatically. Of course no throttle quadrants I’m aware of will mimic this. How much of an issue does this present in immersion or when switching to hand flying? What happens when you switch off AT and your levers are in a different position from the plane in the sim? I’d like to get the WinWing MCDU and MCP. But they have three different Boeing MCDU options. And it seems the Max has a slightly different button l…

Over the last few days, maybe even a week, airports are over run with gliders with no visible means of propulsion zooming all over the place! (slight over exaggeration for comic effect) I've had the statutory search of the interwebs and found that this is a known irritation but no explanation or cure. I've also played with settings but nothing gets rid of them. Ideas? Oh. 2024

I recently downloaded FLY2High KJAX from ORBX. It works perfectly except there are no approaches listed on the FMS flight plan for any aircraft in MSFS2020. I can get all the departures and arrivals just fine. I contacted the FLY2 company and they had no suggestions. Summary of what I've done to troubleshoot: * The default KJAX works fine and shows the approaches * I removed everything from the community folder except for FLY2KJAX to ensure no conflicts - still no approaches * Searched the MSFS folders for any other KJAX files but could not find any * Deleted FLY2KJAX and reinstalled from ORBX - still no approaches either when downloaded to the O…

I was having problems with cockpit sounds disappearing, especially in the PMDG 777...button clicks, chimes, callouts etc. Worked through a number of things and the only thing that made them come back was shutting down PSXT. Anyone else had the same?

This might be a silly post, but I've been tearing my hair out trying to get a smooth experience with MSFS 2024. I follow IRL routes and it turns out that it was Flightradar24 in Edge that was eating my graphics card. Switch away from the Flightradar24 tab and smoothness ensues... Hope this helps somebody! Cheers.

Two days ago, widespread stutters suddenly began, rendering MSFS 2020 unplayable. Thinking that the only installation I'd done a few days earlier was the Nvidia 576.88 driver, I reverted to the previous driver, but the stutters persisted even after deleting all the Community content, so the only thing left for me to do was reinstall MSFS2020. After reinstalling MSFS2020 from Xbox, the stutters were gone, so I reinstalled everything in Community, running tests as I reinstalled the scenarios, and everything was fine, even installing the Nvidia 576.88 driver. I was back to the same configuration with which the stutters had started, but now they were completely gone…

Hello everyone! I wanted to ask what you think about GSX compared to the default system in MSFS. I’m currently using GSX in MSFS 2020, but I feel like it’s much more unstable and works worse than it did in P3D, where it was simpler and worked much better. Do you think it’s better to stop using GSX and just use the default system in MSFS? Thanks all!

In 2019, MSFS announced MSFS2020 during the same weekend as the FSExpo. The announcement was the biggest news in FlightSim history (reaction, speculation etc) and outshined the Expo itself. Since then, we have had Expo’s where MSFS was the dominant sim / presenter, and even being absent this year, much of the news was MSFS related. Last year Asobo complained about the location (Vegas being hot), was put in an expectant / impromptu Q&A session where one guy practically scolded them, and Jorge was reluctant to commit to a return for 2025. Low and behold, Asobo did not return in 2025 for “stated” reasons, but I believe that the writing was on the wall in the…

With the announcement by Aerosoft/Toliss of the A340, and the iniBuilds announcement of the A340 as well, I realized that within 2 years, MSFS will have a decent fidelity version of every modern Boeing and Airbus airliner. Maybe it won't have all the variants, but I think within 2 years, every modern Boeing and Airbus will be represented in the simulator, at a decent fidelity. And by decent fidelity, I am referring to at least iniBuilds/FBW fidelity, or above: Airbus: A220 - upcoming from Synaptic Simulations A319 - Fenix A320 - Fenix, FBW, iniBuilds A321 - Fenix, FSLabs, iniBuilds A330 - iniBuilds A340 - upcoming from Aerosoft/Toliss, upcoming from …

I hope this is not a religious debate but ’m getting back into the sim (MSFS24) after a long hiatus and wondering what airliner to invest in? I flew the FBW A320 Neo back in the day. Is there a good near “study level” 737 that’s freeware or they are all paid options? I’m not against paying for a good aircraft, but at least back in the day, the value of the FBW was hard to beat. One big draw for me is the availability of affordable MCDU and AP controllers which is why id like advice on which one to invest in. I have the Honeycomb yoke and throttles so kinda leaning towards Boeing to take advantage of the yoke, although I also have a joystick if I go Airbus …

Hello guys! The inibuilds A320neo V2 (+ Enhanced) is available for MSFS2020. Now I wonder if the inibuilds A321LR is also available for MSFS2020? Or is ist just for MSFS2024? Thank you!

I have the Fly Tampa Las Vegas addon. I see that City Update VIII was Las Vegas. Can these two things exist in the sim at the same time or does something need to be disabled before using the Fly Tampa addon? Thanks.

A short circuit last night, under Bert's influence, around EIDW, also proved how good this ** default ** aircraft actually is ! Same with 3 of the helicopters that come **for free** with Standard Edition! I'm a more than HAPPY FS 2024 user already 😍

For a long time now I have focused more on the thing that bothered me the most when I was flying above the layer. I didn't have to make a big effort to notice them either, given the space this problem took up in my field of vision. And I think there is a big problem in the representation. Everything is definitely too blue and without contrast. And all this blue is done in my opinion to have a nice overall visual representation at sunrise and at nightfall but during the day it does not work at all Blue sky, pale blue clouds, blue ground.Blue horizon
