Hi, I havent nailed it and forgot that my MD83 always freeze in the air after about 30-40 minutes. I havent active pause activated so ? what am i missing ? What I wonder is: the TS writes about aiming for FPS numbers that exceed the monitor refresh rate. Which is simply impossible in my case. He also doesnt make it clear if this is a prerequisite for the "no G-Sync trick" to work or not. He also doesnt specify if this trick only works for G-sync compatible monitors. My setup as of now is to limit the FPS to 36 and then double them via nVIDIA frame generation to 72, which is exactly half of my monitors refresh rate …

I decided to start a quick flight from BIAR Akureyri two hours before total darkness (when the FLIGHT CONDITIONS window at the upper right of the setup screen changes to a dark background). However, there seems to be a problem with it. In the FLIGHT CONDITIONS menu, this time is 18:38. Even worse, if I try to set it from the MAP screen, the time is 13:00!! What is happening here? Hi Guys/Gals, I hope this helps someone, because I just spent the better part of a day trying to get 1.5.9.0 running on my older system. It is an i7-10700 Gen 10 CPU with a MSI GTX-1660Ti GPU. I "had" 96GB of Ram in it using two 16GB Corsair sticks and two 32GB Crucial sticks. This new beta started crashing the second I upgraded to it from the last beta version 1.5.8.0. It would crash at 5% and sometimes at 20% loading. If I went back to SU2 there were no problems loading and running the program. After a day and a half of a dog chasing its tail with uninstalling and reinstalling a plethora of stuff, reverting to earlier BIOSes, wearing my fingers raw in the BIOS…

I noticed that 2024 runway lights are blurrier than those of 2020, which are way more sharper. I didnt find a setting at 2024 which can fix the issue

is so bad on fps it will not fly. i have atop of the line computer and at quality setting usually get 50 to 60 fps with dakota i get 7 to 10 something is not right with this plane

MSFS 2020 and 2024 both have some silly and overdone turbulence effects on approach. For those who use RealTurb, especially in 2024, I'm wondering if it provides smoother and more realistic turbulence on approach.

I've not been flying for a couple of days but when I started up 2024 (SU2) the ATC icon in the menu bar have dissapeared. I've toggled the tick-box in the cog setting serveral times and restarted the sim. I've even tried to assign at button for ATC windows aswell but I still don't get the ATC windows to appear. So there is no way I can respond to the ATC so the services of course get cancelled after a while. Really strange 🤷‍♂️

They each have their pros! However, when I only had Msfs 2020, I downloaded and used frequently XForce for my Microsoft FF joystick. I was pleased with it. When Msfs 2024 came out, I purchased XForce for that sim as well. It indicates that it works for both sims. However, when I start XForce it immediately opens Msfs 2024. My question is this: How do I direct XForce to open Msfs 2020, and how do I direct that same program to open Msfs 2024? You cannot open the…

Does the AIG AI stuff work with 2024? Can't see anything explicit on the AIG website and if I start it up under 2024 it starts ok, reports loads of aircraft around me but sitting above KSFO I can see lots of static stuff on the ground with nothing moving, and nothing in the air. I have it running ok in 2020, but nothing happening in 2024. Not looking for any kind of realism (real time schedules or such like), just be nice to see other stuff in the air occasionally. Apologies if this turns out to be a "doh!" moment.

I came across this fantastic video of an A350 instructor for one of the major airlines. He is using the inibuilds A350 to demonstrate how to operate the aircraft. I found it thoroughly absorbing and picked up a few tips. He also points out a few navigation bugs in the A350 flight management system (just in case inibuilds see this thread). Hi, I am running Win 10 LTSC, 21H2, build 19044. Many people have successfully run MSFS 2020 on LTSC, but I get the infamous issue where the game shows black loading screen after splash, and never gets to the main menu, with the loading circle at bottom right corner. It is stationary, but rotates a bit every 5 seconds or so, and the game never loads. CPU usage is 1%, RAM is around 530 Mb and moves around a bit. I suspect the issue is that LTSC doesn't have Xbox app, and no Microsoft Store that is needed to install that Xbox app. I tried to install the Store via this tool, but it doesn't work, Store is installed but when I launch it I get "check your connection" error…
