Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I never used to see this message before. I haven't fired up the sim in about a month and decided to the other day after I updated 2024. When in the Fenix or FSlabs, when I get into the screen where it says click to fly (i think), a box comes up that says something along the lines of "GPU overload, my GPU isn't capable and that I need to reduce my settings for performance". I never felt like i had performance issues nor do I feel like I have a bad GPU (in my signature). Is this something new or could something have changed on my system that i need to address?

After installing the MSFS 2024 SU3 Beta 1.5.10.0 update, all my Logitech Flight Instrument Panels (FIPs) stop working. They are not responding at all neither with Logitech MSFS Plugins nor SPAD.neXt. Going back to the official 1.4.20.0 version, all FIPs resume working normally. Anyone encountered the same issue with the new Beta ?

This tuber uses Dynamic Mode with an FPS target of 40 to remove landing stutters. Since I don't uses LOD auto tuners this works for me at large addon airports like FD KSFO. dd

I updated my FSlabs so it can be used in 2024. I had my detents set up perfectly in 2020. Now, in 2024 the detents are off. I know i need to set them up in the MCDU, but I can't remember how to do it. Does anyone have any steps on how to? I thought it was as simple as putting the lever in a detent and then copying that number next to the detent it is in. When I do that, in some detents it says "format error". Some detents seem to align and some don't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

In mouse settings, right click and hold is enabled as 'Cockpit free look', however suddenly (it's been working fine for the last two months), it won't work. Also, just checked, clicking the centre mouse button doesn't enable free look either. Only happens in cockpit view (works fine in external view). MSFS2024 is so frustrating at times as I've not changed any settings. Any suggestions?

I have just found the roof colors of the custom buildings are mostly the same in different regions of the world. They are mostly white and light brown. I am very surprised I haven't noticed that before. Maybe it's because I mostly flew in mountain areas and photogrammetry cities in the past. I have tried a lot of different countries and cities. Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Shanghai ... they are all of the same color. Just try Venice with photogrammetry turned off, and you will see its roof color become white and light brown. Venice, can you believe that? Is there anything wrong with my setup, or is it also your case?

When you receive your copy of ms2024 or any other time you need to login to MS, there is going to be an issue doing that if you have an Honeycomb Alpha yoke connected. Believe it or not, this is a real issue. When you try to enter the box to put in your email and/or password, you will not be able to do so when some of the switches on your alpha yoke are in the wrong position. Sounds crazy. But it's true. So just remember if you have problems typing in the MS login box, start throwing switches up and down on the yoke until you can do it. Hi all, I’ve posted this at FSDT forum but had no reply as yet. The other day I was given a non-standard but very reasonable push back instruction from VATSIM ATC that I couldn’t properly comply with. I have today tried to learn the art of a quick edit pushback however the arrow keys don’t move the “target” but just move the camera/view around. (Or if they are moving the target it’s minimal and not usable due to the camera moving). I’ve not, to my knowledge, changed settings for bindings and can’t see anything obvious at all. This is in FS2020. Help? Thanks in advance.

Introduced LSFG 3.0 which on my system thus far is simply incredible. The DLSS ghosting is improved, artifacting is much better but not gone and I've never seen MSFS this smooth and "fast" and by fast I mean it genuinely feels like AI, Clouds, wingflex is all happening much quicker giving a great immersion and sense of speed. As for textures they are crystal clear to the horizon. As always, YMMV but for me this is a good step up.

First CTD in ages in Fenix A320 a few minutes after takeoff. Zero clue why. Happened completely out of the blue. Had to start all over again. I need a way to save and reload if I'm going to keep doing long flights in the Fenix A320. Otherwise just seem to be wasting time waiting for the random CTD to happen midflight for no discernable reason. After testing the save/load function, I noted the load function does not even reload fuel quantity and payload like it does for other aircraft. Does any know if the paid version of the pushback toolbar app have the same issues as the free version in that it starts the pushback back and starts swinging the plane around? Is there a fix?

Anyone else notice there aren’t any thunderstorms in live weather anymore? I get rain and that’s it. 😞 miss the days of escaping the Bahamas just as a large thunderstorm passes over the field.

I went ahead and bought the iFly 737 based off of all the great reviews. It was late last night and only really had an hour or so to poke around but what I’ve seen so far is incredible. The sounds and modeling are on another level. I’m really looking forward to getting back into 737’s because I’ve been flying the FBW A320 pretty much all the time. I was setting up a flight into KSLC and there was no option for the 35L Rnav RNP Z approach, which has an RF leg. I’m not sure if that approach is labeled AR, but I was surprised not to see it listed in the FMC. I’m assuming the iFly can shoot these types of approaches because on its feature list, it has RF legs there…

I'm starting a new topic as originally I thought PSXT was causing problems with sounds disappearing in the flight deck. But, it seems like any AI traffic generator (PSXT, FSLTL, Beyond ATC) is all doing the same. Is there a way to disable the sound limit? It seems MSFS 2024 is disabling sounds when they reach a limit (as I guess they are doing with AI generated). Surely sounds on AI traffic should be disabled before sounds in the cockpit are? It means button clicks, chimes but most importantly call outs (V1, rotate etc) are not being heard. It's really affecting using MSFS properly. When resinstalling MSFS 2024 from scratch this week to make a clean install before pulling the FSLabs A321, the PMDG 777-300 and yesterday the iFly 737 MAX, I used the usual steps that make a complete reinstall of MSFS 2024 piece of cake, including moving the Packages and Rolling Cache to a folder / drive different from the defaults by editing "UserCfg.opt"...
