I just landed at Heathrow and most of the terminal buildings were invisible as I taxied around (not including Terminal 2B, which happened to be the terminal I was going to), is that the issue at hand? On thread, does JFK have the same issue? Seems to be a conflict with another runway at JFK that uses the same frequency. So sounds more like a sim issue than a scenery issue. The problem is that the 22L localizer and 04L localizer use the same frequency (110.9). At the real airport, both localizers would never be operational at the same time, but in the sim they are both “always on”. The one you receive depends on your position in relation to the runway threshold. In the case of a airport with a single runway that uses the same ILS frequency on both ends (which is common in the real world), the ILS will switch when you pass the midpoint of the runway. Both MSFS and P3D work that way, and it generally works well. The problem at JFK might be that the threshold of 22L is foward of the threshold of the adjacent runway 22R/04L. If you land a bit long on 22L the localizer might suddenly switch to 04L. Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist.
