Which no brainer airport for 1 -2 hrs airliner flight ?
These are the airports I use whenever I try out a new plane or procedure or want to test something. Close buy and easy to takeoff and land at. Taking off from KSAN is favorable. Purchase if that is what you are aiming for or just use the default if you are not ready to buy yet. 2 very good addon airports. Specially KSFO

MSFS 2024 New Bonanza G36 mod (free)
Link is no good, but the site looks legitimate. You have to join a discord channel that then sends you to another site, so yeah, major reason to be concerned in this day and age. initiative goes a long way, but it also sends you to scams or worse. Site looks legit. Had no problem downloading the zip file, unless my computer does not start tomorrow...

BATC IFR Callsign via Simbrief
I've actually been having trouble lately where BATC calls me an Airbus no matter what I put in. This is new so something may be going on with the latest updates. I am not new to BATC and this has never occurred before.

General Aviation vs Airliners
I sadly buy almost everything. I fly a lot of airliners with VA so that keeps you busy. But my love is really GA. I try to stay off the autopilot much as I can. Try and figure out the VFR maps. Like others prefer to fly something I think I could handle in real life. Comanche Bonanza and Caravan and the sort.

Beyond ATC is just not there yet
What I mean is BATC got it wrong. I know it's right hand traffic. I thought that was clear.

Beyond ATC is just not there yet
Just flew KSNA to KSAN VFR Great flight. Lots of GA planes taking off at KSNA Both landing and taking of at KSAN Lots of work still for VFR ATC but it was still fun. Had me do a left hand entry into KSAN. Should have been a right hand entry. No way you go in from the left. In fact, I have yet to have ATC give me a right hand entry VFR into any airport. Hopefully something they are working on.

A study level helo…? You had me at “study”
2024 is so much better for helos Suprised they worked it for 2020. Makes me worry how well it will port to 2024. Looks promising though

Hmm. I have the payware. Will have to keep digging Thanks

KBCT and BATC
Turns out my destination 07FA is the culprit. Never used it with BATC before. Probably not programmed properly. Its more of a private airport.

KBCT and BATC
Thks. Already deleted BATC and the Airport. Will try an empty Commu folder later. At least I know its on my end.

Upcoming Carenado King Air 200
Underwhelmed, but in their defense, I had a very negative opinion even before I bought it. I don't even like the graphics in the cockpit. The good news is it made me get the TBM 850 out. What great plane that is. Will have to try it again but maybe I just don't like the King Air itself. (I know, Blasphemy)

Upcoming Carenado King Air 200
Spent on hour last night just taking off from Placeville KPVF In all the GA planes I have I got to give it to Carenado they sure make pretty planes. Came real close to buying the new King Air 200. Food for thought... I wish blackSquare and Carenado would get together to greater a plane. can you imagine getting the best of both worlds in one plane. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Recommendation request :-) What jetliner should I...
Looking at your post I would look into the md88 or the new L1011. I do not agree on the RJ. Great plane but I think you would prefer the other 2. The MD88 is amazing The L1011 is new and I do not own. Not sure if its been updated yet.

BeyondATC: v1.8.6 EA, v1.9.0 Exp. and toolbar v2.0 out
I forget how much the experimental is but it's peanuts. As for VFR, it's early but promising. Simbrief ,flightplan or directly from the sim for the flight plan or lack off. Pretty good taking off. Like you said no flight following yet. Approach is basic both of my flight were good. Very basic so far though. I prefer that when having it all and it be completely broken. For more in depth I will leave to others as I barely know what I am doing in VFR

Bonanza piston or Baron 58 or 58p
Well you guys got me going. Time to learn how to properly fly a Twin. As others have said the Baron is basically a Bonanza with 2 engines. So I have decided to pick the 58P because why not. Plus I still want a piston. Did my first landing on 1 engine tonight. Going to try the right one tomorrow. Should be a little harder if the sim and BlackSquare have done their job Plus, I found a nice red paint by Ryan, so I have no other choice now. :-)

Bonanza piston or Baron 58 or 58p
Wow. Thks for the links. Will definitely check them out. Weird how hard it is to find real info on GA planes Don't get me wrong. I am not senile. Just trying to fly these birds as close to reality as possible. All I have is a couple of courses on a 172 cessna to go by That means concentrating on one more then others. Got a lot of bad habits flying the big birds. Could easily just take off, at 2000 and descent at 1500 and not even use the oxygen. The sim won't care much, but far from reality. Not like anyone is going to throw up or die.

Bonanza piston or Baron 58 or 58p
Good to hear about the night oxygen. I thought it was weird but it was (directly from Beechtalk Forum. Real Pilots not sim pilots.)(That part is wrong, it was AI generated) I definitely feel like I am sitting closer to the door in the Baron. (That is also wrong). Going back I notice the default view on the A36 Bonanza is off slightly and not centered on the seat.) (at least on my computer). The camera on the Baron looking down is perfectly aligned with the seat. Also you have that little square thing in the middle of the front screen. Forget what it is called, but it does block the view a little and then there are those 2 big motors on the wing. Although I am sitting higher now so that helped a lot. This is what I read. Cant trust the internet for anything. Above 10,000 ft (Day) / 5,000 ft (Night): Recommended to prevent hypoxia and fatigue.

Bonanza piston or Baron 58 or 58p
Bonanza piston vs Baron 58 or 58P I have been fighting this is they came out. No interest in flying any of the turbo props. This discussion can only be about the pistons. The answer was obvious to me, the Baron right. Now I am not so sure. I like to fly under 10K but I also like a little more speed and now I find out that at night flying, you should be using oxygen after 5000. Those little gadgets under your nose are not for me the Bonanza is so much easier to fly then the Baron. The view from the cockpit is so much better. I use the 750/650 and they are stacked one on top of each other. So much easier to use. Your not sitting crunched to the door like in the Baron. I can feel it even in the sim The Baron is of course much cooler. Faster but just a little. 2 engines is hard to beat. And if I fly the 58P I can go up the 15000 if needed The Baron is also much better in the mountains Just fly both you say...but what if you could only fly one..
