I don't know about you folks but I have well over a hundred add ons and I rely on these threads and developer emails (if I get them) for updates. You DO NOT get notice of every update. What it the point of this Community if you are not sharing information? I can't search every add on each week for an update. I find it hilarious that those who don't like updates because I guess they are not needed come in these forums to post that they are not needed. Not picking a fight....I enjoy you all. 🙂

I appreciate the new threads. The single threads can get very long and you miss the update.

Sometimes that occurs because the correct doors are not open.

Anyone know why the GSX voice is disabled? In the settings, it shows audio on but no audio...just text.

Ah...that make sense. I suppose the various updates within beta probably doesn't help either. I am not using beta so I can use Chaseplane. it is such a benefit to have.

I hadn't heard that. Here's a quote from their website...note the word "yet:" "ChasePlane is not yet compatible with SU5 beta for MSFS 2024. EXIT THE BETA to continue using ChasePlane."

Anyone able to use with SU5 beta? Usually developers have a fix fairly quickly so I am surprised there has been no update. I haven't tried it again with SU5 but curious if there is a workaround?

I can't speak to Glidescope past but every airport I have purchased thus far under the Glidescope name has been excellent. I don't have KPBI so I won't comment on it.

I have noticed this too and it is a good question. I have never flown an airplane so I like to rely on BATC announcements. Sometimes I get them and sometimes I don't. Is that how it is IRL? I would think ATC would have to announce to avoid collisions, especially in IFR flying. Because of this, I tend to follow the flight levels identified in the flight plan to ensure I don't come in too high.

I've been struggling with this too. I have to use the windows search function to locate the 2024 and there is no option to go to file location. Only the 2020 is an actual application in its folder. Yet when you install 2024 version it is installed in the same folder as 2020 but again no application unless I am missing something?

They say it works but I never could get thru the steps. If you go to BATC discord and search for it, I think you will find it there.

There are workarounds out there but they are not simple.

I do the same thing. I load AS into simbrief. That’s what I meant. BATC follows simbrief as best I can tell (not an expert on this), but it draws ATIS from Asobo. I would like it to draw ATIS from AS.

Anyone know if it is now compatible with SU5 beta?

I paid ($60) for EA and love it. It is $30 for lifetime product. BATC has regular updates and the product has improved with each update. It is not a final product. They are also responsive in discord. I just hope they can eventually sync ATIS with Activesky. AS works great with it otherwise.

Can't say I agree fully. I think it is hit or miss. I have all 3 models installed and max aircraft and I still feel like traffic is slow at times when it shouldn't be at big airports. Sometimes there aren't even a lot of parked airplanes. Love the addon but I do hope they can make that more realistic.

They've been very easy for me and I am usually struggling with this sort of thing. I use the xbox controller for fine tuning. That said, I don't have elaborate camera positions.

CP announced on its site that it is not yet compatible with SU5. I just uninstalled SU5 and the the saved cameras were still working fine.

Hmm...I have 2024 and link all my airports to Community folder whether from 2024 or 2020. What's happens if you put everything in Community?

I purchase the E170 and 190 series. But I cannot get my simbrief username to take. I tried both my username and pilot ID. Never had this problem before. Also, when I click on GPU from EFB nothing happens. Also...can't the MCDU to work either. When click buttons, nothing happens when it powers on...doesn't power on each time. Same problem both models. Appreciate if anyone knows solution to problems. Thanks.

Can someone confirm these jets work in 2024. On the purchase page it says MSFS 2020.
